Adonai:
*Yawn*
"Oh fuck. I'm late"
Late would be a light way to put it, I missed two of my classes already and I'm gonna miss the third if I don't start rushing. On top of that after the next two are over I have to find Kath and make up with her.
*pant* *pant*
"I ... made it in time."
"Good morning sunshine, or well good afternoon."
"Anwir, hey man good to see you, I heard you had some issues at your house yesterday, hopefully all turned out alright."
"Oh well, you know how it goes the usual bickering with my father, he has a good business opportunity for me and at the beginning I was quite annoyed by the proposal, but I think I might just take it after our argument yesterday."
"So, uhm, Mr. BusinessMan, what's the big deal?"
"I can't tell you that right now, it's still in progress, but someday you'll learn about it, once it's closer to see the light of day anyway."
"Whatever you say, anyway have you seen Kath?"
"No? Not like I spent any time looking for her anyway but for what it's worth, no, not even a single time."
"That's unfortunate, well either way I'll have to find her later, and I need to rush to my next class before it starts, see you around."
"Take care dude."
Anwir, a man around my height, with a sturdy build, silver hair, and striking blue eyes. Needless to say, a hot shot around a woman, and there's also the fact that he comes from a really rich family, his parents deal with business all over the world. That only amplifies his charm with ladies.
But unlike Kath's they have been present in his life and try to introduce him to more and more opportunities. Overall a happy family to my knowledge even with their arguments that happen from time to time, and a good person, always helping people around him. I've not even once seen him raise his voice or hand at someone, and he also carries sort of a pressure with his status, a bit weird but a good guy.
The next two classes passed like they didn't even happen, maybe I should've just stayed in bed today I thought, but I have other stuff to take care of. I've been looking around the campus for a while but nothing, asked friends of her but nothing.
It's weird, but maybe I should just give up for today, if no one has seen her, probably for the better to reach out tomorrow, doing it over the phone would feel impersonal and ...
"What are you daydreaming about?"
That voice, I didn't even need to turn but I knew who it was.

"So Ms. Spotlight decided to finally show her face today huh?" I joked
"Oh shuush, I've been dealing with some stuff you know, couldn't make it earlier than this, but I really really wanted to see you today ... to apologize."
*Chuckle*
"What?"
"I should be the one to apologize, I was very neglectful of how you feel, I know you want to help me but I treated you like crap so I'm sorry."
"You damn right you were ... I accept your apology and at the same time I want you to accept mine. I didn't really consider that our situation was so different, and thinking it over made me realize ... I'm sorry."
"I won't accept it."
"What?!"
"If you want me to accept it you have to uphold your initial idea, let's go out, with the group or just the two of us."
"Quite bold aren't you? Making me pissed at you, come back the next day, give me an apology and now you want a date with me?
"Hey, you apologized as well, remember?"
"Yes I did and since it was my idea it was my idea in the first place, I'll give you a chance."
That's what she said, with a smile that made me feel relieved, I didn't plan to make it sound that way but seeing this really makes me question my feelings towards the woman that's been closest to me so far. I was glad that she didn't hold me at a distance over such an argument, sure we argued in the past about multiple stuff but this one felt rather insensible from me.
Putting a smile on my face I planned to give her a more mischievous response but I couldn't ... before opening my mouth I saw the change in color, everything around us suddenly started to turn darker.
"What in god's green earth is that?!"
A person around us shouted pointing at the sky, I looked up and I saw it, it is surreal, a giant hand, no, not hand it was a claw ... that clearly had scales or something similar on it, a giant claw was prompting on the moon, like it is trying to sustain a body ... no, it was leaning against it or just putting a hand on it for the show.
And then more of the body came into focus, it is a beast, something that I thought exists only in legends and stories. But in this case it is real, a giant head with multiple rows of teeth, red scales, a long neck, and a pair of feline-like golden eyes that's all we could see in its attempt to show itself while not obstructing the sun if I had to assume.
This is the real deal, this is a real dragon ... it looks exactly like how the books described it, even if we can only see so 'little' of it that is more than enough to start the panic in the crowd, with such a display everyone in the world should be able to see it ... how and why?
As I was asking these questions the giant head opened its mouth and it spoke, no word came out of it but I heard it, almost like it was speaking directly into my mind and by the expressions of the people around me they were hearing the same thing. A few minutes passed after the dragon stopped talking and no one moved anymore, stunlocked by the words they said or because the dragon had such a suffocating presence that it would leave people with a weaker heart trembling and crying.
They spoke in a deep slow voice that exerted nothing but absolute authority, letting us know who's the one in control, the words they said were equally as reassuring and as scary to think about.
"Fear not humans, I am not here to cause harm ... the opposite. I am here to bring you information, words of advice and" The dragon paused to take a look at the whole world before speaking again "... as you can see I am a dragon and I am ... The Warbringer.
