A buffed teenager arguing with a piece of paper was a sight to behold, fortunately nobody saw him or Edgar and the maid would start calling him " lord dumbass instead of lord bastard .

Following the parchment's idea, he cut down a branch from an old tree and held it on his left hand.

" Use extraction on these old trees and transfer it on this branch "

At his word the parchment rolled itself on the air and green light was being sucked out of the trees he had marked, and once the last drop of life energy came out of them, they withered and turned to ash.

" Why do I feel like you murdered them "

Pretending like he didnt read that, he ordered the energy transfer to the branch , and what he saw did not dissapoint him. He watched that old piece of wood turning into such a fine and new looking tree branch, full of life and vigor .

Excited from what he saw, he quickly called out the barrier which could be fueled by the energy contained inside the branch .

As described, a green barrier the side of a farmer's house surrounded him and he maintaned it for around 2 minutes, until the branch exploded on his face .

" OUCHHH..What the fuck just happened "

He realised that this parchment wasnt as much of a cheat ability as he previously thought.

The parchment told him to create a skill that allowed him to channel life energy on his own body and use it to activate the skills he creates .

It taught him to use extracted energy to fuel that skill and use it for the first time, then once he learnt how to channel the energy he would not need outside support from old branches and would stop murdering trees.

" I have seen Edgar once train mana through what he calls meditation, but us bastards are not allowed to train mana so the maid ratted me out and Edgar beat me sensless "

Irwin paid no attention to the words written on the parchment, he was not going to create any mana meditation skill since the mages of the main family would know he had mana and do everything to stop him from participating. That night, few stray animals in the forest witnessed a tenage boy trying to choke a piece of paper....

The next morning, Irwin's maid Melissa who was only his maid in name, was washing her body and readying herself.
