Omake 56: The Love Girl (2)
Kama was a simple deity.
When she sees something as cute as Ganyu, she has to have it 24/7.
A qilin, a puffy cloud that was now hers to hug and cuddle with. Well, technically it was Giorno’s as the Qilin was mostly endeared by the blond, but she was also Kama’s by proxy. Once she was done finalizing her seduction and her ensnaring of the pretty but naive boy, she would be one step to be the greatest.
Yet, while Ganyu’s arrival was worthy of a smile and a squeak, there was just something odd about what ensued after her entry in the group. Strange things started to happen: drawings Kama was making were now missing together with notes she had jealousy hidden from the rest of the occupants in the plane.
At first she suspected it was her future mother-in-law, but the fact the woman admitted knowing of those from early on, but seeing no point in depriving her of those left Kama speechless.
Could it have been Giorno? The boy looked more interested in petting Ganyu and pestering his parents.
Heck, he was also busy avoiding the strange gazes the old witch hag was throwing in his direction and… this situation was annoying the goddess.
Santana? He didn’t care enough to see her as the threat she truly was. In fact, the monster of a man would probably care less for her existence. That big oaf!
Dio? Yeah, why would he mind if he had other thoughts to worry about?
It was someone that she came to respect for the simple reasons that, 1) he was super-strong and 2) he gave the best head pats. And that was enough to make her contemplate a potential role as daddy’s favored girl. That was definitely going to piss off her future mother-in-law a lot. But… maybe it was worth a shot.

And finally… the pilot! But no- jokes aside, no one seemed likely to have done it.
Baba Yaga in particular was somewhat of an ‘ally/rival’ because they shared spreadsheets on the matter. And just earlier that morning she had lamented missing papers. So yes, someone was messing with them. Kama deserved respect and someone wasn’t paying it to her.
And that wouldn’t do. She had to look into clues. She had been engrossed in that Sherlock Holmes book for a while, so she knew how to investigate properly. She needed clues, she needed hints to highlight theories for a path. While she was busy looking around, the girl felt frustrated as nothing came up.
It was around lunchtime that her adventurous spirit was shredded to pieces by two notions: time and space. Time because she had other things to do, specifically enticing her future husband, and space because the setting of this case was a limited airplane. Nothing came to mind, nothing came to sight.
So that’s why Kama was huffing and puffing in her corner, eating one of the few sandwiches she fished out from the big basket her future mother-in-law prepared for lunch. She had Ganyu to hug to stabilize her depression, but it was there that… the absurd unfolded.
As they both were eating their snacks, Kama paused as she saw the qilin coughing and struggling to eject something. She tensed and braced for a potential vomit shot, but what came out was small, round and compact. It was paper. It was a ball of documents mixed between her writings and those made by Baba Yaga.
It was then that Kama understood the truth. How her own trust had been betrayed by the one thing that was cuter than her! She was confused. Why? The more she thought about it, the more the strangely happy look Ganyu gave her left her trembling. Then, the little critter stared at Giorno and- And Kama felt it. Unrestrained love. The sentient beast- That Qilin, she wanted Giorno too! But how? Why?
“Kikiki~,” The treacherous beast giggled, smug and amused by the horror spreading on the white-haired girl’s face.
Dark times were up ahead. Dark and fluffy.
