Cole confronts Death. The battle of the NGP has arrived.
The large piston locks release with hydraulic sounds forcing the NGP bunker door open. Cole, alone, steps out into the sun causing him to cover his eyes for just a moment. He’s greeted by Death, literally, and just behind him his gang of ogres. They have come prepared. The ogres have put on every piece of armor they could come up with. Each of them having found their favorite makeshift weapons. Though none of this surprises Cole, it’s Death's attire that takes him by surprise. Death is covered in black crystal clothing from head to toe, befitting a king. A black crystal encrusted golden crown, scepter, earrings, necklace, buttons, and rings on each finger. More importantly an entire crystal cape hanging down to his ankles. Death calls with a bit of a humorous tone, “My my what’s going on here? I’ve been hearing tale that you are, upset? I’ve even heard rumors of, an uprising? Right after we’ve been attacked no less…”
Without any hint of what he was going to do next, Cole leaps with explosive force high in the air. He lands in the center of town where most of the NGP have gathered. Cole turns thinking he would see Death running to his position with great speed, but no, it was much faster than he thought. Death is already standing next to him just as close as before. The crowd rapidly becomes a circle encapsulating the confrontation. Ultras, humas, and eventually the ogres join in surrounding the show. Confusion washes over everyone like waves. The battle with the Blood Hunters has left everyone dazed looking for answers, safety, at least some sort of plan. Some are confused by the rumors they’ve been hearing, and others are simply ready for the fight. The murmurs of the crowd is deafening. However it’s obvious, what the crowd collectively understands is, Death is, pissed.

Death asks in a sarcastic tone and with a sinister grin, “And where do you think you’re going, Cole? What do you have to say for yourself?”
Cole replies with a grin of his own, “Actually, I have lots to say. Everyone! Death has been using you! Death is using your tattoo to siphon your power! He’s not your friend! He’s a parasite! He’s the one who sent those creatures to take us! He’s going to keep sending more until all of us are gone!”
Death chuckles before speaking, “Is that it then? Is that all you have to say? Everyone here saw me fight those creatures. Everyone knows I’m the only protection they have against the monsters in the darkness. Everyone knows you’re a liar!”
Justice and Brody join the scene parting their way through the crowd. The startled ogers jump out of Justice’s way, afraid to touch her, and showing a semblance of respect as if she was a princess. Along with Justice and Brody, Alpha and Omega aggressively shove their way to the center too. As if it was natural, a division of the NGP begins to manifest. Those who are on Death’s side stand behind him, and those who are simply looking for answers, let alone opposing the reign, stand behind Cole.
