As the egg flew into the air it was covered in a green light, slowly cracks started forming on the shell. A bird-like creature emerged from the egg, the creature had leaves as wings and feathers the creature was entirely made out of nature. The creature slowly flew to the ground. Lira put her hand out as the creature put its face down for her to pet, “this is Ero my pet Lerd.” Mya looked at Ero cautiously, “what exactly is he?” LIra looked at Mya blankly, “my pet Lerd.” “I know but I mean what is a Lerd?” Mya asked while still keeping her distance.
“A Lerd is a bird-like creature made up of plants,” Lira explained. Lex walked towards Ero, “is it only a thing in the elf territory?” Lira smiled as she continued petting Ero, “they used to be more popular before the war but now they only live in elf territory.” Rouge looked at it in curiosity, “how do you have one if you’ve never left the library?” Lira smiled she felt happy that for once Rouge wasn’t being rude, “well my ancestors all married someone that made it to the library, once they had a child my ancestors all sent their husband or wife into the elf village to buy an egg, they also gave them a ticket so they’d be welcomed into the elf territory.”

Mya smiled with starry eyes, “wow that’s a beautiful family history.” Mark looked at Lira with a worried look on his face, “so your whole family is here, shouldn’t you tell them you’re leaving.” “no,” Lira quickly answered. Rouge looked at Lira and crossed his arms, “why would they not let you come, if so you should listen to them you aren’t of any use to us.” Mya glared at Rouge, “don’t be rude!” Lira let out a sigh, “no I can’t tell them because they’re gone.” Mark hesitantly asked, “what do you mean by gone?” Lira looked down, “they passed away.” Mya walked over and put her hand on Lira’s shoulder, “I’m so sorry for your loss Lira.”
Lira smiled. It looked like a fake smile, “how about we get going now?” “It’s about time,” Rouge insensitively blurted out. Mya looked at Lira with a very concerned look, “before we go are you sure you want to come?” Lira looked Mya back with a determined look, “absolutely.” “It might be dangerous,” Mya warned Lira. Rouge laughs a bit, “it most definitely will be dangerous, a little girl like you might die.” Lira rolled her eyes, “I’m not little, I’m seventeen.” Lex sighed, “we’re probably going to get attacked a few times, so you must be certain you want to come.” Lira walked up to Lex, she held herself with a lot of confidence, “yes I’m certain, and I can be of use I have other summoning eggs we could use!” Mya smiled, “alright then let’s go!” Mya held her hand out for Lira. Lira quickly took her hand with a smile on her face.
