Memories
Chapter 1
I don’t remember why, but I trusted them. All I knew in my life. When I was two years old, a woman came up to me. She had long blond hair that was up in a ponytail. She was wearing a long white dress and a necklace.I was on the streets at the time. I was a dirty, disgusting and ugly little girl. Pushed away by all that passed. I hated my life. She took me home. I was there for only a few months, but she was kind to me until I had to leave. Terrifying men took me away. I don’t know how long. It was black for what felt like months, and by what they told me, I think I was. I woke up in a dark blue room with no windows. It was full of stuffed toys on the ground. I got up and the woman came in. I ran into her arms. She sat me on the bed and turned on the lamp. She checked my pulse. For a few days, they were monitoring me. On the day I was meant to go back to the woman, something extraordinary happened. I used magic. I woke up in black flames. I scared myself looking at them and they disappeared. They hadn’t hurt me or hurt anything in the room. I tried to make them appear in my hand, and they came. That day it was my birthday. They found me in the room, terrified. They asked questions. They ended up convincing me to show them. I couldn’t go home but the woman visited me frequently. About when I was six, they started teaching me how to use a sword. Not many people used a sword at the time since there weren’t any monsters or wars. I mastered it quickly. When I was eleven though, I lost control. I wish I hadn’t. That pain I felt, was nothing I had ever felt before.
