Martial Realm
Neaograze Empire
Fargo Kingdom (Forest Region)
Xuan Martial Trouppe territory (Slave Camp 007)
After waiting seemingly forever the Main Trouppe sent scouts to the slave camp to recruit potential cultivation talents, They had limited this group to those within the ages of 7 and 15 as those who awaken their talent any later would be too slow to meet up with their peers as such the slave families did everything within their power to ensure they had multiple candidates come from their families.
The Sect had sent three scouts of different status within the Martial Trouppe, the first scout was a decently good looking Brown-haired male in his mid-twenties, He wore the uniform of a Trouppe Elder which was well deserved because he was already a Rank 9 Golden Core cultivator at such a young age and while the Clan was by no means weak being in charge of the Kingdom's security a Person of this Talent was definitely worth their weight in gold. He was Known a Sato Kiruzumi.
The Next scout was a female officer who was slightly younger than Sato, she was brought here to gain experience and add whatever input she may have, she was a Rank 1 Connate body Cultivator and also seemed to have a powerful artifact linked to her soul which close to none present could sense. She was known as Yue Yagami and was one of the most high-ranking officers in her group.
The Last scout however was the one who was to lead this scouting expedition, Is Known as Lydia Grinch, she was a middle-aged woman who looked to be in her early thirties despite her real age is unknown, it is, however, assumed that she is well over 60 as if she wasn't then she would be an absolute monster who was already a Rank 1 Nascent soul Cultivator in her Mid-thirties. This wasn't her only appeal though as even though she looked thirty her looks were by no means average she definitely still had her whilst that would turn heads of most men.
The three scouts made the Various registerees gather on the Arena stage within the camp allowing for the general populace to view the events of the recruitment from a distance within the stands. They set up an awakening crystal at the centre of the platform and Made all of the candidates line up according to their Number. An hour had passed and so far they had only selected four Children from the hundreds that came forth; *1* Hu Beng (15 years old), *47* Xu Mo (12 Years old), *113* Xu Mei (10 Years old) & *200* Yuchiro Yue (14 Years old). they had 500 hundred registries and had gotten to just about the last one.
"Number 500 come forward, you're our last candidate for today so make it quick", Lydia said in a snappy tone as she was disappointed by this years group of recruits from the slave camp were all disappointingly average, across all 10 slave camps the highest marked Talent amongst the Recruited Children was an 8 year old who made the awakening crystal turn Blue. The Crystal didn't actually awaken their talent for cultivation as it more of assessed it and gave them rank according to colour, but the only way to get the slave families to cooperate was to tell a little white lie.
The colour scheme was as follows; white for foundation level talent, yellow for connate Level talent, Blue golden core level talent, Orange for Formatipn level talent and Black for Nascent level talent, yet nobody was able to meet up with the brat who secured a Blue mark. Everyone here was either white mark or none responsive, she only picked those four because it at least meant they could become proper cultivators rather than just beating themselves up daily to make any progress.

A boy standing at about 4 foot 2, he had a lean build and surprisingly he actually had a decently muscular frame, He wasn't a full body builder but he had averagely defined muscles and had developing abs and sides, one could only tell this however because the boy wore nothing but a pair of black shorts and sandals. He had a creamish conplaaxion along with short white hair that looked rough, his eyes were an intense shade of red and he had an overall handsome facial features a point that everyone noticed despite his age.
"Looks like we have a future playboy on out hands", Lydia thought with a smirk as she found at least something to indulge herself with, if the worst case arrived she would develop the boy to become the number one enemy of all males within the martial troppe and watch his interactions for entertainment. "Zhu Longwei of the no affiliation", The boy said as he clasped his hands in a quick bow. He courteousness already earned him a few points in Lydia's book.
"Alright make your way to the awakening crystal and see what your future holds for you", Lydia said with a smile, this however was immediately doused in cold water by what he said next. "Sorry but I refuse... That is not an awakening crystal but rather a Talent assessment deviceembedded in a crystal", Longwei said with a glint. "Looks like I might not have to worry about making him the number one enemy of the academy, he's already laying the ground work", Lydia lamented internally as she expect to be called out by this 9 year old brat.
The crowd was in a state of confusion as to what he meant, at least before some of them decided to get a little balsy.
"How Dare you question the sincerity of the main sect you brat?!"
"Yeah are you trying to bring down a calamity on our camp??"
"Insolent fool how dare you disrespect senior Lydia"
These were but some of the criticisms being hurled at Longwei which he ignored with a plain and uninterested face. A few members of the riot who were annoyed by his blatant disrespect to their opinions that they started hurling stones at him asking for him to be put to death before he cursed their camp. In truth everyone knew why this going on, They really did to care about any of the nonsense they were saying, they were just hoping to make sure this no name brat didn't get in while so their children would not be put to shame.
Even with rocks flying at him he simply letr them hit him only bothering to dodge the much larger ones that would cause him injury. Lydia had seen enough of this pathetic display and an released her killing, "Silence you incompetent Idoits!!", She demanded silencing the crowd. Even if she remained silent the pressure she released alone forced practically everyone to a grovelling position as they clenched their heads due to the onslaught of pressure. Lydia was then shocked again when she saw Longwei just standing their with an indifferent expression as if nothing was going on, some fully grown adults had already passed out and he was just standing there like he was in line to receive a boring gift like a glass cup or something.
Lydia focused her full intent on Longwei who was slightly bothered this time but only to the point of minor discomfort rather than the insurmountable pain the rest of the camp felt, hell even the other scouts were visibly frightened like by the pressure yet he was completely stone faced throughout the entire ordeal, with a smirk of satisfaction Lydia retracted her killing intent and stood up walking towards the crystal. "To all of you morons that believed he was wrong and critised him for pointing out an obvious truth you have been identified and will be moved to the mines for three months as punishment.
They were obviously dissatisfied but how could they refute her when she could kill them without as much as moving her hand, "What this boy has said is the truth, this is a talent assessment device and only those whose talent was seen as worthy enough would receive a chance to awaken the rcultivation talent... As a matter of fact there is no such thing as an awakening crystal rather it is a pill that forces your body into a state of enlightenment that makes cultivation possible", Lydia summarised with a look of disappointment in the crowds stupor, while she couldn't expect the same from other children she at least thought the adults would be intelligent enough to figure out what she was saying.
"In anycase for his feet of knowledge Zhu Longwe not only passes the assessment but regardless of martial talent he will be allowed to cultivate in theMartial trouppe as my personal disciple", That last part shocked the other two scouts who remained silent despite their judgement on her decision, passing him without trial was understandable but making him her personal disciple was a benefit even officers of the main sect didn't dare to covet.
