The spatial shock waves released by the klein field discharging swept across the globe, allowing sensitive spatial mages and other certain lifeforms to detect it. The strength of the spatial shock wave released is by far, the strongest any has ever felt before. The dragons were sent into a frenzy as they are very sensitive to any changes that happened on the planet.
The ruler of dragons immediately sent one of his most trusted scout to investigate the source of the shock wave before other species could. What happened to the scout surprised the emperor and many high ranking dragons. The scout and the emperor was communicating through telepathy when the scout got cut off the connection.
There was 3 possibilities that might have happened to the scout to cause him to lose connection. First is that a strong barrier is stopping long distance telepathy. Second is that the scout was knocked out and finally, death. The scout the emperor sent was a very high ranking wind attribute dragon which excelled in speed and of course scouting.
"Emperor, I believe that the scout has encountered some sort of barrier which does not allow communication." a man with horns protruding from his temple said to the emperor that was sitting on his throne in his human form.
"Is there not the possibility that the scout could have been killed?" one of them asked who was sitting with the man around a large round table.
"Preposterous! Such blasphemy! I should have your head for this!" the man stood up with anger in his voice.
"Sit down Zaiross. He was just making a suggestion." the emperor spoke out, his voice echoing around the room.
"But to claim that the mighty dragon race could have been killed even before sending back any sort of report is ridiculous! We are the strongest species on the planet!" Zaiross protested while still standing up.
"Sit down already you muscle head, the emperor said it didn't he?" a feminine voice spoke out.
"Tch!" and with that, Zaiross sat back down.
"Thanks for your help Akroma although it was not needed. the emperor mused.
"It's a honor to be able to help your majesty." Akroma snickered.
"My opinion is that the scout is now dead since if a being is able to produce such a massive spatial shock wave like that, it most likely have the power to kill even a highly trained scout swiftly." the emperor finally declared.
"So what should we do about it?" Akroma asked while looking bored with the meeting already.
"Isn't it obvious? We should go in and eliminate the threat immediately!" Zaiross snarled as he suggested his plan.
"Well that's a terrible plan you know Zaiross. I know that you fire attributes love to charge head first into danger but now is not the time to do that. We don't know what it's weakness is. Let alone what it even looks like." another voice said.
"Then what's your so called plan then Eludia." Zaiross retaliated to a young looking girl whose head was barely above the table.
"First we wait and see what it does. Gather information and find it's weakness obviously. Didn't I already hinted what the plan was going to be?" Eludia jested as Zaiross could be seen getting angrier and angrier every second.
"Calm down Zaiross. We will follow Eludia's plan this time." the emperor said before standing up. "This meeting is adjourned." he declared before walking out of the room.
"Tch you guys are idiots to think that whatever released that shock wave would do nothing and wait for us." Zaiross snarled before stomping out of the room.
"Things are finally going to become interesting." Akroma yawned before walking out.

"Achoo!" I sneezed as me and Nano was watching the sun set.
"How did you even sneeze? I am pretty certain you don't have a sneezing simulator installed on your mental model." Nano asked while looking amused.
"Someone was talking behind my back." I replied back while rubbing my nose. "Well at least that's what humans believed in."
"Such a ridiculous thing to believe in. Humans are truly foolish sometimes." Nano snorted as she started swinging her legs above the edge of the top of the super structure.
"Don't forget that we acquired mental models so we could use the so called tactics humans used in the war against us even though their weapons could never penetrate the klein field." I pointed out to her.
"On the bright side, seems like the scout planes are coming back to the ship. Looks like each of them circled the planet already." I said while standing up. "After the jets are back into their hanger, I am going to start submerging since the glowing lines can be seen from far away in the dark." I continued.
"Finally we are going underwater!" Nano exclaimed excitedly before standing up as well.
After waiting a few more minutes I could feel the klein field generator connecting to the klein field connector on board the jets. The jets arrived back and started landing while I decreased the speed of the ship to 30 knots.
"This is the data compressed from all the 6 jets together." I said while holding up a datapad. A hologram appeared above it and showed a globe. "The size of this world is about one third the size of Earth while managing to maintain the same gravitational pull. There seems to be 2 super continent at the opposite ends of each other and we seems to be close to one of them." I continued.
