You haven't changed a bit." Alex sighed deeply looking at the blank screen of his cell phone. Talking to Enzo after so long took him back to his past.

"Hello? Where are you man? I have been waiting here for hours." Enzo yelled at Alex as soon as call connected.

"Turn around."

"Why are you so late? And why did you bring Eric with you? We are not going on a picnic." Enzo said to Alex.

"Eric was getting bored at home so Dad asked me to bring him with me. Eric can you get us something to drink? I am feeling thirsty." Last two sentences of Alex were directed towards Eric.

"If you want me to get lost just say it." Eric fixed his cap and said before leaving.

"Will you really bring him with you? I thought you still considered him as a kid." Enzo said after sitting on a nearby bench.

Alex and Enzo were assigned to get rid of a new gang causing trouble in their territory. They even killed their two men just to get attention of the Leader of Black Rose. Alex and Enzo decided to meet at this park first but Alex was two hours late.

"He is a kid. He is just thirteen years old. And you are right. I definitely won't bring him to the fight. We have to delay this mission for now. You want some?" Alex offered the box of cigarettes to Enzo after lighting one for himself.

"No thanks. You should not smoke too much either. You will get addicted." Enzo paused and said again.

" We were younger than Eric when we started doing these things."

"I know but I don't want him to experience all these horrible things we did at such a young age." Alex said while looking at the kids playing in the park.

"Horrible things? I think its pretty fun." Enzo smiled.

"Only a psycho like you can think killing is fun." Alex smiled too.

"Who can say that you are the eldest son of the Boss and next leader of Black Rose? I am worried for the future of Black Rose and I am worried about the time when I have to take orders from you."

Enzo really looked so worried that Alex couldn't stop himself from laughing.

" Then you can take my place." Alex stopped laughing and said seriously after a while.

"That's not possible. I hate to admit it but you are better than me in everything. You say you hate killing but you have never missed a shot before. Sometimes I think you are even better than your Father when it comes to killing."

"Alex there is something I want you to know."

"What is it?" Alex Asked Enzo and threw his cigarette when he saw Eric coming back.

"Next time if you made me wait for so long and then cancelled the mission like this. I will break your nose."

"Sorry." Alex started laughing again.

"What are you laughing for you idiot." Enzo said looking annoyed.

"What took you so long Eric?" Alex asked Eric.

"Brother I think someone is following me. Eric said cautiously.

"Great. They found us before we could find them.What do you plan to do now?" Enzo asked sarcastically.

"First we have to send Eric somewhere safe."

"There is no need. You always do this. This time I'm coming with you." Alex said angrily.

"You are too young for this Eric."

"I am coming with you."

"Tsk! Don't be so stubborn. You literally have zero experience of fighting someone. Why are you in such a hurry to die?" Enzo also tried to convince Eric.

"I know how to fight. You taught me yourself. Look Dad even gave me this gun before coming." Eric lifted his shirt and showed Alex.

"Practicing with me and fighting someone in real life is different." Alex said angrily. He didn't want Eric to get hurt at any cost.

"Someone is coming. Get ready. On the count of count of three I will turn and shoot whoever it is in the leg. Understand?" Enzo gripped his gun and said in a low voice.

" Yes."

" Three, two... "

"Eric, is that you?"

"Huh?" Enzo hid his gun immediately and all threeof them turned to see who it was.

"John?" Eric asked the boy unbelievingly and stood up to greet him.

"Hey Buddy. Why aren't you coming to school?" John shook hand with Eric and asked.

"Um.. I.. "

"I asked him to help me with something. He will come school in a few days."Alex helped Eric answer the question. Eric was not going to school because of the matter with the other gang. They were killing the members of Black Rose so it was dangerous for him to go school.

"So that's why you were not coming. I was worried that you might be sick or something. I wanted to come to your home but didn't know your address." John said to Eric.

"Don't worry. I am fine."

"I'll be going then. My little sister is playing over there. I'll go see her."

"Ok. Bye."

"Let's go Eric." Alex said to Eric after John left.

"So you are not taking me with you?"

"No." Alex said firmly leaving no room for argument.

" Fu*k you." Eric murmered under his breath.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing."

"Dad, I have captured this rat. What do you want me to do with him?" Alex asked his Father on the call.

After they dropped Eric at home, Alex and Enzo went to the hideout of the opposite gang and after working for the half of the night they finally managed to capture the Leader of the gang alive.

"Kill him. And make sure to wipe all of his family members too."

"Ok."

"Eric is with you?"

"No. He is at home." Alex clenched the phone in his hand harder

" I see. Come meet me at my study when you come home tomorrow morning."

"Ok, Dad." Alex knew what was waiting for him at home. probably a punishment for disobeying his Father's order. After hanging up the call Alex turned towards Enzo who was cleaning his gun.

"Why are you looking so grim? Did your old man scolded you again?" Enzo asked.

"Not exactly. Are you sure you got everyone in his family?" Alex sat beside Enzo amd asked.

"Yeah. He only has two daughters."

"What about his wife?"

"Already dead."

"I'll take care of him and you get rid of his daughters."

"You always do this. Why do I have to kill the girls?"

"Shut up and get the work done already.You are the one who thinks its fun to kill, Right?"Alex stood up and took out his gun.

"Bastard." Enzo stood up too.

"Any last wishes?" Alex asked the middle aged man tied to chair.

"Let my daughters go. Please I am begging you."

"Do we really have to kill his daughters too? " Enzo asked Alex.

"Orders of Boss." Alex shot the man.

Loud screams of girls could be heard in the room. There were two gun fires and the whole room fell into silence.
