{Introduction}
Congratulations William, you and your settlement have been chosen for integration into the world of GAEA. Please select 2 base classes for yourself. List is as follows:
- Fighter
- Scout
- Archer
- Mage
- Medic
- Enchanter

William felt some disappointment at there being no cool name classes like Monk or Assassin, but maybe he could evolve the classes later. Taking a seat on the soft grass, he felt the gentle kiss of wind blow over him, the perfect counterbalance to the hot sun beaming down upon him. William didn’t waste any time to review his options.

{Class – Fighter}
The Fighter is the basis for most close quarters combatants in GAEA. Be it a spear, a sword, a scythe, an axe, you will watch the glint of life fade from the eyes of your foes.
Advanced Classes available on first full rank up. Depending on secondary classes, professions, and gained titles, advanced classes can vary in a myriad of ways. Some examples of Fighter progression include, Shield-Forge Guardian, Eldritch Soul-Sword, and Shadow Battle-Wraith.

It was safe to say that fighter had some...appeal to William. His favourite MOBA character was a wandering swordsman able to enchant his blade with buffs to attack harder and faster. Images of him flourishing a glowing magical sword flashed in his mind wading through goblins, kobolds, and other trash mobs as a whirlwind of steel and arcane death.
William had to hold himself back from immediately selecting the class. He would be rewarded for his patience, he told himself. With that done, he moved on to the next prompt.

{Class – Scout}
The Scout is the swift and attentive eyes of any good group whether against other hostile people or monsters. Their ability to hide and move through terrain is second to none. Be the eyes that guide your comrades to never ending victories.
Advanced Classes available on first full rank up. Depending on secondary classes, professions, and gained titles, advanced classes can vary in a myriad of ways. Some examples of Scout Progression include, Natural Predator, Gloom-blade Assassin, and Verdant Dagger Master.

William could imagine the potential of such a class, but he wasn’t too keen on it for himself. He never was a massive fan of the cloak and dagger character type in games. The role had its place and it wasn’t bad in any way, but it wasn’t really for him. Decision made on that class, he moved on.
{Ascension_Protocol}
{Class – Archer}
The Archer is the ranged death-bringer, be it alone or with others, your foes fall before they realize what hit them. Your arrows pierce flesh like paper and your quiver stocks bolts of death, ready to be knocked and loosed upon those who would cross your goals.
Advanced Classes available on first full rank up. Depending on secondary classes, professions, and gained titles, advanced classes can vary in a myriad of ways. Some examples of Archer progression include, Woodland Sniper, Volley-Sower, and Death-bringer Marksman.

He found Archer to be rather interesting. Ranged capability wouldn’t be bad, and could even be a boon for William. He considered the possibility of lugging a bow and quiver with a sword and shield; his favourite combination in any game. He would need to sling the bow over his shoulder if he wanted to go the sword and board route, which would to his imagination be rather unwieldy in combat. He also didn’t like the notion of leaving his bow and maybe his quiver on the ground or to the side where it could be stolen or used against him. If he was to take it, he would need to disregard his desire for physical combat classes. If spatial storage was a thing in this new world, then it wouldn’t be an issue, but two problems arose in that regard. The first was that he had no idea how he would acquire such a thing, and the second was that he would need to endure the cumbersome kit until he could acquire such a means of storage. He decided to keep it in the back of his mind in case the later classes were more synergistic.
“Onto the next one,” William said, intrigue piquing as he read the next option.

{Class – Mage}
The Mage is the bringer of The elements, the defier of the laws of nature and physics, the curse of non-magical foes, and the arbiter of raw shock and awe. Your enemies will tremble as the ground beneath them does and the sky tremors from your tempest. Shying away from physical arms and armour, you must rely on allies to watch your back from those who would seek to remove a primary threat from the battlefield.
Advanced Classes available on first full rank up. Depending on secondary classes, professions, and gained titles, advanced classes can vary in a myriad of ways. Some examples of Mage progression include, Tempest-Caller, Tremor-Weaver, and Immolation-Sower.

The desire for this class was palpable and he could picture weaving elemental magic attacks at his foes. A [Fireball] here, a [Frost-bolt] there. The urge to pick the class ate at him and he had to fight those urges so he could look at the class rationally. After a long moment, he was triumphant and took the time to re-read the class. A frown then appeared on his face as he took in a specific line in the description that bugged him. “Shying away from physical arms and armor, you must rely on allies to watch your back from those who would seek to remove a primary threat from the battlefield.”
If it was to be believed, martial prowess would suffer in exchange for the ability to conjure the elements. He really wanted magic, but he didn’t want to forsake arms and armor for it. He felt like a total idiot for not picking it, but he stuck by his decision and moved on to the next prompt.

{Class – Medic}
The Medic is the backbone of any party. There when injuries present themselves as a bulwark against death. The power of life energy is your calling, no pain to great to mend. Be the bane of death, be the light in the dark, and be the still amongst chaos.
Advanced Classes available on first full rank up. Depending on secondary classes, professions, and gained titles, advanced classes can vary in a myriad of ways. Some examples of Medic progression include, Radiant-Rejuvenator, Stellar Surgeon, and Nature’s Doctor.

