We took on a new request that was pinned up on the noticeboard which was to investigate a new dungeon that appeared near Carn village which was by the sea. Carn village is a popular place for a vacation since it was by the seaside and had very good food.
While on our way to the village, night soon fell and we setup a campsite to wrap up for the night and to continue the trek to the village in the morning. We all slept near the campfire that we made and woke up early in the morning. We were preparing to pack up before continuing to the village when a bloodcurdling scream pierced through the morning sky.
"Shit, what was that? Ready your weapons quickly." I rushed my party members as we soon heard footsteps approaching us.
"Bro, are you going to use your aethar spells?" my brother, Rick asked me.
"It depends on what or whom we are fighting against." I replied back.
The footsteps soon became closer before a girl jumped out of the bush in front of us and running behind us. At first I thought it was a celestial since that flowing white hair behind her caught my eyes but the fact that her wings weren't visible contradicted my thoughts. I have to say her beauty would put many women to shame when she would grow up completely.
She screamed out a language that I didn't recognize when she ran behind us. Chasing her was a pack of hellhounds with the alpha looking so angry. I had personally never seen one this angry since usually they would think of humans or anything they were chasing as prey.
"Quick! Protect her!" I quickly shouted as I readied my sword against the hellhounds. I would not be requiring to use my aethar spells since hellhounds could be taken care of easily by us.
"Distract them! I will attack with my fireballs." Lily interjected before starting charge up her wand. Her wand allowed one of her spell to be cast without chanting which would speed up the charging process.
Then the alpha did something unexpected. It jumped over us before rushing towards the girl. I was going to rush to help her when the rest of the pack attacked. We quickly took care of the hellhounds after Lily had charged up finished which allowed her to rapid fire her fireballs at them.
We went to help the girl after finishing off the last one and to my surprise, the girl wasn't injured at all while the alpha only looked more angry. When the alpha noticed us coming, it took off into the wilderness. I took a closer look at the girl and her skin was very pale without a single blemish or a scar on her. She looked just like a doll.
"Are you okay?" Lily asked her while squatting down beside her since the girl just sat down after the alpha took off.
"Who are you?" I asked her while pointing at her in case she didn't understand my language. She replied back to me in her unknown language again before standing up and walking over to the fire to sit near it.
We tried to communicate with her for a good amount of time before we gave up. When Josh insulted her, the mysterious girl replied back to us in our own language with such fluidity that if I had not known that she was trying to talk to us in a different language first, I would have thought that she was a citizen of our country. Her voice was also very silvery and enchanting that I could listen to her all day.
While we were talking about a topic on the hellhound's mana, the girl asked a very weird question. She asked what mana was. I had no idea there was people in this place that didn't even know what mana was. After explaining to her what it was, we found out her name was Shina and it seemed that she lost her memories.
What I was curious about was her hair color. I knew that only celestials had white hair. Maybe she is a half? If she is, she could be the key to helping us prepare against the demons for the upcoming war.
At first, I pitied her and wanted to help her but later I grew suspicious. She had said that she lost her memories and yet, she mentioned that her clothes were a memento from her mother. Her story doesn't match up. The fact that she had white hair made me even more suspicious. Maybe she is a celestial that is testing whether the humankind is worth helping since they are known to hate demons as well. The others didn't realize that her story was not adding up.
I am going to have to keep a close eye on her and if she is testing us, I will try to impress her with everything I can.

"Hey Nano, find information on the village I am at currently." I asked her through the link.
"Long time no talk Shina, and for the information you requested, the village is currently called ARE YOU AN IDIOT?" Nano suddenly shrieked into the link making me jump on the way to the inn, causing strangers to look in my direction.
"Why are you suddenly screaming and calling me an idiot?" I complained as I felt a headache going through my head or more like my fake head.
"I can't believe my original is this stupid!" Nano continued to insult me.
"What about you!? You dumb tsundere!" I retaliated back at her. I was starting to get pissed off since she wasn't answering my original question.
"What?! I...I am not a tsundere! And for the record, is there an internet for me to hack into to know the information for the village?!" Nano shrieked through the link.
"Internet? Oh right. I eh sorry I guess? Teehe~" I said while sending her a virtual image of me tilting my head to one side while hitting my head with a fist with my tongue sticking out at the corner of my mouth.
"You...You! Baka!" Nano spluttered while sending me a virtual image of her spanking my butt.
"......."
".........."
"Let's pretend that never happened." Nano stressed before cutting off the connection.
