Rouge looked at Lira as he rolled his eyes, “so what’s this plan of yours to get us out of here?” Lira smiled and looked at Rouge, “it’s something only elves can do.” Rouge smirked, “were you bluffing, if you were we’re going to leave you here.” Mya looked at Rouge, upset by how he was treating lira, “You know what’s funny, I still rather stay with her for eternity than with you.” Lex sighed knowing he’d have to pick a side, “Rouge she’s one of us now we can’t just leave her behind.” Lex turned his attention to Mya, “and Mya don’t get so defensive.” Mya rolled her eyes. Lira looked at Mya and smiled, “Thank you for standing up for me.” “Of course,” Mya smiled back.
Lira looked at Rouge with an annoyed look on her face, “and for the record, I wasn’t bluffing.” Lira runs into a small house next to the library and then hurries back holding an egg. The egg was light green, forest green, and a baby purple color. Mark walked over to Lira, “what’s that? It looks kinda like an egg.” Lira looked at Mark and smiled, “it is an egg.” “How will an egg help us leave,” Mark asked curiously. Rouge walked closer and smiled as he licked his lips, “I think that egg will be more useful in my stomach.” Mya looked at rouge angrily, “rouge if you don’t stop insulting Lira I will hit you!” “Oh I'm so scared,” Rouge mocked Mya. Lex finally had enough, “Rouge just shut up you’re just wasting time.” Mya smiled at Lex, “thank you lex.”
Lex looked at Mya with a concerned look, “Mya, you seem very defensive of Lira, why?” Mya smiled sweetly, “well I know what it’s like for someone to be rude to you for no reason, and I know I can stand up for myself but Lira seems kind of timid so I have her back!” Lira looked at Mya with tears in her eyes, “thank you, Mya.” Mya walked over to Lira and put her hand on Lira's shoulder, “don’t worry about it Lira, we’re friends so I’ll always have your back.” Rouge rolled his eyes and walked away. “We’re all your friends Lira,” Mark said cheerfully. Lex nodded, “agreed.” Rouge rolled his eyes again, “Well I'm not your friend.” Mya glares at Rouge, “don’t mind him, he only likes Lex and Mark.” “Oh I see,” Lira said in a sad tone.

“So how will an egg get us out of here,” Mark said, trying to change the subject. Lira smiled at Mark, “the egg won’t the creature inside it will.” Rouge let out a small sarcastic laugh,” so what, we have to wait for it to hatch?” Lira sheepishly looked at Rouge, “no.” Lex looked at Lira and put a nice smile on his face once he noticed her manner, “so how does it work then?” Lira calms down as she sees Lex’s smile, “as you know elves and demons are the only species on the planet that can use magic now.” Mya looked at them confused, “wait so elves and demons can use magic?”
“Not as much as mages could but yes,” Lira told Mya with a smile on her face. Mya smiled back, Lira looked like she was in deep thought, “demons can only use shadow magic and elves can use summoning magic.” Mya had a disappointed look on her face, “so that’s why you can’t destroy the books?” Lira looked at Mya with a soft smile, “correct, Mages can use any type of magic but demons and elves are limited.” “I would’ve thought you could use earth magic,” Mya told Lira curiously. Lira looked at Mya confused, “why’s that?” Mya thought about it for a moment, “well in your book the element is earth magic.” Lira laughed a bit, “those books were originally the mage, remember.” Mya laughed nervously, “oh ya.” Lira smiled and looked at everyone, “well is everyone ready to get out of here?” Everyone except for Rouge shouted, “Yes!” Lira smiled, “alright then.” Lira quickly threw the egg into the air.
