Riria - Chapter 11

"Ahhh!" Riria stumbled back.

The man stumbled into a weak standing position. Even though he looked incredibly frail, a strange reddish aura radiated off him in waves.

His hand slowly moved towards the sword on his back, whilst the flames in his eye socket grew steadily bigger.

"Hello?" She said "I saved you life y'know"

But her words didn't seem to have any effect. The man tightened his grip on the hilt of his sword and began to pull it out, His right eye was still glazed over almost making it seem like he was already dead. "Die" He weakly shouted. Flames started to pour out of his body.

Riria quickly backed further away, but her back soon hit the wall of the cave opposite the exit. She pulled out her own sword and readied herself for a fight.

She could feel the heat approaching closer and closer, but suddenly it disappeared. The man was still standing in front of her, but the flames in his socket were gone and his other eye was closed.

"Pfft" She let out a small giggle "He really fell asleep, huh?"

-A bit later-

Sirus slowly came back to himself. 'I'm still alive? What happened? Shouldn't the fatal sickness affliction have killed me by now?' His body was still largely numb, but feeling was slowly starting to return to him. 'Mmm, what's this soft and warm pillow? This feels a lot better than the stone floor I've been sleeping on till now' He shifted himself and buried his head further in the warmth.

"Mmmh" He heard a soft moan coming from right above him.

He slowly cracked open his eyes to investigate and laid his eyes upon a woman. She had luxurious and rich straight black hair, along with a set of gemstone like sapphire eyes.

Sirus slowly looked around, he was lying on the floor with his head... buried in the woman's lap. His face instantly flushed red and he quickly tried to get up.

His arms quickly gave out under the effort though and his face fell back onto the woman's soft thigh, alerting her to his awakeness.

She moved her hand onto his hand and slowly started patting his soft white hair, "Your body is still weak from the Fatal Sickness, you should rest for now."

He tried to speak but his face was still covered by her thigh, resulting in a vibrating "Mmph!"

She let out a giggle, "It's alright just get some sleep." she said, now starting to stroke Sirus' hair.

He let out a groan of pleasure, 'She doesn't seem to be hostile... And it feels so nice, maybe I should just get some sleep like she said.' His eyes were already closing though, and he drifted off into the most comfortable sleep he'd had in a long time.

---

Waking up again, Sirus opened his eyes and found himself still in the woman's lap. He decided to try to sit himself up again, this time he had enough strength to pull it off and was now sitting face to face with the woman.

For a long while he just stared at her beautiful face, entranced by her features. Slowly his gaze moved downwards and he spotted her voluptuous breasts. His face reddened again and he looked further down to try to hide it but his face only got redder when his eyes landed... in that area.

"Done staring?" She asked.

If it was possible for his face to flush even further, he would have. "U-uhm..." But he quickly remembered he had questions to ask. "Who are you?"

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

She gave him an indignant look "I saved your life and this is how you repay me?"

"I-It's not that its just-"

She gave a small laugh "Relax, I know why you're asking so i'll tell you: I used to live in the Magic Kingdom right above this place, but ever since I was a little girl I wasn't really all that interested in magic, but my parents forced me to attend a magic academy. I was sort of a terrible student but I managed to pass, and at the end of my 4 years there we got to select a class, and as I said before I didn't really like magic so when one of the options I got to choose was 'Sword Spirit' That's what I picked. But soon after some of the king's soldiers executed my parents and then picked me up and threw me down here!" She ended her story with a sad smile.

She seemed sincere in her telling, so Sirus believed her, their stories were remarkably similar so it seemed like that king had a habit of hating all things sword-related.

"What's your story then?" She asked.

He recounted his own experiences up until falling into the pit to her.

"That king really is a bastard." She said after he finished. "But for now, d'ya want to work together with me?"

Sirus was lonely, even when he was with the others from earth, he still felt somewhat left out. 'Perhaps she could be the cure to my loneliness, and... her lap was really comfortable...'

Definitely for the first reason, he accepted. Perhaps she could be useful in a fight too.

"Oh that reminds me, let me check your condition." Without waiting for me to accept, she chanted "Condition!"

She muttered thoughtfully for a few seconds. "Looks like you're all fine now."

"Alright, I'm going to go train then" Said Sirus

"I wasn't able to sleep from you tossing and turning around in my lap last night, so ill catch some sleep"

He gave a nervous laugh and scratched the back of his head, "Sorry 'bout that." He quickly scampered out of the cave.

But he suddenly remembered he'd forgotten to ask something important... Her name! So he popped back into the cave and asked her, to which she responded "Riria, Yours?"

"Sirus" He quickly said and excused himself.

He had some new ideas on Series' he could create, most of them involving the use of Wrath Aura Manipulation.

He moved over to a remote area in the cavern and pulled out his sword, he then coated it in his flames of wrath and swung it diagonally. Nothing happened. His idea was to be able to seperate the flames from his sword when his slash finished, and launch the flames forward in a crescent of flames.

His first attempt yielded no results, so he tried something different this time, instead of pushing his flames directly into the sword he tried to keep them on the edge of the blade, doing so he slashed again.

"BOOM!" At the end of the slash, instead of shooting out in a crescent it blew up in Sirus' face.

"Ugh" It hurt him, but not that much, they were his own flames after all.

Trying again, this time he stuffed the flames right into the very edge of the sword and tried to draw a crescent, this time it worked, but the crescent didn't shoot forwards, it only floated where it was and slowly shrunk.

Before it could fully shrink, he tried to use his sword to hit the floating crescent and force it forwards.

"BOOM!" Again, it blew up but Sirus felt he was on to something.

He drew the crescent in the air again but this time he coated the sword in flames again before he tried to hit it. This time the crescent flew forwards successfully and made a deep slash in the cavern wall.

"Amazing!" Now that he finally had a long range attack, he would be able to fight against some of the magic type monsters roaming around.

"It would be even better if I could make this into a skill though..." Thinking so, he drew around 10 crescents in a line and ran back hitting each with his sword.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

Each crescent hit the cavern wall and made a deep slice.

"Now I just need to do this a thousand more times." He said whilst panting.

[Skill Created: Wrath Painting

Description: Draw attacks with your flames of wrath and manipulate them with your blade.

Grade: B+]

"Phew" He said, thoroughly exhausted, "This is my first skill above 'E' grade, and it's a 'B+'!"

According to the description of the skill he didn't just have to draw crescents like he was doing before, he could draw or 'paint' pretty much whatever he wanted.

Attempting to test this out, he drew a crude scene of mountainous landscape and hit it into the side of the cavern. It barely did anything. Looks like some shapes were more effective than others, such as the crescent which did a lot more damage than the landscape.

Trying it again, he drew a circle this time, again it wasn't quite as effective as the crescent but it did more damage than the landscape painting had.

He then drew many other shapes, a bird, a wolf head, a triangle, an arrow, but none really worked all that well, so he decided to put off finding more effective shapes for a later date.
