The Ghoul Edgar was controlling guided the newly named Luna outside the manor and towards a nearby cave.
Upon exiting the manor they were illuminated by the rays of the Sun.
Differently from Vampires or Ancestors, neither Lunarians or Ghouls are affected by Sunlight and so they entered in a carriage led by a pair of black horses.
“The travel is around 30 minutes long.” The voice of the old Vampire escaped from the Ghoul.
“I see. Very well, I will meditate on my Mana.”
She concentrated on herself quickly finding the location of her Mana Core, a metaphysical organ that produces and stores Mana within all beings with a Soul.
She directed her will on the Mana Core, quickly taking control of said Mana.
A normal individual would have found it a simple, but lengthy process depending on talent, but this was already the third time she did that and so, even if without memories, it was more instinct than anything else.
This process was rendered even easier by the fact that, because of her Unique Skill, her Mana was impossibly uniform and so it didn’t fight her or itself.
She nodded before opening her eyes to a message from the System.
This was only the first step that she could do while in the carriage for the sake of efficiency and now it was time for the second step.
She quickly manipulated around 10 Mana within her body to strengthen it.
This process was also relatively quick thanks to the combination of her Unique Skill, her Growth Skill, her new “Mana Control” Skill until the Spell was Casted before being Dispelled.
At the 17th time this cycle was conducted, she smiled as she was now accustomed to the feeling of casting a No Attribute Sorcery as the System acknowledged soon after.
She Casted the same Spell again noting the difference with and without the support of the Skill being over 10% more effective.
She opened her eyes and asked her new acquaintance through his Ghoul.
“So, what can you tell me about the Monsters around here?”
As she asked Edgar, she started manipulating her Mana from her Mana Core to the outside of her body in a pointy shape.
“Normally this island only has Low-Ranked Monsters and not even that many. However a Red Moon literally just ended and while most of the Monster will have been killed by the few Low and Mid-Ranked Hunters on this Island, a lot will have survived, grown stronger and Evolved because of its influence. Now, what are you doing?”
He asked upon seeing her repeatedly make a pointy mass of Mana before Dispelling it and Casting it again in a slightly more pointed mass.
“I’m acquiring, reacquiring? Mana Shaping now that I have No Attribute Sorcery.”
“I see. Well, we are almost at a cave. There should be at least some Monster for you to kill and, as an insurance, this Ghoul is combat oriented so it should be able to protect you if necessary. All the same, if you see a D-Rank Monster, be extremely careful.”
She rolled her eyes while continuing to make and remake what could now be seen as a Mana Dagger.
“If you aren’t ready to risk your life, you will never be able to reach your full power. Any and every fight should be an opportunity for you to become stronger and an occasion to grow.”
A sigh escaped him at that answer and before he could properly comment on it, she briefly smiled as a perfect Mana Dagger appeared in her hand, a dagger that looked like it was made of glass.
“Do you know why my previous self concentrated on these Skill for battles? Well, the reason is simple and I’m now certain of it. An higher Rank of my “Singularity” negates the sustain cost of my Spells in general and the Durability of my Mana Constructs. I have no doubt about it.”
“I see. That would certainly explain some things regarding the battle between the previous you and my Master. How precise, we have arrived.”
“As expected of me.”
She nodded to herself, a satisfied smile on her face, as she left the caravan before then entering the cave before them without hesitation nor tentative to hide in any way.
Edgar rolled his eyes in his real body while his Ghoul proceeded after the newborn Lunarian.
After a short walk she found herself before a one-meter tall figure with a green, coarse skin, a big nose, big dull yellow eyes and a twisted expression that was transporting some sticks deeper in, clad in some brown pelt.
“Hey, you vermin. As the most beautiful thing you have ever seen and the last thing you will ever see, you should be grateful, you green rat.”
At the sound it dropped most of its haul before turning towards her with a stick before jumping at her trying to hit her with said stick.
She made three steps to the side, beyond the reach of said stick, before stepping in after the swing of what she recognized as a Goblin landing a punch directly on the side of its head sending it crashing into the wall of the cave.
Before he could even fall to the ground, Luna was already on it landing a kick directly against the center of his chest to knock its breath out of him before kicking its falling head with her heel sending it crashing to the ground.
She did not hesitate, she rose her hand before punching down against its chest releasing Mana through her fist, the Spell Mana Burst, destroying its chest and killing it in the process.
She took it by its head and forcefully bit down on its troat starting to quickly drain it of its green blood before dropping it, a bloodless carcass of skin and bones.

