Nobody enjoyed his captivity atop the spire. Katara was a delight with her dry wit. It made conversation blunt and to the point just as he liked it. The spire could hold three dragons of Katara side, so it had plenty of leg room, and the screaming. The screaming was loud and frequent it worked as something like a clock. He could tell when an adventurer reached the last floor and saw Katara in all her glory.
The occasional dead adventurer also served to enhance his meditation training. Keeping a clear mind over the deafening sounds of a breath attack, took skill. The system respected that, and he was nearly half-way to lv10 in meditation. That and the occasional scorpion had given him the poison resistance skill. Over all he was getting plenty of skills.
“Are you still meditating, or have you fallen asleep again? If you fall asleep, I won’t catch you if you fall over the edge.” Katara said in the dragon equivalent of a monotone. He snorted in response. “I want to play a game. Do you remember how to summon?”
Waving his hand and saying the magical words, Salome crashed down to the tower. The metallic Golem dropped like a brick and froze when it saw Katara. The dragoness slammed the golem down and began to sniff it.
“She smells deceitful, a good golem then. I will summon a monster as well and then our game can begin.” Katara said.
“What are the rules?” Nobody asked. He got up from his meditative position and stretched. Lightning flashed over the horizon followed by the booms of thunder.
“We summon monsters against each other until three are depleted. The one who wins, will get a favor from the other. How does that sound?” Katara said in an ominous voice.
Nobody glared at his summons. Salome Bitchtron was a piece of work. She betrayed him by assigning that compulsion quest to him. Just looking at her made him want to run her through.
“Master you wouldn’t be so cruel to make me fight to the death. Would you? This isn’t right, I’m a sentient being. Master are you listening.” Nobody felt his face stretch. “Master why are you smiling like that.” He let out a cackle.
“I’ll summon something at a lower level than normal.” Katara said. A massive summoning circle appeared, and a werewolf covered in flames fell out.
“Alright, I will give you the first move. Show me what Bitchtron can do?” She said.
Nobody thrusted his finger out. “Go Salome fight the werewolf.” The iron golem looked back at him once then charged and yelled like a berserker.
True Fire Werewolf lv25
The werewolf danced around her and ripped through her iron shell with its claws. Two swipes and a message popped up.
Salome Bitchtron unsummoned
“So, what did you learn?” Katara asked.
“You have some overpowered monsters and maybe a little strategy couldn’t hurt.” Nobody said.
“Very good Phil, why don’t you try arming your golem this time. Do you have enough mana to summon her again?” Nobody tossed his hands in the air and a new summon circle deposited Salome in all her ebony glory. He made a short spear and a shield and tossed it to her.
“Round two start.” Salome ran in a guarded path. She used her shield to deflect the claws only for the shield to shatter. She used the drop-in weight to position her spear and stabbed the werewolf under the chin. The haft of the spear shattered, and the weapon vanished in motes of light.
“Fuck,” Salome shouted and danced back from a swift counter. She dodged as best she could taking only shallow wounds. But the fight was already decided. There was nothing she could do to change it.
“Piercing Spears!”
Three spears slammed into the werewolf’s chest. “Now Salome, go for the eyes.” Nobody shouted. Salome drove her thumbs through the werewolf’s eyes. A beam of dragon’s breath swept through the battle killing both participants.
“You can use spells in battle to assist your monsters, though your opponent can also use spells.” Nobody had enough MP for two more summons.
“Can I summon a different monster or am I bound to the first one I summoned?” Nobody asked.
“Of course, there is no limit to what you can summon. So long as you give orders to your monsters to maintain obedience then it should be fine.” Once realizing that, he looked through his summon menu. The skill itself was nearly at level two, a testament to the power of the skill.
Drake, slime, golem, dryad, goblin, Rabbit, undead, and insect
Each summon would still be at lv1. Which was more of a rank than a level now that Nobody thought about it. Salome was much stronger physically than Nobody was by a long shot. Not to mention the difference between himself and Katara.
Katara was only lv40, dragons took much longer to level than a human and her physical attributes were thousands of times higher than his. He remembered her commenting once how at level one she had the equivalent of 5000STR for a human.
“Today, Phil focus and summon something new.” Katara roared. She was losing patients with him and when his dragon friend was impatient things tended to get lasered to death.
He hit slime and found a multitude of options he didn’t have before.
Gold Slime, Battle slime, Winged slime, Goblin slime, Dragon slime…
That was new, apparently his inventory had something to do with summoning. No, more like he could spend regents to create a variant of summons. He had been picking up dragon scales on the sly ever since he arrived. They weren’t considered her items. Well they were more like drops. There weren’t the normal red letters that were displayed when stealing something. So, he picked them up. Katara seemed happy enough by his actions.
