After the Alignment was complete, the time period between that event and the following major era, the Lingering Era, was called the Downfall Period.
As the Unholy Retribution (Deadly substance) had disappeared altogether and it was apparent at that point that the lands were moving, the Lingerians devised a plan.
They crafted large boats with their advanced technology and they planned to go to whatever place that their land was moving towards. The mission would take a long time, but it was deemed necessary, as their economy had met a crisis. Their civil wars had lead to their basic materials, foods and resources to dwindle. Also, as they had an insane army, they could defeat easily anyone that stood against them.
Their first attempt was met with utter failure. The distance the boat had to cover was so long that the Lingerians never made it to the other side. They even tried to send a bottled letter. But the waves didn't make the transportation possible. The tide was against the bottle's return, thus it never made it back to inform them.
For many years, the Lingerians back in their land experienced a food crisis. The few individuals that owned the farms took control over a huge area of the Lingering World and had absolute power. They acquired the Angelic Veils by force from the previous bearers.
What saved them was an accidental invention made by the bearer of an Angelic veil from an area called Asbell. That individual discovered that the Holy Energy of the Veils could be used as an energy source. His name was Jahln, the 8th bearer of the "Irregular" Veil.
Everyone was amazed by that invention. They all praised him as their savior. The prideful, Jahln He took on the lead and guided the lingerians to their bright future. Everyone had high respect for him, as they saw him as a hyper genius leader.
His efforts didn't stop there, however. He also told them to use that potent energy source as fuel for the new boats he would later create. He told them to abandon their hopes for those in the first expedition and start a new one. A successful one this time. He told them that they would encounter enemies on the way, but they would beat them all and gain all the resources they needed for their economical development.
And so they did. They soon created larger boats and used the Holy Energy specifically from The Angel of Holy Energy herself, Ween. With the Holy Energy, they powered up 3 large fast spinning fans, that they used to accelerate the boats.
They finally saw a new land on the horizon. It was as Jahln had said. There were people living there, whose technological advancements were inferior to the Lingerians. And so, they did as they were told by Jahln. They fought the people of that race, the Humans, in a long War.
The Humans had number advantage as they preceded the Lingerians chronologically but were far behind in technological advancements.
The Second War of the Worlds that broke out ended with the Lingerians victorious. The victors enjoyed the spoils and were about to return to their homeland as "heroes". Seeing how on point was everything that Jahln had said, suspicions arose around his so called "Irregular" Angelic Veil, whose powers could not be identified. Some thought it had the power of intelligence, seeing how smart the bearer, Jahln, was.
Revolutionary changes then came to the lingering World, after the victors had returned from the War with the Humans. Winning the War meant that the need for farms had been completely erased, because they had plenty resources to consume. Therefore, the previous owners of the Angelic Veils were steadily losing a portion of their power.
Contrary to them, another group of Lingerians that had participated in the War had accumulated such power from the loot they kept for themselves, that 200 years later, they were able to overthrow the current Bearers and establish new order in the Lingering World.
Even though he knew this was gonna happen, Jahln couldn't do anything about it. The Angelic Veils were taken from these once powerful farm owners and a new era of the Lingering World came that was called, the Lingering Era.
The Angels in this era were:
1) Ween (female), the Angel of Holy Energy.
2) Selde (female), the Angel Protector
3) Melen (male), the Mighty Angel and lastly
4) Zein (male), the Angel of the Irregular Veil.
Zein's title however was soon to change. That's because the previous owner of the "Irregular" Veil, Jahln, actually managed to understand its ability one day. Instead of making this discovery public, he decided to capitalize on this insane newfound power.
This Lingerian who was respected as the most intelligent leader of all time, Jahln, was not a genius at all. He was just a know-it-all, literally speaking.
When he became the new bearer, Zein discovered that the power of the Irregular Veil was that of Omniscience. He publicized this information and a few days later Jahln was executed for concealing important information from the regime. Zein's title changed to the Omniscient Archangel and from that point he became the true leader of the Lingering World.
And that settled the 4 new Angels of the Lingering Era, a time period described by a bright future, unity and prosperity. In this time period, the advancements had exceeded whatever was seen before. By using the Holy Energy as an energy source and with so many resources they had gathered from their victorious war with the Humans, the changes were great. Science, Medicine and Technology had tremendous developments. Guns were created, cures to deadly illnesses were found and their understanding of the World had expanded immensely.
