Kira POV
In front of me stood an angry elf. She had glasses and wore neat clothing. She looked like a stereotypical secretary, albeit with longer ears.
"Do you know where you're going!?" I nodded. "It's the tower of Orario. It's a dungeon and it is what I am about to enter. Is there a problem?"
"THERE IS A PROBLEM!" She told me off. "There are rules for this dungeon!" She then proceeded to list all of them...
"Firstly, everyone who wants to go into the dungeon has to be part of a familia. Then they will be legally able to enter. You must also sign a document that makes you unable to sue us for all injuries in the dungeon. I know, it's stupid but it have been incidences where people tried to sue us. Then you can go to the dungeon!" She finished her rant and crossed her arms. I sighed.
"Fine. How do I get myself to be in a familia?"
"You have to prove yourself first. Follow me to the arena. There you will fight until you prove yourself to a God or Goddess."
"Can I bring a friend?" I wanted Tohka to come with me. She looked back. "Sure, and you can form a team."
'Nice.'
"You need to fill these forms." I had followed her to a administrative building and was forced to sign some forms. I had picked up Tohka along the way and we had formed a two person party.
"The arena is quite special. It focuses more on the skill of a person rather than the level." She smiled as she continued. "The arena makes you all the same level; it adds up all of your levels and then finds the mean. Thus, people who have more skill have a better chance."
'Interesting. This would be a great way to kill some time. "So where is the arena?"
She pointed at a faraway building. "That is the coliseum. You just go there and sign up. You have to fight in rounds, and the winner gains fame, fortune and the approval of a God or Goddess. You're lucky, a new round is starting in an hour or so, so you have to hurry."
Thanking the elf, Tohka and I set off.
We managed to arrive in half an hour. I had to drag Tohka away from shops that caught her eye. "PLEASEEE!
LET ME BUY THOSE! I WANT THEM!"
"No! We have to get to the arena, then we can go shopping."
"BUT I WANT TO GO NOOOWWWW!"
That is how our half hour journey went.
Third person POV
Kira and Tohka finally managed to get to the coliseum. As they entered, they started to hear the sounds. Cheering. Screams. Shouts. Metal clashing on metal. 'Everything you would expect from an establishment such as this.'
"Can I help you?" A large man sat at the receptionist's desk. "We would like to fight and prove ourselves to a God or Goddess." He nodded. "I see. I believe that you wish to be together?" They nodded and the man gave them their team number: 777.

"Follow the signs to the waiting room. You'll have to wait a while before you go because there are a lot of people here."
Nodding their thanks, they left as another pair came in. Probably another couple they might fight.
The pair followed the signs just like the male receptionist told them to. They reached a room and opened the door. Looking in, they saw hundreds of people standing around. "Quite a strange place, huh." Kit commented on the amount of people with the strange outfits and weapons. As they entered, they kept together.
Five minutes later, the pair Kira saw entering the coliseum opened the door. They were both women and looked quite different from each other. One had long, blue hair and a black tattoo on the bottom of her neck. Her friend,on the other hand, had short pale blonde hair and wore armour clearly made for heavy infantry. She carried a claymore on her back.
The blue haired lady looked around with eyes full of scorn. 'Oh boy...' She drew her saber and raised it up high.
"Tohka, get behind me." Tohka complied and just as the saber was swung, Kira summoned his only defensive spell: Blazing flame of the fire dragon.
Putting his fireball in front of him as quickly as he could, he barely managed to stop the attack the woman sent at everyone. Kira closed his eyes
The fireball snuffed out. 'It's cold.' Kira slowly opened his eyes and was shocked. Ice. It was everywhere. It was on the walls, the ceiling, the floor and the competitors. Tohka hugged Kira from behind.
Kira looked at the blue haired lady in shock: She had just killed hundreds of people in one attack!
He glared at her and she looked back with indifference. Breaking off her gaze, she snapped her fingers and with schink all of the ice shattered and disappeared along with anyone unfortunate enough to get caught up in it.
Kira looked back. There, several people stood angrily glaring at the blue haired girl.
'Well, since you attacked me, isn't it fair I do the same to you?' Kira brought his hand up in a javelin thrower's position and summoned lightning spear. The blue haired girl noticed this and grinned. She faced Kira and they looked at each other's faces... Or mask in this case...
Tohka prepared to rush them; she drew her broadsword. "Stop. They attacked us once. We attack once as well." Kira scolded her without taking his eyes of the blue haired girl.
He stepped forward, flinging the spear straight at the girl.
The spear flew straight at her. She narrowed her eyes and drew out her saber in wide arc. As she drew it, ice formed and hardened on the blade.
The frozen saber hit the spear. It knocked away the first half, but the girl didn't receive a chance to blow away the second.
"ARRGGGGHHHHH!!" The blue haired girl screamed in pain but for a moment; collapsing on one knee. Her saber propped her up.
"Esdeath!" The pale haired girl ran up to her to help, but was stopped by her hand. "I brought this upon myself. Leave me be." She pushed herself up and stood up. She looked at Kira with her head held high.
Kira nodded, acknowledging her strength.
"Hello everyone." A man with white hair and bartender suit entered the building. Clearly he was the man that they were told to wait for.
"Please follow me. You will be fighting shortly."