He clicked Dragon Slime for its resistance to fire. Something that negated 15% of magic and negated another 50% of fire based attacks seemed good to him. He decided to name his new monster Jenny, Nobody had decided to name all his new monsters after forest gump until he ran out of names.
A blue circle appeared, and a dragon slime AKA Jenny dropped down. The blue scaled slime looked around as it formed into a humanoid appearance. He gave Jenny the normal commands and tossed her duel axes enchanted to cause lightning frost damage with every impact. The runes would just recharge after each hit.
“Did you just use my scales as regents for your summoning?” Nobody nodded his head waiting for some sort of backlash. He stepped closer to the edge. “Smarter than most, if you didn’t have that dreadful cap then I’m sure your flattery would be at lv50 by now.” She said chuckling.
“You’re not mad?” Nobody asked.
“Duplication is the oldest form of flattery. I fear Buttons may have some trouble with your slime. I better swap out to something with a little more punch. The werewolf later known as Buttons vanished into blue light. A new circle appeared this one gold. Out of it appeared a large bunny with red eyes black fur, and black lightning shooting between his fluffy ears. It had human hands and a very lithe form. Nobody could tell it was mail by the massive erection it sported.
“What may I do for you mistress?” The bunny said.
“Floples, I command you to fight that slime to the death then unsummon.” Floples put its hands together and created a massive ball of black lightning.
“Did you know when you challenged my mistress that slimes all share the element of water. They were weak against lightning. The rabbit appeared in the air above Jenny. She shrunk herself down in fear of the lightning.
“Lightning rods.” Nobody shouted and shot a bunch rods of mana into the ground around the fight. The rods worked better than expected they pulled the lightning away from the attack and Jenny went on the attack slashing with her axes. The rabbit danced around the attacks waiting for an opening. This fight was getting good in Nobody’s opinion.
“Sorry Phil but you just used a spell, so I get to. Scale Armor.” Floples was suddenly covered in a layer of dragon scales and the axes shattered upon contact with him. He picked Jenny up and unleashed a horrible blast of black lightning. Jenny vanished in motes of light.
Floples vanished too the second Jenny was gone. Nobody formed a chair of mana and sat down and crossed his legs. He hadn’t expected to win anyway. Though she was playing semi fair, the battle was never in doubt. The fact he got a draw at all was a plus one in his book.
Summons lv2 +2FOC +2WIS
What do you know? Nobody exited the pop up. He felt that he could focus on something a little better now. He learned a lot from living on this spire for well over a month. When Meditation reached 10 he felt, he could safely walk to the end of the spire’s influence.
“Well you must be curious, what will this crazy dragon have you do as your favor? It’s simple really, I want a rematch in the future. Come back when your much stronger and we will battle our monsters again. I’m on your map, you should be able to find me anytime.” Was this her way of saying good bye? He had a lot to learn and more levels to snag in meditation. He wasn’t ready.
“I still can’t leave until I can resist your compulsion.” Nobody said. A smile spread over the dragoness’s maw. She licked her lips.
“Let me make things clear Phil. I like you, we are of the same mana type and job. But you’re still a baby compared to me, and now it’s time to leave the nest. You have a week. Either go or I will make you.” Katara said. Nobody turned his head to the side.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
“You’re a Blue Sentinel Dragon.” Nobody said.
“Elegantly put, yes, I’m a Blue Sentinel Dragon the strongest being, with the smartest mana type, and the strongest job in the blue mana type. I’ve taught you a lot while you’ve stayed here. I hunted for you and licked you clean like a chick. You showed me you can adapt in a fight and eliminate your enemy’s advantages and plan around an opponent’s strengths. If I had summoned Buttons you might have won. You have a week to find a way around my compulsion, I have faith in you.” Katara said.
“That’s easy for you to say, you don’t have to fight against a ridiculous compulsion. Just, give me some time to think.” Nobody said.
Nobody crossed his legs and began to meditate.
Meditation lv5 +15FOC +10WIS
The skill would take another week just to get another level in it. He could practically see the chains of the compulsion holding him back and keeping him here.
He awoke from his meditation a day later and watched Katara lick her scales clean. It was a fascinating process. The dragon’s tongue was a long and dexterous organ, with sharp barbs built for rending flesh. It was only her delicate touch that save him from dying to her tongue.
“What is your fascination with watching me bathe?” Katara asked. Nobody turned his head away. “I didn’t mean to shame you, I’m genuinely curious. Do you find my form attractive? My charisma is quite high. Have I gotten to you? Have you become smitten with my beautiful form? Is it more than a mere compulsion keeping you here?” Katara said.
