Chapter 5 – Journey

A lake surrounded by a beautiful forest.
A kid with 12 years of age, a body without an ounce of fat in it, in the chair near the lake, reading a book while placing a fishing pole in the lake waiting for the bait to be caught. From the forest an animal, looking like a lion with the height of a horse approaches the kid and sits near him. Noticing the animal he pats the animal and it makes a pleasant face even though from the looks of it, it can be proved that it is the Lord of the Forest. Then the kid checks his status card which has astonishing status for a kid

Woden:”(sighs) Every time I see it I’m getting goose bumps. Just what am I, a human and an immortal. I can understand my status on strength and other stuff but not my HP and MP. (Sighs) Well pondering around is not going to help me either”
A fish took the bait.
Woden:”Alright I caught a fish. For tonight I’m going to have these fish and fruits I have already collected”
After dinner, woden gazing at the stares
It’s been nine years after Ellens death. Woden started to live in the place by hunting the animals for food and started his physical training which was very smooth compared to his last life. He then began to explore the forest and located couple of village on other side of the forest. He didn’t visit any of those village because anything may happen to him till he attained 5years. When he gotten to his 5th birthday he first produced his status card which gave him a shock because of the HP and MP which is infinite. At first he thought that he done something wrong during the spell cast but changed his mind after seeing title ‘The Immortal’.
Woden thought of getting the status card from the temple so that he could verify it again but that thought is also halted because some troublesome situation may occur if the palace knew about his name and the status. There are some doubts on his status because of the exhaustion from using magic but that too is cleared when his age started to progress. The metal exhaustion created by using magic doesn’t have anything to do with mana depletion. When he first realized this he was grinning for a while because what kind of invincible person he turned out to be.
Woden started to train even more which resulted him to improve in both physically combat and mana combat. At the age of seven when woden went to hunting he came across the lord of the forest. From the encyclopedia that were in his books he got the species name Tyron, which is lion type animal at the size of an Elephant and has speed of cheetah and power of compared to an elephant on earth.
He thought of testing himself by battling it, which he used both magic combat and physical combat and he won with overwhelming victory at the cost of the Tyron’s life. When he thought of burning the corpse the child of the tyron came near it and started to lick the body.
Woden is not a kind person but he is not a guy who doesn’t have compassion to animals either. He picked up the child with him and started to raise him with him so he could have company.

When woden began ten he started to visit the neighbor villages by wearing ragged cloths and bought rations for himself and started to collect information about the past seven years from various merchants he visited. At first the merchants were suspicious of woden but when some sees him selling the loots from the hunt they thought that the child is supporting himself by hunting in the forest and also they got interest in him due to his bargaining skills and negotiation skills with the customers and merchants.
Some merchants asked woden to work with them for selling goods for low pay. Woden got himself job at pharmacist shop and blacksmith shop and sometimes works at other merchant shop on free time.
Till now woden worked his ass of at various places and found information on what is going on the central continent of the Reinfield and found the reason for the poor condition of the villages.
Since Den Reinfield cannot become King due to him being a high priest he placed a puppet king from the high noble family named ‘Sull Cali’. After that they started to send soldiers to wage war against the Demon continent but were defeated. Out of goodwill towards the previous King of Reinfield the Demon Emperor ‘Reija DragSal’ left the soldiers only with the warning that the next time they will be devoured.
Because of this is humiliation, the kingdoms name was tarnished and also the tax was heighten to compensate the money used in war. Many people left for various countries for settlement and other kingdoms in the human continent severed their ties with Reinfield.
The noble family who supported Grey Reinfield are either sold as slaves or killed of being traitor towards the temple and the kingdom. Many countries stopped accepting people from Reinfield due to over population and also caution toward the actions led by Reinfield during the usurp of throne. Since nowhere people are leading devastated life.
From collecting all these information woden thought of his mother’s request to bring peace to the kingdom. But Woden needs army and various supports from various people to do this. So woden thought to travel from the forest at the when attains age 12.
The next day after his birthday
Woden:”Now let’s pack few things needed for travelling and devise a plan to over throw the kingdom. [After few minutes of thinking, he thought of a plan. First become famous from each and every country and get audience with the kings of other kingdom and draft an army to over throw the kingdom and become king.] Well easier said than done”
Woden:”Jack, Jack ”
Calling his pet tyron
Woden:”We will cross the hill so I could cross the border. Jack you must take me to other side of the hill and once it is done protect my house”
While giving orders to his pet woden covered the entire cave using earth magic and closed so that no one will find the place except for him. With a small bag of clothes and few copper, silver and gold coins and duplicated status card which hides original wodens information and with two iron blades in the hip woden climbed on the back of jack and started to travel to Tenri Kingdom by crossing the hill.
After crossing the hill, woden ordered jack to protect the place. He left walking the grassland before him
In the smell of a new adventure.