Zein made way for outstanding discoveries and by using his ability of omniscience, he wanted to create a land worthy of being called a Holyground. He participated in the foundation of many awe-strucking sites and buildings in the Lingering World's capital, Saintdom, a city that he named after his will to make it that utopia he had in mind.
Years and years passed, yet the Lingering World stood strong to the passage of time. It was as Zein had envisioned. A holyground for everyone. Librarians, musicians, sculptors, scientists, students, teachers... Eveyone had a rightful place in that land and especially in that city named Saintdom. They were all appreciated and given a chance for improvement and self growth. Zein brought Unity to this World and unending grace.
No matter how many years would pass, the end of Zein's role as an Angel wouldn't change and he was well aware of it. In other words, he knew when and how his omniscience was going to end. Nevertheless, he was satisfied with it. So, he kept on doing his best for the sake of that world, that "Holyground" he had envisioned, before his "career" was over.

At some point, the 2 Angels, Selde and Melen had fallen in love with each other. Later, Selde gave birth to 2 children, both girls. Their names were Yulim and Kallian. Selde and Melen raised their children till the age of 20 and then they decided to pass them over their Angelic Veils. Yulim became the new Mighty Angel and Kallian the new Angel Protector.
As of the other 2 Angelic Veils, it took them quite some time before bonding with a new bearer.
The Angel of Holy Energy, Keen, had married a rich man named Dane. Dane loved his wife very much, but the feeling was not mutual. Ween did slightly love him, too, but was more excited about his wealth over his personality.
Nevertheless, they had a single child at some point. The girl Ween gave birth to was named Ramael. Ramael grew up in an unhealthy environment. Her mother cared only about the money she had gained from her marriage. She just stuck to her obligations as a mother and offered only the most basic things for Ramael to grow up.
She cooked delicious dishes, taught her basic things like grammar and mathematics and nothing more. It was apparent that even that, she did out of pure obligation. She didn't put any love into her time spent with the little Ramael. Ramael offered the feeling of love to her mother which was never reciprocated. An one-sided love, as always.
Ramael's father, Dane, was too busy with work and he'd almost never spend time with his daughter. Dane, did love her, though. He was just unable to make her feel the same.
One day, Dane talked to Ween about passing the Angelic veil over to their daughter, Ramael. Ween laughed at his proposal and said that she'd never do such a thing. A quarrel that was going to end with a divorce then followed. Dane questioned his wife's answer and was really mad at her. "Don't you love our daughter, Ween?!" "You married me only for the money?!" and "You selfish, whore!" were a few of his statements in that quarrel.
After the divorce, Ween took Ramael to her side. She also threatened Dane that if he dared to come back and see her, she'd kill him for everything he said about her. After the divorce, never before did Ramael feel so lonely. She had no friends, no relatives (except for a few rich dickheads) and no parents to talk to. She could even sense the hatred her mother was developing towards her. Ween treated her like garbage. She made her life unbearable and although Ramael wanted to love her, she wasn't able to do so.
Dane learned about this unacceptable behaviour of hers and he was desperate to do anything in order to help his daughter. Dane paid a visit to their house and tried to meet Ramael again, a privilige he had, protected by the law. But as soon as she opened the door, Ween didn't hesitate to kill him.
Right before she did that however, Ramael asked her mother "Mom, who are you talking to?" That fortunate timing saved Dane's life on the spot. Her mother said "It's no one. Just some random nobody. Right?"
Dane scared for his life took a few steps back and left quickly.
For a few months, he didn't dare to come back. However, seeing the things Ramael had to put up with made Dane overwhelmed by regrets. A rightful man as he was, a flawed but a respectful father, he had a sense of duty that didn't allow him to leave things there. He just had to save Ramael, so that he had the right of being called her father.
The end of that dark age for Ramael, came when Ween was murdered. And the person who killed her was no one else other than Dane himself.