He knew dragons were prideful creatures, but this was ridiculous. They were two very different species and she was messing with him. Well time to double down.
“You found out.” Katara took on a look of shock. “Yes, Katara I have fallen madly in love with you. My dearest mentor, I wish to court you.” He waved his hand out for dramatic flare hoping it would show he was being sarcastic.
Her head turned to the side and she bumped her nose against his crotch. He felt an up current of air. “I had no idea you were one of those. Rare is it a sentient that sees beyond species and goes for what they want. Very well watch me clean myself if it will serve as a reminder to survive and come back.” What? He did the dramatic flare and everything this wasn’t fair why did the dragon suddenly want to screw him. She was messing with him, Katara tripled down, and nearly caught him flat footed. Two can play at this game.
“When did you become such a horny dragon?” Nobody said. He walked over to get a front row seat of the cleaning. Surely, this would make her blink. Was he playing bestiality chicken?
“Phil dragons develop their horns when they hit puberty. Perhaps, you do need an anatomy lesson. Has no one taught you Rocs and the D’bees?” He knew rocs were a type of monster bird but what were D’bees.
“What are D’bees?” He asked.
“Demon bees, a type of malevolent insect monster really nasty they reproduce with any species and rip off the genitals of their prey. Something to do with preventing inbreeding. Rocs, if you don’t know, reproduce by injecting their fertilized eggs into their victim for an easy meal for the chicks. They have an ovipositor with a sharpened bone point. It has a very powerful nerve dampening venom. Where was I going with this?” Nobody was having trouble following this as well. “Oh, yea dragons reproduce when a male overpowers the female and then mounts her. If you can’t either mate with me through subterfuge or might, then you aren’t a worthy mate. But, I wouldn’t be against your adoration while I bathe.” This lizard was the single most prideful, confusing, and annoying thing he had ever met. She still thought he wanted to bang her.
He shook his head and turned away from the dragon. She chuckled loudly in his mind and slurped noisily behind him. He had to think about anything but what Katara was doing behind him. That crazy dragon was more than likely messing with him, but you never know. She could be up to something. He had to think about something else.
His mind wondered to the Rocs and the Demon bees. Both monsters sounded dangerous. Their dangers weren’t just in their combat potential, but in how they bred. If he was to fight one of them how would he go about it.
Slurp! Squish! Slorp!
Refusing to think about what horrors were going on behind him, he sat on the edge of the spire and thought about tactics to combat the monsters. Jenny was the obvious choice for such a fight. She could take the most punishment and with the duel frost axes deal some damage in return. He recalled that ice was a weakness to insects and birds alike. Dragons too for that matter or was that dinosaurs.
“All clean, your focus is getting better a few more days of meditating and you should easily handle my compulsion.” Katara said. Nobody nodded and continued to stare out into the desert in contemplation.
He wanted to travel further south and see the sights.
You have been sent a 3minute video would you like to view it now, it has been saved to your video file.
The video had a thumbnail of Katara with her tongue sticking out. “We can send videos.” Nobody asked.
“Of course, we can send videos, I’ve saved your contact information. I will send you mine as well.”
Would you like to save this user to your contacts? He saved it under friends and put Katara and the thumbnail as the face, so he wouldn’t forget his folly.
He had to get out of here before he ended up literally fucking the dragon. Was that even a fraise? It sounded much worse than tickling it, that’s for sure. Well he hadn’t quite fucked the dragon it was more like accidently courting it.
“Well babe, I will be sure to force you into submission and mount you when I get back.” She chuckled and lowered her head to his face.
“I’ll be rooting for you. Polymorph,” She suddenly transformed into a dark-skinned beauty with flowing white curls and blue eyes. She was completely naked and sporting some double Ds. Two blue horns poking from her head and webbed ears revealed her inhuman nature. She twirled around showing off her body.
He thought record and this image of her spinning around and her boobs bouncing was recorded. Nobody cursed his own eyes, if they were only better. He needed to find skills to enhance his vision. This wouldn’t even be in HD.
“You’re amazing.” He said. She smiled a very dragon smile and spit on the ground revealing her dagger like teeth. “Make that scary as hell.” Katara nodded.
“Again, with the flattery, you need to get that level cap removed. Go, get out of here. The sooner you leave the sooner you will return. I’ll be waiting.” She leapt upon her massive golden treasury. He had the weirdest boner and didn’t know what to think. The compulsion was still there but his desire for sex and focus were holding it back.
“I will be back for you Katara. I will make you mine.” A shark like grin spread across her face and the aura of a mighty dragon appeared around her. He felt more than ever like an insignificant bug. That would change.