"She must be going through puberty." I concluded even though I knew that it was not the correct answer.
"Hurry up Shina, you are lagging behind the rest!" Lily called out to me as I was distracted by Nano's behavior.
I increased my walking speed and caught up to the group before stopping outside a stone hut that is 3 floors high. There was a sign that read 'Lonely Boar'.
"Welcome to the best inn in the village, the lonely boar!" Josh cried out before entering, followed by the rest.
The flooring inside the inn was wooden while the walls were made from stones and rocks. There is many round tables and chairs with a counter at the back with a small door leading to the kitchen I presumed. Stairs at the side to go up the floor as well.
We took a table in the middle of the inn and all 5 of us sat down around it. "How was your trip to the capital city and what do you want to eat?" an old looking waiter came and asked us.
"Give us the usual Tom and nothing much happened there and we took a request from the guild." Rick replied back.
"A request near here eh, investigating that new dungeon I suppose?" Tom replied back.
"You figured it out you crafty old man." Rick laughed with Tom.
"67 is not old yet." Tom joked. "And what about you?" Tom asked while looking at me.
"I won't be ordering any food today." I replied back.
"What! You have to eat your food if not you won't grow!" Lily exclaimed before turning to Tom. "Please give her today's special! I will be paying for it."
"Are you sure? Today's special might be too much for the young miss over here." Tom mused.
"It's okay, if she can't finish it, I will!" Lily assured.
"Hey! What about my opinion! Don't I have a say in this?" I interrupted. I don't have to eat since I am basically not alive. I can consume food and convert it to energy but it's such a drag to do it.
"Nope!" Lily chirped before picking me up and placing me on her lap.
With that, the old man walked off into the kitchen. "Onee-chan, what are you investigating?" I asked since I was curious what this whole dungeon thing was about.
"We are investigating a newly formed dungeon that appeared. We will be checking whether it is too dangerous to let it live." Lily answered while hugging me.
"Let it live? Dungeons are alive?" I asked confused.
"Yup! Dungeon cores to be more exact actually. They will expand their dungeons while spawning monsters inside them and treasures to lure people in."
"Can I go with you onee-chan?" I pleaded with my best puppy eyes I could muster.
"But it's dangerous!" Lily tried to resist. "Fin...fine, as long as you stay close to us."

While waiting for the food, the rest chatted away while I sat there just listening to their conversations and the surrounding as well.
"Here's your food!" Tom came out while pushing a food trolley stacked with food. Tom placed a plate of what looks like a cut of steak on Rick and Nick place while Lily got what looks like a slice of salmon. Josh was already digging into his food which was a boar's head.
"Well little miss, here's yours." Tom smirked as he placed a plate bigger than the rest and was covered with a metal bowl. "Not sure if you can handle this though." Tom laughed before going back to his kitchen.
I lifted the metal bowl and I was astounded. A huge lobster that is about a meter long was in front of me. How am I suppose to finish this if I was actually a normal human?!
"Don't worry Shina, if you can't finish it, I will help you with it." Lily tried to assure me noticing my shocked expression.
Tom had already gone back to his counter and had started smirking at me as I took a glance at me. Damn human, I will show you that this amount of food is nothing and with my newfound determination, I started digging into the lobster. I grabbed it with my bare hands without any utensils and started biting into it and swallowing it without even chewing.
"Slo...slow down Shina! The food won't run away you know." Lily reassured.
Without minding her, I continued eating the lobster until there was no remains. When I finished, the others still had no finished eating and was staring at me with a open mouth. Tom had a similar expression to them. Take that you insignificant human but I have to say that this tasted delicious although this is the first time I ate cooked food.
"Ho..how can all that food fit in your stomach?!" Josh asked while being surprised.
"Well. I was hungry so maybe that's why?" I replied, feigning ignorance.
As we were getting up from our table, the hood I was wearing snagged on something which caused it to expose my hair. A collective gasp was heard throughout the inn.
"Shit, Shina quickly go upstairs and to your room. Lily will be with you." Rick quickly said before pushing me towards the stairs. "And Josh, inform your old man that we won't be able to have a meeting tonight."
"Right." Josh replied and ran out of the inn.
I also noticed two shady looking men were staring at me from the corner of the inn. I should give them a visit soon.
Lily guided me into a room and quickly closed the door behind her. "That was bad luck exposing your hair." Lily said.
"Really? What harm can that do." I asked.
"There will be bad people that might come after you so you have to stay close to us alright?" Lily responded.
