Double Release!!

After a quarter of an hour, while Fang Hao was still practicing the Divine Vajra Body Scripture while regularly drinking spirit wine, a Qi Vortex was forming in his dantian. Under the immense pressure, Most of the Qi had turned denser. It was still gaseous, but it was less illusory and more substantial like dense fog. His attempt at forming the first seal had reached a crucial step as he continued drinking the spirit wine. It was almost an hour since he had begun and he had finished nearly half a jug of the wine.

The Qi vortex and his slow drunken movements in the restrictive pressure suddenly reached a tipping point. The vortex raged more fiercely of its own volition and strands of Qi merged with his blood. Fang Hao who was in a sloshed state of inebriation suddenly felt his head clear and a stinging pain through his blood vessels. The potent Qi from all the spirit liquor he had ingested was unable to condense in his dantian into a liquid state without any guidance from an appropriate Qi Manual, so it had flowed into his blood under the influence of his ensemble, transforming his fleshly body.

He kept on drinking more and more spirit liquor and built up the pressure in his dantian and inturn, his blood was surging. He felt as if his blood was like boiling soup as reddish black steam emanated from all his pores. The pain was intense, yet he knew that he had to surge forth with all his might. Only a quarter of the spirit wine was left. Fang Hao simultaneously moved under the restrictive influence of the scripture while drinking the spirit wine remaining bottoms up.

A new surge of Qi gathered in the dantian, if the earlier streams were like trickles of Qi…this was like a torrential river. For the first time, he felt an intense ache in his dantian. His dantian was not ready for the humongous amount of Qi and had was on the verge of shattering. Fang Hao was too rash with his latest move. A mere Qi gathering Disciple couldn’t hope to assimilate so much Qi from spirit liquor in a few short breaths.

But his circumstances were not ordinary. He felt the ensemble click into place as he rapidly increased the tempo of his movements and chanting. He now looked like a sizzling meatball on the verge of burning. His movements occasionally blurred as reddish black steam being released from all his pores intensified. All his blood vessels were like writhing snakes under his skin, twisting and turning as blood infused with rich Qi circulated through them. The potency of the Qi in his blood increased rapidly and with every heartbeat the magma like Qi infused blood circulated his fleshly body.

While he was close, Fang Hao felt that he was still missing the last push for successfully forming the first seal. Through the intense pain and hazy red-black fog, he guided the movements of his ensemble to near the sack of fasting pills. Without hesitating, he kicked the sack in air, caught it with one hand and tossed a fistful of pills to his mouth with the other. A few dozen pills entered the fatty’s mouth as he crushed and swallowed them. He didn’t stop swallowing the pills and in a few breath had swallowed more than third of his savings, almost two hundred fasting pills.

While the fasting pills were insignificant individually, more than 200 of them gave a reasonable surge of Qi which flowed into his blood. He continued the ensemble and swallowed the fasting pills non-stop. He had barely 50 pills or so remaining as he felt his blood turn into a hot sludge like substance which felt like molten magma. A reddish-black liquid was excreted from his seven orifices (2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 nostrils and 1 mouth) as his head felt as if he was about to explode. His magma like blood was drilling through all his bones and forced all the marrow out, which flowed with his blood.

A portion of the condensed blood writhed under his forehead and a wriggling coin sized insignia could be seen near his glabella. Fang Hao endured the torturous changes and continued the ensemble while the Qi Vortex in his dantian rapidly lost steam. The condensed coin sized wriggling insignia retreated into his skull and snaked his way to his upper dantian. Fang Hao felt a refreshing coolness flow from his the center of his brain as the black blood flowing from his seven orifices stopped flowing.

Fang Hao was exhausted physically, mentally and spiritually from his ordeal and wanted nothing better than to sleep immediately. However, he refrained himself from doing so. He grabbed the pitiful amount of fasting pills and the empty wooden jug and entered his cottage. He unceremoniously dumped them and went into the bathroom thoroughly washing all the filth from his body.

This black blood was all the impurities from his body and it was crucial to cleanse them as soon as possible. It would be a colossal fuck up if he allowed the impurities to reintegrate into his body due to feeling of exhaustion and laziness. This was the reason that he dragged himself into his a bathroom and cleansed himself. Having cleansed himself he wore a fresh pair of his outer disciple robes as he went to sleep, almost immediately.

He again dreamed a vivid-lifelike dream where the old monk was dancing with the profound steps of the Divine Vajra Body Scripture. His body was partially illusionary as sliver streams of Qi flowed in a fascinating pattern through his meridians. Fang Hao was entranced by it and paid extremely close attention to it. After what seemed like hours, the old monk’s illusory phantom disappeared from his dreamscape as he heard the old monk’s voice echoed in his consciousness.

“So you have formed the 1st seal and mastered the first fragment of the scripture. Well done, but this is just the beginning, I pass on to you the next fragment. How powerful the seal you condensed and its nature depends on your luck and insight. Work hard, and don’t lose my face prospective disciple.”
