Chapter 23: Lesson

After Zhang Wei had said that, he instanly regretted it.

Great! Now how am I going to get him to teach me now? He's probably going to kick me out!

It wasn't impossible for teachers to stop a lesson abruptly. If a student offends them or acts unruly, they have every right to to kick a student out and not give them a refund. Zarion Academy may value students, but they teachers represent the core faction of each divisions.

Though if a teacher is deliberately making it hard for a student, then the student may just report the matter to the administration, and the administration will launch an investigation.

However, some influential teachers can even make the administration back down in an investigation. These are high ranking teachers that no one, not even the academy administrators dared cross.

Zhang Wei was now scared that this sick teacher may have just gotten offended and would not just kick him out, but blacklist him and make him unable to even register to join another class.

However, betraying his fear, the sick teacher didn't even get mad. Instead he smiled and started laughing when Zhang Wei muttered what would be the most narcissistic line to have ever been said.

At this point, rather than being relieved, Zhang Wei was scared for another reason. This sick fuck must be insane. I said all that and he laughed? He can't be an M right? Oh sh*t he must be an M! Damn, I have to leave quick and save my purity.

Right now the only one that he blamed was the Author. It was Author's words that define his existence at this world. If the Author said that he was the most shameless person alive, then he would be that person without a doubt. Even now, he acted in contrast to his actual nature, and retorted against this teacher, just because he was just that shameless.

The sick teacher, after having a good laugh, looked at Zhang Wei with amusement, like he was looking at a strange creature. "Well I don't want to commit suicide yet, so how about we just start the lesson."

Seeing that the sick teacher backed off, Zhang Wei was quite relieved and sat down. The teacher stood up and started the lesson.

He then started to explain everything regarding the concept of Martial Practitioners and Physicians, from the basic attributes, to the ranks and requirements to achieve those ranks. He not only stated the core principle typically taught by other teachers, but started arguments as to why those principles may have been wrong.

Listening to this sick teachers lesson, Zhang Wei was gobsmacked. He never would have expected that this sick bastard would be so knowledgable, to the extent where he went against the normal train of thought with his own more comprehensive line of thought.

This one lesson, had answered a lot of Zhang Wei's questions regarding the concept of Martial Practitioners. Also helped proved his initial conjectures regarding some aspects, like why he was able to use [Beast Pressure] skill, despite being a human.

The reason being, skills can be acquired when you defeat another being. Though the chances of acquiring the skills may be small, around 0.0001%, it was still possible. And apparantly, there are no limitations regarding the type of skill that can be acquired.

As long as the being that you defeat had the skill, you can acquire it. Zhang Wei was glad he came to this lesson.

Sadly though, the instructor couldn't explain to him the system's core function. The Overpowered System went against common cultivation rules, and natural cultivation laws. Zhang Wei never needed to abide by the laws that the sick teacher had stated. As to what extent the system could bypass, Zhang Wei can only have a conjecture.

And he also couldn't very well just tell the teacher about the existence of the Overpowered System, he's still in restricted mode.

After the clock struck 10 a.m, the lesson ended. Zhang Wei bid farewell to the teacher and went off.

----------------------------------------

After Zhang Wei had left the classroom, a person snuck in and hid in the shadows unnoticed.

"Interesting fellow isn't he", a woman's voice sounded.

"Haha, for sure", the sick teacher replied. He was not the least bit surprised by the voice.

"You think he would come back?", the woman asked.

"Who knows, maybe he would be like the rest of them. Though I hope he's different.", the sick teacher answered. His hands behind his head and staring at the ceiling. He had a book covering his face as if he was using it to block the light.

"He's special Nicholas, I just got word. The higher ups warned everyone.", the woman's tone turned serious.

The sick teacher Nicholas, smiled and said, "Not like it's my problem. If he wishes to learn, I will teach him."

The woman could only nod and silently left the room.

----------------------------------------

Our shameless protagonist Zhang Wei, was now heading to the lesson's board.

He had previously promised to meet up with Asyraaf, but considering Asyraaf is actually a pretty important student, he had engagements that he could not miss.

Zhang Wei didn't mind, but seeing as he still had quite a bit of time, he thought of going to another lesson.

He went back to the Lesson Board and signed up for another lesson. This time, he was fairly lucky. There were a few seats left in the other classes. He picked the one with the most student's signing up and headed towards the classroom.

Seeing a classroom full of students reminded Zhang Wei of his previous world. Back then, he had hated every single moment he was in class.

If he was not ridiculed by his friends, or had weird gay rumors spread around about him, he would be messing around with his average group of friends.

The teacher had not arrived yet, but the class was in a clamor. Endless chattering could be heard. Most were talking about the teacher.

Though Zhang Wei couldn't hear much, he did heard about how the teacher had a few students who succefully advanced to Level 2.

Zhang Wei suddenly had a higher opinion of this teacher. From what he learned from the sick teacher, rising in levels was harder than it sounded. Guiding a person to advance, was multiple times harder.

More chattering ensued, until the teacher came. The teacher entered the room followed by a group of youths. There were 10 youths, each with a proud look on their faces.

The teacher looked at the students in the class, and said "Those with Good and lower aptitudes, Get Out!"
