It seemed like a blink that went on longer than usual. After a few seconds of complete darkness suddenly everything was back. Light shining bright on my eyes. I looked around, we had been transported to a new place. It was us 5 there in what seemed to be at the entrance of a castle. It seemed we were dropped here in order to enter it, to do what though was something I didn't know. I looked over to the others who came with me. Alice was on the floor looking scared, Emma was by her side comforting her. Lucas was in front with his back facing me, I couldn't tell what he was looking at specifically but it was in the castle's direction. Colt was next to me doing the same. He looked over at me after some time and pointed to the entrance.

"There's someone there"

I looked to where he was pointing at, barely able to make anything out from this distance but a black smudge. How was he able to see that far? It looked like he was right, there seemed to be a person standing next to a door. I looked at Colt again.

"Is it just one person?"

He looked over and nodded. At least that was some good news, even if something bad did happen we still outnumbered the person. With that established the best course of action would have been approaching the unknown person.

"lets get closer and ask him where we are"

Colt nodded. I went up to Lucas and told him what Colt and I were talking about. He listened but didn't look over, once I was done talking he responded.

"Tell the girls about this too and have the one with the weapon at the front with us"

It wasn't a response that was too surprising, I had those same thoughts as well, Emma looked stronger than both I and Lucas excluding Colt. I nodded and headed over to where the girls were.

"We're going to start heading to the castle, Emma we need you next to Lucas at the front in case something happens"

She got up and looked over at me. I hadn't noticed before but she looked especially serious. She grabbed Alices hand and pulled her upwards. She started walking over to me and handed Alice over.

"Ill be at the front but you take care of her, it doesn't seem like you would be much help at the front anyways"

I couldn't tell if she was being rude or just candid. She was right however I was the smallest out of everyone here besides Alice and didn't have much besides the small knife I was carrying. I agreed with her and brought them over to Lucas and Colt. Being at the back with Alice I didn't see much point in having the knife especially since it would be better off in someone's hands right now. I went up to Colt and handed him the knife.

"Ill give you it for now but I'm expecting it back"

He chuckled.

"Sure thing partner"

After settling everything we all started walking over. It wasn't too far it took us a minute to reach half way. As we got closer I noticed that the person standing next to the door was holding a spear. Was it a guard? We got even closer to the point where we were just about 10 feet away from the guard. Just as Lucas was about to call out to the guard Alice stepped on a hole on the ground a tripped over. Just as I was about to look over to her to see if she was fine the guard in front of us who had been facing downwards snapped his head up. He looked pale with bruised skin his eyes had a grey film covering the original brown coloring it had making it seem like a murky brown. It stood there staring at us. Was it not able to see us? I looked to Alice in a hurry to see what she was doing. She had been picking herself up from her fall, just as she was getting up I saw her look to her front at the guard, she opened her mouth. Ah fuck.

"AHHHHHHH"

The guard started rushing right at us. Too fast for us to even react to it. Lucas panicked grabbed his Pitchfork and tried to stand his ground infront of it. The guard with his spear took the fork to its stomach and pierced Lucas in his shoulder. This made him let go of it. He looked to our side and shouted.

"Hit him!"

Emma who was the closest to him swung her mace at the guards back. It did nothing, the guard who had just been hit from a different side pulled out the spear and lunged at Emma. She managed to side step the spear. It looked like the guard wasn't taking any damage from the attacks that we dealt. Lucas was on the ground trying to cover the hole the spear made with his hands and Alice was in the back shaking. The guard seemed to respond to noise and could only see close to it. Just as it was distracted I went over to where Lucas was and grabbed the Pitch fork. I looked over at Emma, it seemed that after the guard missed her he was looking around as if he lost her. She saw me. I slowly approached them. I was a few feet away from the guards back. I looked to Emma one last time, she seemed to understand what I was going for, she nodded. With that I lunged at the back of the guards legs. It managed to knock him over. I looked to Emma.

"Smash its head!"

She wasted no time, she lifted the mace up over her head and with a swing brought it down. She did this a couple more times before Colt stopped her. I looked down at the smushed up remains of the guards head. It looked like a smashed apple.
