Once he had finished skinning the coat, Kira proceeded to wear it instead of his adventurer's cloak. Looking around, Kira noticed a pile of coins and a mask lying on the ground. The coins are useful, so he picked them up. The mask was the thing that interested him; there were a few masked players, but their masks were bought, not dropped.
The mask had a thin red line for the mouth and a purple lightning bolt on one eye. Inspecting it, Kira was pleased with what he saw.

"Motherfucking awesome." Equipping the mask and the red cloak, Kira went to town. When he entered, the people around him looked at him with eyes of fear and respect. When he entered the adventurer's hall, even the receptionists looked at him in wonder.
"Hello is there anything I could help you with sir?" Kira smiled. They obviously didn't recognise him. "Its me-Kira." Taking the mask off, he smiled at the receptionist. With her mouth agape, she quickly asked him about the cloak. "That is the hide of the red mountain bear. It's supposed to be the strongest monster around! Lots of new recruits have formed teams and died but you solo'd it! How?"
"I grew stronger. I made up some skills and used them against him. It was actually pretty intense but it was worth it; it makes a pretty good fur coat. By the way, what parts of the bear are useful?" Shocked at such a question Mira said every part of the mountain king was useful. Trading the bear's head for some coins, Kira went and bought some food for the journey ahead. He also bought a canteen to store water. He checked the time. 'It's about time I logged off for karate...' Logging off, Kira went to practice for future.
Once had logged back on, Kira decided to go further into the woods. This time, all of the remaining wolves stayed away from him- they knew about the massacre and who had killed the king of the forest.
He noticed a small lake and lights dancing around the edge of it. Walking up to the lake, the lights suddenly ran away, as though fearing Kira.
Suddenly, through the bushes came a rustling sound. Turing to face the direction of the sound, Kira gripped the handle of his katana. From the bushes appeared an old man. He was bald and his eyes were covered with red sunglasses. His triangular beard covered his Hawaiian shirt. He had a stick he used to walk with. To the average person, this man wouldn't appear to be a threat, but Kira's instincts told him otherwise. A man this old should have died from wolves- they never let weak prey go. Yet, the man stood in front of him.
"Hello there young man, what are doing in a place like this?"
"I could ask you the same thing. My name is Kira. What is yours?"
"Polite, courageous and cautious. You're the first one to be still on guard after they saw how frail-looking I am. Anyway, my name is Master Roshi. You are well trained, if you have survived this far into the woods."
"I could say the same thing about you." Kira retorted. He still hadn't put his katana away. He still didn't know the man's true purpose and he also couldn't see the man's level. Endless online was funny like that; if someone was 10 levels higher than you, you wouldn't be able to see their level. It would just be question marks. This man was clearly over level 22. "You can put that thing down. I promise I mean you no harm." Kira sheathed his sword.
Walking towards the lake, Kira was surprised as Master Roshi also did the same. Kira brought out a canteen and filled it with the water. He glanced at the old man. Instead of doing anything to the water, the old man was staring at him. "What do you want? You're creeping me out."
Smiling, the old man asked Kira. "Do you want to have a spar? I haven't met someone as young as you but as experienced as you." Raising his eyebrow, Kit nodded. "With weapons or barehanded?"

"Let's try weapons for now, shall we?" Even before the old man stopped talking, Kira had already rushed towards him, blade low. Once he had gotten in range, he swung upwards, only to have been met by thin air. The man hadn't just dodged the blade by a hairs breath, but actually disappeared- he was actually that fast that the time dilatation between the two was massive. 'Alright let's see if he can dodge lightning arrows.' Gathering mana into his hands, Kira looked around and saw the man standing near the water.
He threw the arrow but once again it missed. Suddenly the old man appeared right in front of Kira startling him. Master Roshi raised his hand and flicked him in the forehead. "It's my win." He said, smirking.
"Goddammit, you're too quick." Kira replied in self-defense. "Well done on the quick thinking by the way. You immediately knew that I was too fast for you so you switched tactics. How did you make those arrows without chants?" Suspicious, Kira didn't reply; why would you say your secrets?
"Oh I get it. How about this: You tell me your secret and I will tell you a secret about your sword?"
"That seems like a fair trade. But what is the secret about? I don't want some useless skill."
"Ahhh. Well done. I was about to give you a useless skill but now... I will tell you how to find your swords skikai or their true name."
"Fine. I can cast spells based on my imagination, proficiency and mana capacity. I once read in a book that mana was in every living being and that mana could flow. What flows in the body? Blood. Mana is connected with blood and suddenly I found that I could manipulate mana in my body."
"Well I am impressed. I also read that but I didn't get the link! Alright. Time to keep my side of the bargain. A shikai is allows your sword to have a second form. To find your swords true name you must find out if you're worthy or not, it all depends on the swords opinion of you. There is also a stage after that called bankai but that's for another day. There are two types of shikai- permanent and changeable. If you find out your swords shikai and it doesn't change back to a katana, then it's a permanent one but if it does... Well you get the picture. Do you understand?" Nodding, the old man continued.
"The shikai also has abilities that are very useful and can only be surpassed by the bankai. The way to activate to the shikai is by saying a single sentence with a vowel that links to the bankai. Take mine for example." He brought out two pistols. They were identical in every little thing. Master Roshi held them a bit differently from the norm. He held them upside-down and instead of using the index finger to fire the weapons he used his pinky.
"Fire in perfect synchronization, Patrica and Elizabeth."
The guns started to shine and expand. They enveloped his upper arms and the gun barrel increased in size. Once they had stopped growing, the light broke down into particles revealing what was underneath. The small pistols were totally different. They looked like someone attached shotgun barrels to an amputee but it looked strangely beautiful. Skulls with three giant teeth adored the side. Both weapons were identical to each other. Bringing his arms up, Master Roshi fired at a tree.
BOOOM.
Once the dust had cleared, there was nothing of the tree left standing. "Well, impressed?" He asked the shocked Kira. "Very."
"Now, the way you find your shikai is through meditation. Although it may sound simple, you must enter the world of your sword. In fact, the trance you should enter means that any injuries made to the real body are ignored. Some swords give their name willingly, others you must fight for the name. A sword will share the same personality as its owner so keep that in mind."
Whilst he was talking, he grabbed a water canteen and filled it. Then, once he had finished talking, he got up to leave. "Until next time, Kira."
"Have a good journey." Seeing the old man off, Kira placed the katana on his lap and started meditating.
