A male's hand quickly reaches for mya and grabs her by the arm, Mya is relieved knowing that Lex kept his promise when he said he wouldn’t let her fall. As the hand starts to drag her up to land she notices it wasn’t Lex that caught her, it was Rouge. Mya looks up at Rouge surprised, “thank you for saving me.” Rouge nods and quickly turns his back to her, “I didn’t want to damage our ticket to ending the war.” Lex turns to Rouge infuriated, “Don’t be rude Rouge!” Mark ran over to Mya and knelt to help her up, “are you alright Mya?” Mya smiles at Mark, “Thanks to Rouge I’m alright, but he doesn’t seem to care very much.”
Lex sighs and looks at mya with a soft smile,” Don’t let it get to you, Rouge is always like that.” Mya stands up slowly and walks over to lex, “why is he so cold I just want to be his friend.” Lex smiles at Mya, it feels bitter-sweet, “we’re your friends, Mya.” “Stop your friendship hustle, let's go,” Rouge shouted in a snappy tone. As they all walk to the library Lex speeds up a bit to get closer to Rouge. Lex looks over at Rouge, “what’s wrong with you.” “What do you mean,” Rouge asked with a cold look. Lex looks at him with an irritated face, “you’re never this cold to anyone.” “Yes I am,” Rouge firmly states.
Lex sighs, “You usually keep a safe distance but you never treat anyone how he treated you.” Just as Lex said that it sent Rouge into a flashback from his childhood. All Rouge could see was him, as a small child terrified as his father was yelling at him and hitting him. As he cried in a small room covered in bruises. Rouge snapped out of the flashback and came to, he was more irritated than before, “so what!” Lex looked at Rouge with a concerned look, “why are you treating her like this?” “she only wants to help us,” Lex added.
Rouge looked at Lex with a stern face, “I only trust you and mark.” Lex looks down at the ground in despair, “Our Group might expand on this journey, I suggest you learn how to trust others.” Lex walks ahead a small bit, letting Rouge reflect on what Lex had told him. As they all step foot in front of the library. Mya was amazed at how beautiful it was. The library was lined in gold and had beautiful pillars with spruce wood as the walls, and an archway as the front door. The archway had this strange yellow glow to it. The glow was also coming from all of the windows. Mya stepped closer to the library, “wow it’s so beautiful.” Rouge looks at Mya upset, “Let's just get what we need and leave.” as Rouge said that a small girl walked out from behind one of the pillars.

The Girl had beautiful pink hair, she had pointy ears. She must’ve been an elf. She was wearing a beautiful green dress, with gold trim. Her hair was in braids and she had a gold headband. Her dress had off-the-shoulder sleeves. Overall she was all you’d expect an elf to look like. Rouge turned his attention to the small girl, “who are you!” The girl looked at Rouge with a fierce look in her eyes, “I’m the keeper of the library.” Lex looked at the small girl with a confused expression, “why does the library need a keeper, it’s already difficult enough to get here.” The girl looked at Lex, “because some do manage to make their way here, like yourselves.”
“I’m here to warn them of the dangers of trying to enter.” The small girl proceeded to say. Rouge looked at the girl trying not to laugh and in a sarcastic voice he said, “Like what getting a paper cut.” Rouge smirked thinking that what he said was so very clever. Mya walked over to Rouge, “be nice!” Mark looked at the girl and timidly asked, “what kind of dangers?” The girl looked at Mark, “if you try to enter you will die.” Lex looked at the girl curiously, “how?” Rouge saw a chance to poke fun at the girl, and took it he sarcastically said, “will you kill us, I’m so scared.” Rouge looked at the girl with a grin. The girl looked at Rouge and thought to herself, “what a jerk.” Mya looked at ROuge irritated, “you’re a horrible person Rouge.” “I agree with the girl,” the small girl added.
Rouge started to open his mouth but all he could get out was a single word, “I..” he quickly got interrupted by Lex, “shut up.” “Now who’s being rude,” Rouge said as he turned to Lex. The small girl mumbled under her breath, “we were all thinking it.” Mya, desperate to change the subject, “so how will we die if we try to enter?” The girl looked back at the library, “a long time ago the mages placed a spell on all the entrances so only mages could enter, if you tried to enter and weren’t a mage you would instantly die.” Mya walked up to the entrance and looked at it, “magic?” “Yes,” the small girl replied. Mya slowly starts to step through it. All of the boys shout, “Mya!”
