Chapter 6 - Who Are You?

Ragna punched the wall countless times. Every time he hit the wall, his health decreased by a small amount. The penalty was because his current endurance couldn’t match the strain created by the impact.

Therefore, he had to rest after he trained for dozens of times. After he recovered, he started punching the wall again like a madman.

After he repeated the cycle for a few times, he found out that the penalty was somewhat decreased.

At first, he got -1 and -2 for every punch. Then, it became a constant -1. Now he already punched the wall for two times yet the penalty still doesn’t show up.

Maybe, I have developed some kind of immunity. Thank God, it wasn’t useless. He thought.

The truth is, Ragna didn’t really believe the forums. He knew that if there was some sort of a secret to improve one’s ability or power, the one who found it first wouldn’t be stupid enough to share it.

Nevertheless, he had to try it. There was no other option available for him.

Then, after a few hours of tedious wall hitting. Something came up

Ding!

Your endurance has increased by 1

It was like seeing an oasis in a scorching desert. Ragna was elated when he saw the notification screen. Now He was sure that his hard work wasn’t useless.

Ragna kept punching the wall. Unfortunately, for the rest of the night, the notification screen didn’t show up again.

Morning came, Raka removed the helmet from his head. Then, he turned off the black box which acted like a CPU for the set.

He stretched for a bit. He found out that his body condition was very great even though he played all night long. It seemed that the current technology had really improved.

Well, it couldn’t be described as playing since all Raka did was just punching the wall repeatedly.

Raka lazily lay down on the bed, looking at his surrounding. He had finished cleaning and organizing the place.

The room was very clean and neat. There are a few pictures at the table. The first one was him with his uncle’s family, then there was a picture of him having a vacation with his best brothers.

The last picture was a young version of him being hugged by a very beautiful woman beside a handsome looking man. The man had a stern face, but it seemed the smile was really coming from his heart.

Grumble

Raka heard his stomach making some noise. Gotta feed the beast, He thought.

He grabbed his Magne-Bike key and changed his pants into a somewhat less vulgar one. He heard that there was an incredibly delicious porridge not far from his boarding house.

Raka drove his bike for around 15 minutes before arriving at the place. The place was very simple. It was just a stall, painted bright red.

This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author's work.

Raka was surprised to see that even though the place looked simple, it was fully packed with customers. There were people of all ages happily chatting, with college students being the majority.

He ordered the stall’s signature dish. The food came after a few minutes. It was a chicken porridge with fried cake. The smell was intoxicating.

He gulped a mouthful of the porridge. The flavor was truly extraordinary. The mixture of pepper and salts inside the porridge was perfect. The fried cake was a bit soggy after being dipped inside the porridge, but the taste actually was much better than when it was dry. Everything combined perfectly

Raka was drowned in the flavor and quickly gulped down the rest of the porridge.

While he was busy eating the porridge, a black BMW stopped in front of the stall. Then, a bodyguard-like man showed up from the car. He ordered one serving for a takeaway.

Everyone was looking at it with somewhat amazed expression. Looks like even rich people like to eat commoner’s porridge too, huh? They thought.

After a few minutes, the meal was done. It was wrapped in a neat looking package. The bodyguard accepted it and goes straight to the car. The strange thing was that after he entered the car, it didn’t start moving. It just stood there, motionless.

The onlooker was quite confused. It seemed that the moneybags still had some business here.

Few minutes passed, then the backseat door opened. It was a girl, with beautiful and refined features. She had the aura of a noble. It seemed like she lived in the different world compared to others.

She walked gracefully towards the stall. People start noticing her and couldn’t stop staring at her. She was very lovely and pleasing to the eyes. She was still young, maybe about the same age as Raka. No one would dare to imagine how she would look like when she truly matured.

Surprisingly, she didn’t move towards the stall. She was heading towards Raka.

Raka was still gulping the bowl of porridge. Then he realized that there’s someone standing in front of him. He looked up to see the mysterious person.

Raka was taken aback when he saw the girl. She was genuinely beautiful. He wasn’t interested in women and relationships, but this beauty sure was different than any other girls he had met.

Raka was a bit confused when he saw what the beauty was doing. She was just staring at him with a deep gaze.

Then, the beauty opened his mouth and asked.

“Who are you?” her voice was melodious to the point of enchanting.

Raka was confused. He racked his brain but he couldn’t find out who the hell this girl was. It was almost impossible for him to forget such beauty.

“Uh.. Who are you?” Raka couldn’t find any answer. He just replied with anything that comes to his mind. Unfortunately, his cognitive skill seemed to betray him.

Now it was other’s turn to be confused. ‘The f**k with this conversation? Is this how youngster nowadays exchange greetings?’

The beauty frowned. She looked unconvinced. She seemed like wanting to prove something but lacked the evidence to do so.

“I’m sorry. Please, excuse me.” The girl turned back and headed straight toward her car, leaving Raka with his dumbfounded expression.

Then, everyone started staring at Raka. He just stood there with a bowl of porridge in his left hand and a spoon in his right hand. Of course, still with his dumb look.

Realizing other people was staring at him, Raka quickly finished his porridge and paid the old man who owned the stall. He wanted to leave the place as soon as possible.

That night, inside the Temple.

“Ha, Haha.. HAHAHAHA”

The sound of a man laughing could be heard echoing throughout the place. He was laughing in front of a wall whilst looking at his own hand. His hand was bruised to the point of ugly, but unexpectedly it emitted a faint brown aura.
