Sorry for the short chapter! I just wanted to put something out here this week. With finals and all my schedule has been packed and I haven't had time to write. Sorry once again for any inconvenience.

Day 19: Today I only fought one battle in the the tournament. When I walked into the arena, a wizard in a blue cloak and a suit of armor with blood red eyes stood before me. Apparently, the wizard had a familiar called Blood Knight that could do almost anything a warrior could do. Anyway this is how the battle went:
“Hahahah, Blood Knight, look at this chump in front of us with his stupid pet slime,” the guy dressed in the wizard’s robe burst out laughing at my appearance.
“Hahaha, indeed master, he is a what you call, chump” the suit of armor could apparently speak, even if his voice was kinda metallic. “By the way master, after this fight I plan to go back to the countryside and get married.”
“Blood Knight…” The magician said his eyes brimming with tears.
*Stab* A sword pierced through the magician’s familiar turning it into grey dust. I mean, I wasn't just gonna wait for them to finish their little soap opera. Freaking weirdos.
“Ahhhh!” The wizard let out a scream as his friend died before him.
“He said he was going to start a nail salon.” ‘He did?’ I thought ‘When did he say that?’
“Red Knight, I shall avenge you!” ‘Wasn’t his name Blood Knight, is this guy okay? Like mentally?”
“You shall pay...Omh Rah Hua Cha Liu…” He started to cast a spell but it was kinda long. At first, I sat down, since I felt bad about not waiting before. But, it just kept going on and on, until I couldn’t wait anymore. As I lost my patience, I simply walked up to him and kicked him right between his legs. A satisfactory *crunch* sound could be heard as the man went limp and face planted into the ground.
“You win this time but next time…” He was saying something, but by that point in time, I was really fed up with the dude and decided to just stab him. A “Winner” sign appeared above my head; however, in all honesty I don’t really feel like I’ve accomplished anything today. How did this guy even make it to the second round? The world may never know.

Day 20: After the second round concluded, only a few hundred people remained. Since, so many people were eliminated, no fights were scheduled today. Instead, all the contestants were urged to level up or go on small quests. As for me, I'm sneaking out of the city so that a certain sadistic King doesn't see me.
"Hey Wolf!"
"Are you *ucking kidding me?" *cries* (I've seen this scene somewhere before.)
"Momma"
"You shut up." *cries more*

Day 21: The tournament's third round was today. My number wasn't called for for a while, so I just sat down in the waiting room. While I thinking of ways to kill King, a skeleton walked up to me. I was kinda surprised at first, since I have never seen an undead creature before, but it turned out it was just someone's familiar. The owner was a small elf with clear blue eyes.

"Um...hello" said the elf, who was apparently a girl, even though I couldn't tell since a robe was covering her face
"Momma?" Goo answered for me.
"Ah!" the girl jumped back in surprised. 'You have a skeleton as a pet, but you are afraid of a slime?' I questioned in my head. 'Not that I blame her, Slimes are vicious offsprings of satan after all.'
"Momma" Goo looked up at me obliviously.
"So what do you want" I asked as she recovered herself.
"I was wondering if you wanted to partner up for the 4th round and up. I've seen you fight and you were really good." Her eyes were sparkling with admiration.
"Partner?... Oh yeah, it did say something like that." In the guide for the tournament. It stated that for the 4th round and up, it will be 2 on 2 battles. I tried to block that part out of my memory since, I thought I would have to pair up with King, but if someone else was willing... that means I don't have to fight with that food monger.
"Sure!" I stated. Actually, I was quite happy having a partner other than King.
"Great, I have to go now, but... I'll see you soon." With that she ran off. 'What a fast conversation.' I thought not letting it get to me.
*Ding* Oh I'm up, guess it's time to go slaughtered some fools.
----------------------------------------
Hmm? In front of me was a...peculiar sight. A tiger beastmen getting a belly rub from some sort of pixie.
“Do we start?” I asked the ref.
“I...I don’t know” He looked nervous as sweat dripped off his face.
“Well, can I kill them?” I questioned not really sure of what to do myself.
“Um...sure?”
“Prrrr” The beastman said. ‘What the hell do I do with this guy?’ I started walking up to him with my gloves ready but as I got closer, nothing changed. When I was right over his face, I extended one of the knives from the gloves, and slowly stabbed the tiger.
"Purr!" The tiger man looked up at me with cold dead eyes and purred with more force. I couldn't understand what was happening and just kept stabbing him.
"Puurrrrr!" This time he stared at me with eyes of...admiration, is he getting something out of this? At this time, I was kinda scared and backed off, the beastman's health hovering right over the 50 pt mark.
"Keep going! I need more!" It let out a scream. I was so suprised I ended up decapitating him, but before he turned into bright light I could have sworn he gave me a thumbs up looking satisfied. Why do I fight all the freaks. How did these types of people even make it this far? A “Winner” sign appeared above my head. Seriously, why don’t I feel as if I’ve accomplished anything? I mean I won… but he just sat there. Did he like it? I...I'm just going to go take a nap for a while.