"Let's go then!" Nano exclaimed while jumping up and down excitedly. "Being able to visit another world like this is amazing!"
"Let's submerge first shall we? Deactivate graviton floats and take us to the depth of 300 meters." I ordered. The ship groaned and started submerging slowly. Trying to make a big ship go underwater is not exactly quick since it displaces a ton of water. As we started going underwater, we placed a veil of klein field around ourselves as well to be able to talk underwater. The jets were taken back down towards the hanger with the platform lowering and the flight deck reformatted back into it's original triple gun turret.
"We should increase klein field output to 50 percent. We cannot use photon cannons and launch missiles from the vertical launching system. Our only weapons would be the super graviton cannon and torpedoes launched from the 8 torpedo tubes in the front, 12 on each side along the side of the hull and 6 behind." Nano recommended as the ship slowly went lower and lower into the depths.
"Agreed. Increasing sonar sensitivity as well." I replied back before the ship reached the intended depth. "Maximum speed underwater is only 40 knots which is half the speed on the surface. This ship was not meant to go underwater after all."
"Course corrected towards the nearest continent. Estimated arrival about 8 hours underwater and 4 hours on the surface." Nano said while looking around at the scenery with fishes swimming about. "Well the fishes looks similar to the ones on Earth at least rather than that overgrown lizard with wings." Nano mused.
"By the way, there seems to be a floating continent as well about the size of Australia floating near the stratosphere." I added in.
"Can't believe you missed out such a important detail. You really are ditzy aren't you?" Nano exasperated.
"Says the one stuttering by herself." I retaliated while smirking.
"Hmph!" Nano huffed while turning away.
"What a unique personality she has even though we are technically from the same core." I thought to myself. "Don't be angry, I won't do it again." I reassured.
"Promise?" Nano asked with puppy eyes.
"I promise." I said while doing a pinky promise with her.
The next 8 hours past by uneventfully before the continent came into view. The ship was still underwater and about 20 kilometers away but with the help of a makeshift periscope and advance zooming capabilities in our eyes, we could pick out details from the shore.
There seems to be many wooden huts near the shore with a wooden dock. Many rowboats were tied to it with some bigger sail boats as well. According to the data posted on the joint tactical network before I got disconnected from it, this would probably be a fishing village since they looked similar to the ones from the history of mankind from Earth.

"There seems to be no electricity running through the village since there doesn't seems to be any source of light coming from the village except a large bonfire even though it should now be about 3 am for them." I noted as I continued to observe the village. "No signs of life visible. Seems like they are all sleeping right now."
"Should we give them a visit?" Nano asked while observing as well.
"Let's wait for morning before approaching them. Approaching at night would make us look suspicious." I replied back. "We will anchor the ship at the ocean floor here which is at the depth of 500 meters and walk towards the shore far away from the village to avoid suspicion." I continued.
"A plan that makes sense coming out from you?" Nano asked incredulously.
"I make good plans just to let you know." I defended "And we should start making our to the shore now since it is going to take time walking 20 kilometers."
"Walking 20 kilometers! That's going to take about 5 hours!" Nano protested while walking back slowly. "I think I am feeling sick today so I will be staying on the ship."
"So mean! Abandoning me when I need you the most." I pouted while pretending to look slightly down and dejectedly.
"I will be waiting to welcome you home so see you soon!" Nano said before running off into the ship.
"Not like I need her anyway." I mumbled to myself before jumping off from the deck and onto the ocean floor. The ship started going down with me until the ship gently hit the ocean floor.
I started my long 20 kilometer hike through the ocean floor, crawling over corals that towered at least 6 meters high and avoiding any big animal in the distance. Hours past and I had walked at least 10 kilometers towards my destination.
"Enjoying your hike Shina?" Nano asked with a sympathetic sounding voice.
"Of course my dear Nano. You could have enjoyed this wonderful and exhilarating hike with me and you will enjoy it with me next time." I said in a that sent shivers down Nano's spine. "Oh and soon, we will be out of range with using the mental connection we have and we will have to change to quantum communication to be able to talk over a long distance."
"Why didn't we use it in the first place then?" Nano asked with a confused voice.
