"I am Darren." Darren said while looking at his laptop screen.

"You will know when she will come to work tomorrow." Jess smiled mysteriously.

"Then what should I do now?" Izaya asked when he saw everyone went back to work again.

"Throw this trash outside and buy me a coffee." Darren said.

"An Espresso for me too." Jess also said.

"Go to the cafe across the street and if you tell them you are from agency they won't charge you." Darren said busily without looking at Izaya.

"What if they didn't believe me that I am from agency?" Izaya was hesitant.

"When will you find my locket?" Izaya asked Darren who was just scolded by Alex for misplacing a file.

"Go and ask Boss. He was the one who promised you to find your locket."

"Ok." Izaya was afraid that Darren would vent his anger on him so he didn't say more about the subject.

"Will you really ask Chief? " Later when Matt and Izaya were having lunch Matt asked Izaya.

"I have got no choice. I don't have much time to waste." Izaya answered with a mouthful of food.

"I am more afraid of Darren than Chief to be honest."

"You are saying this because you don't know Darren very well yet. He just get angry easily otherwise he is a nice and caring person."

"Well you know better than me but do you think Chief is scary? Because I don't think either you or anyone else in agency is really afraid of him."

"I am not saying he is scary but we still fear him.Afterall he is our Boss." Matt said after thinking for a while.

"Wow. I am... AHHHH... " Izaya suddenly screamed and jump from his chair while talking to Matt.

"What happened?" Matt also panicked.

"There is a s-snake." Izaya pointed towards his chair.

"Oh. Lucy finally came back." Matt said excitedly.

"Hello everyone." At that moment a cheerful voice sounded in the agency. Everyone turned their heads to look at the owner of the voice.

"Don't scare people like this sweetie." A girl looking fifteen to sixteen years came forward and reprimanded the snake like it could understand what she was saying. She then hid the snake in her sleeves and turned to Izaya.

"I am sorry to scare to you like this." Lucy smiled apologetically.

"It's fine." Izaya said after maintaining a secure distance between him and Lucy.

"By the way my name is Lucy."

"I am Izaya." Izaya introduced himself too.

"So where is Darren? I have got a big news this time." Lucy called out Darren's name loudly.

"Chairman of a pharmaceutical company was murdered last night so I think he went to inspect the crime scene." Matt answered instead of Darren.

"What's the news?" Jess asked Lucy impatiently.

"I will tell when Darren comes but first tell me who is he?" Lucy inquired about Izaya.

"He is working in the agency with us now." Matt said.

"Why? We don't need another member. we are enough." Lucy's excitement went down in an instant.

"He is not a member yet. Chief hired him for help."

"We don't need help." Lucy was still unconvinced.

"Then help me clean my desk." Darren voice sounded behind Lucy.

"Darren came. Now tell us the news." Jess said.

"What news?" Darren occupied the chair behind his desk and asked.

"Leader of Black Rose was attacked last night." Lucy finally ended the suspense.

"What?" Everyone was surprised. Except Izaya, he was confused. "Black Rose? What is this? "

"There are two big Gangs in this city. Black Rose and Night Wanderers. You must have atleast heard of them before." Matt said to Izaya.

"No." Izaya shook his head "But what does it have to do with us? They don't sound like good people."

"Off course they are not good people and that's why we have to keep track of their activities." Darren explained.

"I understand now. "

"Did you tell Chief about this?" Darren asked Lucy in a low voice.

"Not yet. Wait. Where is Chief?" Lucy stopped playing with the paper weight in her hands and asked in an equally low voice.

"In his office." Matt said.

"Shit. Why didn't you tell me this before?" Lucy smacked Matt with the paper weight.

"Ouch! You didn't asked me this before." Matt said while rubbing his shoulder.

"Why can't we tell Chief about this?" Izaya was confused like always.

"Because Leader of Black Rose is Chief's Brother." Matt's voice was so low Izaya could hardly hear what he was saying.