"Okay Lily onee-chan."
"We will have to sleep together since there is only one bed." Lily said with a smile.
"Uh okay Lily onee-chan."

"Did you see that girl with white hair boss?" one of the shady man said.
"That's not something you see everyday. Legend says that only celestials have white hair." another man replied back.
"Do you really think she is one though?"
"Who knows but I heard that many of the kingdoms are in disarray and seems to be searching for something."
"This can't be a coincidence don't you think?"
"Let's catch her. I smell profit from this."
"What if she is powerful?"
"Are you kidding me? She looks like a kid. Even if she isn't a celestial, she would fetch us a pretty solid price for selling her as a slave."
"Let's hope for the best then.

It is about midnight and everyone is probably asleep right now. The elder wants to meet tomorrow since we could not meet him today. Since I am not even an organic being, I don't really require sleep so I slowly wormed my way out of Lily's hug and went downstairs.
I went out since nobody was downstairs. The area outside was dark and there no no external light source except from the moon. There is no properly made street since it is just a village after all. Just dirt everywhere on the floor.
I decided to take a stroll through the village before going into the forest.
"Nano, you there?" I asked after connecting to the network link.
"Surely you jest? I don't have to sleep like humans you know." she replied back. "So why did you contact me?"
"Can't I contact my lover?" I joked as I was strolling through the forest, perfectly aware that there was 2 pest following me.
"Lov...lover!?" Nano stuttered.
"It was a joke! Calm down. Besides I was contacting you since I was bored." I hastily said.
"It was just a joke? Haha, that's right, just a joke." Nano said dejectedly.
"Why are you so sad about? I won't do it again alright?" I tried to assure her. "Give me a moment, I got pests to take care of."
"Hey there little girl, where are you going so late in the night?" one of the shady men I recognized from back then in the inn leered at me.
Time to use my scared girl act now right? "Wh..who are yo..you?" I stammered while walking back slowly.
"Hehehe don't be scared little girl, just come with us and me and my friend here will show you something cool." the shady man said while grinning creepily and walking towards me with one more shady man behind.
"Plea...please don't hu...hurt me!" I spluttered while falling down on my butt.
"Don't worry, we won't hurt you after all, you are our precious." the shady man spoke before grabbing my arm.
"Boss, should we have some fun with her first? I mean it would be a waste to let such a cute beauty sold off." the man behind whispered into the man's ear although I could hear it since I my hearing is superior to humans.
"Hehe I agree with you." the boss said before smiling lewdly at me.
I watched enough human shows to know where this is going. Should I try and experience it since it could be a useful learning experience.
"Hey Nano, should I try being raped?" I asked through the link once more.
"WHAT! DON'T YOU DARE GET RAPED OR I WILL BLAST THE AREA AROUND YOU TO SMITHEREENS SINCE I CAN TRACK YOUR UNION CORE LOCATION!" Nano yelled with anger.
"Jeez, no need to be so angry over such a small matter you know." I conceded.
"Sorry guys but I will have to refuse your offers." I said to the man grabbing my arm. I stood up and shoved him.
"Argh!" the man yelled in pain as he went falling into a tree.
"BOSS! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!" the other man yelled before charging towards me with a small dagger.
The man ran towards me and slashed the dagger down my chest but was repelled by my passive klein field. Seems like my saturation level did not increase it all. How weak and pathetic. Klein field is mostly used for defensive purposes but it can be used by mental models for offensive purposes as well. Mental models can use the klein field and project it outwards and crush what target. It has enough force to crush a tank with ease as well.
"Impossible! This dagger is suppose to be able to ignore any mana being used as a barrier!" the man shouted in surprise before backing away form me slowly.
I made the klein field appear above the man before smashing it downwards towards the man's head. The man's head smashed into where his neck was and continued going into his body. The man's body exploded as the klein field smashed the man into the ground. Bones were sticking out of the mangled mass.
Blood splatters were repelled by my klein field so none got on me. Now, time for the other guy. I looked around and spotted him crawling away slowly.
"Where are you going? Didn't you want to have some fun with me?" I jested as the man stared at me in terror after seeing his subordinates body.
"Le..let me liv...live please." the man begged me as I walked towards him.
"Hmmmm, how about no." I sang before giving him the same fate as the other man.
Will you look at this mass. After studying the remains, I concluded that the humans from this world have similar biology except that the humans from this world have one extra organ that I am not sure what it does.
Well, time to go back to the inn now to avoid suspicions.