“How disgusting. Your blood tastes as foul as your worthless existence. It makes sense, after all, if your body had any worth, a plague like you would have been long since exterminated, pathetic and weak as you are.”
Having gifted her last comment upon its rests, she went forward without any hesitation.
“Did you gain any Skill?”
“Not yet. This in not an appropriate target for me to grow.”
“However you should have gained a considerable ammount of Magicules considering “Singularity”.”
“I suppose. If I was a normal Lunarian at E-Rank I would have gained a tenth, just 36 Magicules, while a Vampire or an Ancestor at my Rank would have gained only half of that,18.”
“Do you need to meditate on the Magicules to properly incorporate them?”
“There is no meaning in that. The stronger I am the lesser will be my growth against things like those. It’s more efficient if I incorporate them only when I have finished exterminating them.”
“What if you find yourself before a group of them? Or an higher Rank one? Or, even worst, a Mutated one, especially with a Red Moon, literally just over?”
“The group one is no problem. In the first place I fought it like that to measure its ability to think and strategize and I can only conclude that, at least at E-Rank, there is only a marginal difference in danger between 1 and 5 Goblins. Not only that, but there will be at most 7 remaining Goblins in this cave and the reason is because the Red Moon just ended.”
“Oh? Why don’t you explain more?”
She rolled her eyes, a superior expression on her face as she prepared to explain her point of view.
“Well, a Red Moon doesn’t just render Monsters stronger and more aggressive, but it also render them tireless and without any limit caused by Satiety yet it wasn’t Mutated nor Ranked Up and it was fully grown so at least one month old. Not only that, but all Monsters are born with an active Miasmic Core and so they can instinctively coat “weapons” to protect them yet it was bringing in sticks, not bones or weapon neither food. Goblins, in addition, don’t cook food because their tongue is not able to taste the difference, so the sticks are probably weapons. Consequently, there will not be any significant obstacles.”
“I see. You are bullshitting me, aren’t you?”
“What do you mean? Nothing I spoke is a lie, after all.”
“I know. However this is an excuse. You just want to fight.”
“You do know me well, don’t you?”
An happy smile was on her face as she happily hummed, her eyes scanning the area around them.
They entered in another section finding themselves before a group of three Goblins that were communicating through grunts and gestures with no weapon or improvised ones nearby, clads in brown pelts.
She didn’t hesitate and stepped forward before calling out to them.
“Hey, wastes of space, get out of my way or die.”
Upon her taunt the three Goblins jumped in surprise before turning towards her and one of them ran at her.
She rolled her eyes before dodging the clumsy punch and responding with one of her own directly on his large nose stunning it before grabbing it by its head and throwing it towards a second Goblin that was running towards her sending them crashing towards the ground while, at the same time, she dodged the grab from the third before quickly Shaping a Mana Dagger with 20 Mana cutting it on the flank before Dispelling it.
“I see. Death it is, you wretches.”
Goblin 1 and 2 tried to stand up while getting in each other way while Goblin 3 was spilling its green blood on the floor turning again towards the Lunarian meeting one of her eyes with its own.
“How disgusting. You are not worth looking at me so die.”
Having said that she turned fully towards Goblin 3 and started to move towards it, quickly reaching it, dodged its last attempt to attack and smashing her right punch directly on its forehead with a Mana Burst killing the third Goblin first.
She quickly dropped to the ground dodging Goblin 2’s assault before kicking Goblin 1 on his chest using Mana Burst sending it flying back before rolling left dodging the second attack of Goblin 2, standing up and grabbing Goblin 2’s left arm, pulling it towards her and kneeling it in the back and launching it at Goblin 1 again sending them crashing back to the ground.
While they were arguing again she stepped up to them and stabbed them both through their chest with a long mass of Mana, not a Mana Dagger but a Mana Lance.
She nodded before grabbing the three dead bodies and proceeding to suck their Blood.
“Do you have better tasting blood in your Mansion?”
“Don’t worry. Once in the Mansion you will have much tastier blood.”
“Very well. Just one left then.”
She said while regarding the Goblin that just arrived from deeper in, a 1,20 meter tall Goblin wielding a pointy stick in its right hand somewhat competently, clad in a black pelt and, the most noteworthy thing, having a third horizontal green eye on its forehead.
“I see. A Mutated D-Rank Goblin with some actual ability. This will be fun.”
She smiled as the two prepared to fight.