One day Dane made his return to their house. When Ween saw him, she said "Get lost, you scumbag! I said I would kill—"
But Dane caught Ween off guard and instantly shot her with a gun that he had just found the money to buy. Ramael was just in the next room and heard the gunshot. Her father grabbed the Angelic Veil and quickly entered Ramael's room. He said "I'm sorry I was so late, my dear Ramael" and he kissed the top of her head. "I've done terrible things... I'm so sorry we couldn't play together. You deserved much much more, yet I..."
He then gave her the Angelic Veil and continued "Take this as a parting gift. Take good care of it, Ramael. And with it, move on and change the future. I hope that in that future... You will find a better life..."
After 20 seconds had passed, the Angelic Bond was established and Ramael blacked out for a moment. After she came around, Dane was nowhere to be found. She walked to the next room and saw Ween's dead body. Even though she shouldn't, she cried for a while.
The neighbours had called the police when they first heard the gunshot. The police forced their way in. They saw Ramael crying and her mother's body next to her. The advancements in Biology made it possible to identify the murderer. Dane spent his last days in prison and was unable to see his daughter ever after.
And thus, Ramael became the Angel of Holy Energy.
As for the Angelic Veil of Omniscience, Zein knew that he was going to give it to someone one day out of his own free will. About a year before Ween's death, Zein was going to abandon the title of Omniscient Archangel.
One day he saw two orphans sitting on a bench out in the cold at night. He approached the two siblings to check up on them. They were trying to sleep on that bench as they didn't have a home to return to.
"Hey, you two! What are you doing out here at night? I need to ask you a few things... May I sit down?"
The two siblings stared at him with an expressionless face, as if they'd seen death.
"Don't worry. I'm here to help." said Zein to reassure them.
In response, they made room for him to sit. The man then looked at the stars that illuminated the dark sky. As he was staring at them, he said
"Your parents aren't here, are they?
No answer came from neither the boy or the girl. They both looked down in silence.
"Your name's Sachrist, right?" Zein asked the teenage boy.
"How did you—"
"And your sister's name is Hisami."
"Who are you, sir?"
"You can call me Zein."
"Zein..." said Sachrist to himself. "Why do you want to help us, mr. Zein?"
Zein took a deep breath and said
"It's been a rough time for you and your sister. Your tragic past... I know all about it, Sachrist. But don't worry, I'm here to help. I cannot leave things as is. Sachrist, I am going to save you."
After a small pause, Zein continued talking in an encouraging manner.
"And you, in return, will have to save your sister. Yeah?" he said with a slight grin and held out his hand, waiting for a handshake.
Sachrist said "Thank you..." and grabbed his hand.
His sister, on the other hand, couldn't say anything all this time. She was so shocked that it felt like she wasn't even alive.
"Here, eat this." Zein gave them both a sandwich he had made beforehand. They were dying to eat anything, so they gobbled on them without second thought. After they had eaten them, Sachrist thanked him again.
Zein then took in a deep breath and said
"Sachrist, I want you to take this. I know how strong you are and how much you've been through. With this you will lead the future of this World. This is but a consolation prize for all your suffering. You deserve a brighter future in this wonderful World, don't you agree?"
After saying that, he then covered his Angelic Veil around Sachrist and waved at the siblings. As he was leaving from the scene, he reminded him the following.
"As we said, Sachrist! Save your sister and bring balance to this World! You'll make a wonderful Leader, I'm sure of it. Farewell!"
Sachrist waved back at him.
Twenty seconds after touching the Angelic Veil, he felt this shockwave run through his brain and he passed out. When he woke up, he had the power of omniscience. Unaware of its properties, he accidentally used it. Then, he looked at his sister and cried. The first words that he said as the Omniscient Archangel were "I'm going to save you, Hisami..."
And with that, the 4 last Angels in the times Before Barrier were all present.
1) Ramael, the Angel of Holy Energy
2) Yulim, the Mighty Angel
3) Kallian, the Angel Protector
4) Sachrist, the Omniscient Archangel
Many years had passed since the Alignment by that point in time. The 3 Worlds were really close to converging. And that was what the Omniscient Archangel feared the most...
Sachrist was the one to save everyone from that world collision. After a last victorious war that broke out between the Lingerians and the Demons (where Humanity was easily defeated), Sachrist proposed a plan in order to save the World. And that plan, we all know very well.
And that concludes the story from the Beginning of the Universe until the major event that forever changed the nature of the Worlds, called the Barrier.
