Chapter 2. Mystery.
P11. The Mysterious figure in the mist.
There was nothing but this mist surrounding only me with a black figure in the distance speaking to me.
The tents and the students were nowhere to be seen.
“How the great Vampire King has fallen,” The figure said mockingly.
I stood there for now analysing my situation.
“It seems that this mist is a dimension isolating me or rather imprisoning me,” I said disregarding the previous statements.
“You're not as foolish as I thought,” The figure said, disappearing and reappearing closer to me.
“I can sense that you are a Celestial…Why have you come out to seek me?” I knew the second the mist appeared that I would be dealing with a Celestial.
However, when compared to Zazaba, this Celestial was much stronger; this authority was on another level.
“You should know who I am. After all, it is not the first time we meet,” The Celestial replied.
Flashbacks of Dracula's betrayal flooded my mind.
“You are the Celestial from 5000 years ago, the one who helped Dracula in sealing me away,” I commented with anger.
“You are correct fallen King,” The Celestial said with amusement.
The obvious question I had to ask was: “Why did you help him?”
A moment of silence occurred.
…………………….
“I helped because believe it or not you are an immense threat to Celestials and I simply wanted to get rid of you, but the other Celestials did not want to partake in the quest of your annihilation so I looked out for those who wished to see you gone,” He stopped his explanation there but I could complete the puzzle on my own from here.
“Until you found Dracula, my second-in-command who wanted to see me gone,” I mentioned knowing I was right.
The Celestial chuckled in amusement.
“It didn't take much to get him to join me,” The figure said.
I smirked.
“But it looks like you failed, oh mighty one. I am still here ready to destroy your web of lies. I will reclaim my lost title, my reputation and my life,” I mentioned sharply, my eyes filled with determination.
“It's sadly true that we weren't able to destroy you, but make no mistake, we will never allow you to become who you once were,” The figure said for the first time in a serious tone.
I cared not about the seriousness of this Celestial.
“You have no hope in defeating me young one,” The Celestial mentioned with a cocky tone.
I laughed slightly.
“That's funny, the last Celestial who was sure he would defeat me is now gone. You, too, will get to feel my power,” I spoke mockingly to the Celestial.
“Zazaba was nothing but a weak fool. I assure you, you won't defeat me,” The Celestial said with confidence.

“I have put many overly confident enemies in their place, you won't be an exception,” I replied.
I knew sooner or later I would have to fight this Celestial, but now was not the time, luckily, the Celestial, that is.
“I know you didn't come here to speak to me about the past. What are you here for?” I asked with curiosity.
The Celestial paused for a moment.
………………………………….
“I came here to tell you something about humans and werewolves,” The Celestial mentioned.
I had a vague idea what it could be, Dracula also mentioned in our brief conversation.
“Werewolves and Humans are not the same 5000 years ago,” The Celestial expressed.
It was obvious that Werewolves and Humans would not have been the same as they were 5 millennia ago. I failed to see the reason for stating the obvious.
“Humans have become obsessed with their experiments, and as for the werewolves, let's just say their appearances have changed,” The Celestial further explained.
“And?” I asked.
………………..
“.....And you should keep an eye on your friends. Hope you trained them well, hate to see them get injured or worse,” The Celestial smirked.
I had feared that the Celestial knew about the three.
“Listen carefully! If you threaten me, that's one thing, but if you threaten my friends, then I will assure you that you will not see me the next day,” I said with an angered tone.
The Celestial with an amused tone said: “I won't do a thing at least not directly,”
At that moment, a golden light appeared, forming my golden spear balance breaker.
I pointed the spear at the Celestial.
“I won't stand by watching you scheme to hurt them,” I said with a firm tone.
“Hahaha, do you think fighting me would be the best choice of action,” The Celestial said with a laugh.
The moment the Celestial said that all the students appeared in the mist who were sound asleep.
“We don't our fight to hurt them,”
“I didn't expect a Celestial to be such a coward,” I told the Celestial.
Even with the students as shields, Balance Breaker would change that scenario in a way that the students won't get hurt.
“Don’t think you're safe just because you have the students here,” I told the overly confident Celestial.
“I know but who is to say that I won't accidentally kill a few of them if we were to fight,”
Now I see what the threat entailed.
“I'll see you around, fallen King,” As the Celestial said those words, the mist disappeared together with the Celestial.
We were back in the forest with the fire still burning and cracking, the students were in their tents asleep.
I was sitting on a tree log when suddenly Gastella appeared from behind me.
“Looks like your conversation went well,” She said.
“You knew this would happen,” It was strange that Gastella was so laid back about it.
“My master told me a certain someone would speak with you,” Gastella said.
“Did your master say that this someone was a Celestial?”
“Perhaps,” She replied.
“How could you just stand there relaxed, not bothered by the fact that the students almost got involved?” I questioned with curiosity.
Gastella looked at the tents with the students sleeping inside.
“How are these my students?..... To me they are nothing,” She said with no emotion.
How cruel. I knew that Dracula put Gastella in the teaching position for the sole purpose of observing me and reporting to Dracula; despite that, I hoped that teaching the kids would somewhat open up her heart to them, forming a strong teacher-student relationship.
Now I saw that this was not the case; she was truly heartless.
“I hope you don't mean those words,” I said to Gastella. I really did hope that she didn't mean it.
Gastella remained quiet, not speaking a single word.
“You can go ahead and sleep. I'll continue keeping watch,” Gastella said with her arms crossed.
Although I didn't need to sleep, I still took the offer.
“Thank you, teacher,” I said to Gastella, leaving for my tent.
…………………………
Morning arrived hours later and the students woke up.
I heard the zippers from the tents open up and students discussing the plans for the day.
“I slept well,”
“How could you? The floor was way too hard,”
“What do we do today?”
I also got ready for the day and I met up with Leyla, Cecilia and Esteban.
“How was the night watch?” Cecilia asked with a smirk.
Considering the conversation I had with the Celestial I only had one answer in mind.
“Long,”
“Morning Ilyas,” Leyla said with a smile.
“Good Morning Leyla and Esteban,” I greeted them with a smile.
“Good Morning to you as well,” Esteban replied.
With the greetings out of the way, all the students packed up the tents and supplies.
“Listen up!” Gastella grabbed everyone’s attention.
The students looked at her.
“Today we will arrive in Liconea! Please mind your manners and do not do things that would tarnish the reputation of our King!” She said with a dictating tone.
She was as kind as ever.
We had breakfast and then continued to walk until we reached Liconea in the afternoon.
“We have arrived,” Gastella obviously pointed out.
We stood in front of the gates.
Looking around I noticed that the appearances of werewolves changed. 5000 years ago, werewolves were completely covered with fur and looked like tall wolves. Now they look more similar to humans and werewolves, with the only differences being that they have werewolf ears and some have paws.
Gastella took care of the formalities with the guards to let us in.
After the matter was sorted we were granted access into Liconea.
The tournament will surely be interesting…