He saw that the class did what it said on the tin. He didn’t expect to be going into battle with anyone from his town, nor did he feel keen on partying up with other people. Socializing was not his favourite thing to do. Shouting matches down the microphone on multiplayer games were one thing, and he had a quick wit for sarcastic or harsh retorts, but to actually associate with people wasn’t something he relished. Medic seemed to be the complete opposite of his desires in that regard and he didn’t even know if he could heal himself too, or if it was only effective on others. If it was the former, he could use a self heal function, but just like the other classes before, the descriptions were vague enough to leave him with more questions than answers, and such an important decision like this couldn’t be made with a snap of the fingers. He decided that the class wasn’t for him and moved on to the final one and one he was curious to read.

{Class – Enchanter}
The Enchanter sees the value of enhancing the martial and other physical attributes of objects and people with magic to unlock new paths and allow for creative solutions and opportunities to present themselves. Many victorious warriors have won the day with enchanted gear or buffed abilities thanks to the enchanters in the background.
Advanced Classes available on first full rank up. Depending on secondary classes, professions, and gained titles, advanced classes can vary in a myriad of ways. Some examples of Enchanter progression include, Blade-Ward, Speed-Bearer, and Soul-Stealer.

William paused at the very last line of the descriptor. Soul-Stealer. He compared it to the other hinted advanced classes, and said, “One of these is not like the others.”
Maybe it was related to dark magic. Most importantly to William however was that this class seemed like the perfect option for self buffing his future swordsmanship.
He wanted the ability to use magic and fight with weapons, and this was the ideal solution to his problem it seemed.
A wide grin plastered William’s face. He was actually going to do it, to become like one of the characters he had fantasized about becoming.
His smile briefly faded, “Oh god, I’m about to be a fucking LARPer!”
His dismay faded quickly however as he was too excited to dwell on the boring shit.
“Class one Fighter, Class two Enchanter. Let’s fucking goooo!”
His decisions were made, and he was about to get up from the ground but was prompted with something he had forgotten in his excitement; Skills.

What felt like a tidal wave of instinct and knowledge flooded William threatening to overwhelm his mind. He writhed on the floor briefly as the knowledge was absorbed. What was mere seconds felt like minutes until shortly after beginning, the torrent of information ceased. Calm and a mental warmth of sorts washed over William, calming his senses and soul. Letting out a held breath, he got to his feet. Another Prompt then appeared.
“More?!” William groaned in frustration, already feeling overwhelmed.

Choose starting weapon for Fighter Class:
- Short Sword & Buckler
- Short Sword & Tower Shield
- Spear
- Greatsword
- Dual Axes
- Great Axe
- Warhammer
- Dual Daggers
{End}
William immediately picked option one as it would be the best for his mental image of the fighting style he wanted.
{Ascension_Protocol}
Starting gear has been assigned to William. Items will appear momentarily. List of items is as follows:
- Short Sword
- Buckler
- 10 rations
- 1 Full HP potion
- 1 Full MP potion
- 1 Full SP potion
- Water-skin
- Bedroll
- Backpack
- Enchanters Tools
- Basic Wool Tunic
- Basic Wool Pants
- Basic Hide Shoes
{End}
Once his choice was made, he felt fabric covering his body, making him realize that he was only in underwear before this. Then he remembered something he didn’t even process when he had looked over at the others. He had skimmed his attention past them too annoyed and lost in thought that he didn’t even notice that they had been in the same state. He saw the items provided appear from thin air before him. William donned the buckler on his off hand and attached the sword-belt with his new sword in it to his body. He then put on his backpack as the final item before him. From the weight, he knew everything else was in the pack. William got to his feet and glanced once more at the others from his town and saw most were clothed with some on the ground clasping their heads in pain. He assumed that if the second reminder prompt had been prickling pain, then what they were experiencing was the third reminder prompt penalty. As he started walking, another prompt appeared and William sighed and muttered, “How many more will there be?”

William barely noticed the information on the page, as the photo of his appearance on his character sheet stunned him. He had no fat on his body, no muscle either other than the minimum needed to sustain his body, the blemishes and sporadic hair growth was gone too. His hair was no longer greasy but it was still shoulder-blade length. He looked...good. Not amazing, chiseled, or inspiring, mainly he looked generic, but better thin and generic than fat and generic he surmised.
“Score one for Isekai Weight-Watchers!” William cheered, and then only really paid attention to his stats after he calmed himself down.
He paid particular attention to two things, first was the mention of infinite general skills that he could potentially obtain, which was particularly noteworthy. So much potential was there for him to grasp. The second thing he was interested in was the mention of Jobs. He could have three and each came with separate skills for them. It didn’t say what Jobs were but William had a feeling it was like crafting and gathering professions in some MMORPGs he had played in the past.
William reviewed the rest of the info on his sheet and was really not surprised at what appeared. Low and average generic attributes and resource pools. The same as any other Level one noob.
“This noob’s journey begins now!” He cheered, and noted that his chant was lame.
He knew it was lame, but it was the main driving force he had at that time. William closed the Character Sheet and mentally prepared for the horror of social interaction.
He turned and took in a landscape, picturesque view of the world around him. A picture of adventure and intrigue that would soon learn the name of the great traveler William.