"There are downsides to it. Firstly, other fog ships if there is in this world would be able to know immediately if the quantum communication is being used. Secondly, well that's the only downside actually. Using mental connection to talk won't be able to be detected by other ships although the range is short." I explained.
"I doubt there is other fog ships like us in the vicinity, let alone the whole planet so let's try using it." Nano interjected while sounding excited.
"Activating quantum communication link." I informed Nano. "Establishing link. Link confirmed."
"Ah-hem. Testing testing. Can you hear me Nano?" I asked through the newly established quantum link I made with her.
"Wow! Chatting through this new link feels so much more clearer than the mental connection!" Nano exclaimed
"Of course it is since it is a state of the art communication system in the fog." I replied back with a bit of pride in my voice. "I will also be granting you access to 95 percent of the ship's systems."
"So you don't fully trust me yet I guess since you left out that 5 percent." Nano sighed while talking through the link.
"When I am able to trust you 100 percent then will I allow you full access." I said in a comforting tone.
"And pigs will fly." Nano responded bitterly before becoming unresponsive.
"No need to sulk you know. Hello? You there?" I said but was no responds.
Sighing, I continued my long trek through the ocean. As I got closer to the shore, the ground started sloping upwards towards the surface of the ocean. The number of marine wildlife started diminishing noticeably as I continued on.
Soon, the sun started rising from the horizon and sending daylight through the surface of the water and onto the ocean floor. "Should be about 6 am now." I muttered to myself before stepping out of the water.
"Arrived 3 hours earlier than expected" I mused before walking out of the water. My clothes were completely dry since the klein field around me kept the water from touching me directly.
After walking out of the water, I observed my surroundings. In front of me was a huge expanse of trees which seemed to stretched on for a eternity. "Guess I will be walking through here next."
"So.....did you reach?" a voice sounded through my head as the link established once more.
"Did you calm down already?" I asked in an amused voice.
"It was ju...just getting boring alone here!" Nano replied while sounding flustered.
"Sure sure." I replied back in a smug voice. "Oh and yes I arrived to answer your question which was an attempt to start a conversation with me."
"It....it was not an attempt!" Nano yelled while still sounding flustered. "And I still haven't forgiven you yet!" Nano continued with a flustered voice.
"I am sorry.... am I forgiven now?" I joked.
"No!" Nano yelled.
"No need to get angsty now." I continued joking.
No responds came. "Sigh.... what a tsundere she is." I thought to myself before trekking into the forest.
There was no path ways leading to the village but I had already marked the location it was on a map in my head. The village was at least 14 kilometers away. Before heading straight for the village, I decided to wander around for a bit and explore the new scenery for my eyes.
"Hmmm, so this is what is feels like to be in a forest." I muttered to myself as I took in deep breaths of leafy smell and faint smell of wet animal fur. This is my first time on land after all. The ground was littered with many dead branches which cracked and crunched when I stepped on them.
"Activating inbuilt radar system." I activated. The map in my head showed a large radius around me as I activated it. The range of the radar is 500 meters. The range may be short but the accuracy and reliability of it was very high. It was already making a mental image of the forest in my head, giving me a 360 view except that it only showed the shape and not the details or colors of the surroundings.
I continued my way towards the village while frequently stopping to examine a plant or a tree. There was still no signs of animals around me. At the edge of my radar, I detected several moving objects. Being curious, I went closer to take a look. As I got closer, humanoid shapes began taking shape in my head from the radar.
I peeked out from a bush and saw a group of humans around a huge fire. I noted that their attires were very crudely made with hands and not with machines. Their weapons could be seen hanging from a poorly made belt with a sheath on it. Probably a sword.
"Poorly made clothes, pathetic weapons. I see this world must have very low technological advancement." I thought as I continued observing them. There are currently 4 humans around the fire. One is a female while the rest are males.
I detected another group of moving shapes creeping in closer towards the gathered humans. As the moving shapes got within 300 meters, their shapes took on the shape of a pack of wolves. About 7 of them were coming.
"According to my logic plug in installed on me, I should somehow take advantage of this situation." A small grin appeared on my face as a plan formulated in my head to use the wolves to somehow integrate me into the humans easily without looking suspicious.
