Omake 50: Dio meets the Jojos (Giornos)

There are two Giornos, which means twice the huggable sons than usual.

If before there had been some lingering doubts regarding my genuine good-will, now those were standing on weak legs before the affectionate mood I had while handling the two young men who were family to me through blood and spirituality.

My biological son was quick to accept but also slightly huff at my overly-warm approach, while the ‘original’ Giorno was slightly stunned by the sudden embrace. At first he looked ready to push me away because of how unexpected that move was, but the young man’s unease was shattered by the rise of a feeling he had longed for so many years and was getting closure to just now.

He shuddered a bit, nervousness flaring as the younger blond returned the hug and let out a quiet sob in it. I think that was what really made me feel this was a must. My son was in need of affection and I wasn’t going to deprive him of this. So, I hugged him a lot.

“Man, these two are really tight, heh?” Joseph commented flatly while staring at Jonathan with a perplexed look. His grandfather was looking at the scene with odd but happy eyes.

“Hmm,” Jotaro hummed quietly, studying this circumstance with a degree of interest and worry that exceeded his previous alarmed state.

He couldn’t get much out of that situation, but it was getting clear that one of these two ‘Giornos’ was actually son to the Dio he had fought in Cairo. And it made the whole circumstance fairly-

“That’s so cool, Dio-san has two sons!” Josuke interrupted his thoughts, once again portraying the sight in a lighter and ‘sillier’ manner than it should be.

It was clear one of them could easily turn in a rotten apple like their vampiric father and… Jotaro wasn’t sure how to handle it. Maybe it wouldn’t be bad to be a bit more trusting considering that there were numerous trustworthy allies that could help him fend off any surprises in that regard.

“I-I think this is enough,” Giorno finally announced, his voice muffled by the hug.

“Apologies, Giogio,” I replied warmly before slowly unraveling the embrace. “I could tell you were in need of that.”

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

I didn’t explain what ‘that’ was, but the young blond seemed to pick up what I meant with just a glance. He nodded politely and happily.

“Perhaps you should be more mindful of your bouts of ‘paternal affection’, father.”

I frowned at my Giorno. “I don’t recall you skipping hugs when you were younger, child.”

“I’m not a child anymore,” The blond remarked flatly. “Speaking of which, I suggest my other self is a bit wary of how many times father will try to bring you in hugs.”

I frowned at that cheeky remark, faux-glaring at my cheeky son for making it.

“Hmm, I bet your sisters would be happy to have a second big brother to get spoiled by,” I mirthfully rebuked, causing my eldest child to sigh and shake his head in ‘defeat’.

The ‘original’ Giorno blinked, then gave me a quizzical look. “S-Sisters? Our family is bigger than just us, Padre?”

“Yep. Why, did you think that my wife would have allowed me to just give her a tiny family?”

The young man looked stunned by this matter, but where he looked ready to inquire more about this, the situation that soon ensued didn’t grant him this much as someone else spoke up before he could get a chance to.

“So, what the heck is going on here?” A new voice called out and we all turned to see a young woman, with blonde and dark-green hair wearing a fairly unusual outfit that drew stunned looks from everyone, specifically Jotaro.

The girl paused, noticed the staring and that it came mostly from Jotaro.

“Pops! You look… younger?!”

“...What?”

Oh dear, that’s definitely going to be a blast to handle. And we have yet to hit the next ‘timeline’…
