Reader's P.O.V
Three hours had passed since the scuffle with Lydia and all seemed to be going well, the boys were well-rested and the Carriage was less ready to go, as long as they left now they would make it to the main sect within the day, maybe even within the hour so long as there were no further distractions.
The group finally got into the carriage and were just about ready to set off the candidates just needed to rest up enough to get a move on, Hu Beng and Mo's were up but Longwei was still unconscious and they were guarding him in the carriage as the Scouts had an emergency meeting elsewhere. Xu Mo stood leaning on the carriage door outside with his eyes shut but not asleep, Hu Beng sat on the Carriage stairs with a serious expression on his face, he was still bandaged but wore his clothes over them, Xu Mei was sitting down in the carriage asleep even though she was supposed to be watching Longwei's condition.
Neither of the boys minded though, mostly because they were aware that Longwei was just heavily fatigued for the most part so there wasn't any reason to be angry at her. "I know it's what you said earlier, but don't expect me to believe for even a second that you are willing to help longwei get into the sect", Xu Mo said not moving an inch from where he stood. "So let me prove my loyalty to the cause", Hu Beng said getting up and standing before Xu Mo.
"And what If I refuse to accept it... people have spent years in vain trying to convince you they are not your enemy yet you expect me to believe some brat you attacked managed to pull it off??", Xu Mo asked finally opening his eyes," Or let me guess as usual you are going for a flight or fight response where you either beat me up or start scheming huh?!... Tell me why I should believe a word you say!!!", Xu Mo demanded in fury grabbing Hu being By his shirt. Hu Beng tried shaking Xu Mo's grip but was unsuccessful at it being backed by iron body.
Hu Beng gritted his teeth and kicked Xu Mo forcing him to loosen his grip and shoving him towards the carriage. Xu Mo was about to further comment but Hu Beng's actions shocked him into silence. After freeing himself from Xu Mo's grip Hu Beng dropped to his and slowly lowered his head with his hands clasped. "I have always been a person who believed talk is cheap, which is probably going to make my next few words very hypocritical... Longwei despite me treating him like an enemy risked his life and future to go against Lydia to save me from a punishment I brought upon myself, arrogant as I am I know I would have died today if not for that boy", Hu Beng said before a slight pause.
"As such with that in mind, my life from this point forward will be solely dedicated to bettering him, the one person I truly acknowledge as superior to myself", Hu Beng declared with a kowtow towards the carriage before rising to his feet. "One more thing though, test or not If you ever refer to longwei as a brat again... You won't get off with a meager kick", Hu Beng said with a side glare to Xu mo laced with killing intent. Xu Mo chuckled lightly and walked into the carriage shaking his head.
Heavenly Realm
The capital city of Gracia
Sage's tower of the Central region
A Balcony at the very top of the tower
Many could only dream of what could make a man leave a place like this, this tower had the perfect view of the Capital city even allowing one to see the silhouette of the other four towers, other than that since the tower's neared the clouds the qi up here was rich enough to make even the top warriors of the heavenly realm run mad with joy, most feel it a waste for such a rich resource to go to a cripple Like Zhu Longwei, that being said this very group of individuals also agree that his works and honors made him worthy of such benefits regardless of his Martial talent as he still made good use of it.

The Central tower unlike the others which had mostly been turned into easily accessible chambers of wealth creation this tower was a chamber of knowledge, all the sacred techniques and teachings of Longwei throughout his century-long life of endless discovery was stored here not to be accessed till a new tower master was appointed. The only reason it had been closed for a decade, however, was simply because no matter your talent to claim that you were worthy of succeeding longwei with any achievements to match his own was simply begging to be executed on the spot.
Be it the Sole cultivators that curried favor with the City Lord of Heaven or the major organizations that have their wealth of knowledge, many coveted this information but close to none had the nerve to even attempt to present a candidate to replace Longwei. A major reason was the 25 guardians of the tower, the most talented of all Zhu Longwei's disciples as well as candidates for tower master, outside these people nobody was even close to qualifying.
On This very balcony however sat two of said disciples, they stood at the end of the balcony leaning on the railing. To The right, leaning with his backside was a well known young man, amongst the Top disciples he ranks 9th with those above him being too powerful for him to handle alone, He is a well-respected cultivator only referred to by his title as few dared to utter his real name, The Last Seraph known to be alive, Xiao Bo-lin. He stands at a solid 6 foot 1, he has bright orange hair that is high and spiky, he had a light cream complexion with a lean build and red eyes, He wore a red hunting top with brown shorts and boots only wearing a silver necklace around his neck with a silver ring attached to it.
On the left however sitting on the ground with her back rested on the railing was the rank 22nd disciple, the Which of the west Lucy Gracefield, she stands at 5 foot 11, she has a lean figure as well as a killer figure to match. She has a plain cream complexion, her hair is short and dark purple, she has aqua blue eyes and wears a silver Tiara on the head with a neon green stone at the crest point. she wore a woolen top under a brown vest and over a brown skirt, she wore brown sandals and a pair of iron braces on her wrists and shins. Both of them were very well capable of turning heads wherever they went as could a good portion of Longwei's disciples.
"Alright so tell me again, what the hell happened while I was in my isolation training??", Bo-lin asked to be sure of what he was hearing as these revelations were bound to be a headache. "It won't change no matter how many times you hear it but Young Mistress Meili is on the run because that Mo Fu dumbass is tracking her trying to force her to pass the power to him... with him being the second strongest and the younger brother of the strongest disciple, very few would oppose him should the matter come to light... with Mo Linlin completely interested in the title of palace master it's practically his for the taking", Kucy summarised with a tone of visible annoyance.
"I assume the other palaces are trying to push for the palace selection now that we are in a weakened state correct??", Bo-lin asked with a facepalm. "Yup, Mo Fu is pulling all the strings he can to have the disciples that refused to support him boycotted and we are prime targets on his list", Lucy groaned as she created a yo-yo with qi and started to fiddle with it. "What's his current cultivation base??", Bo-lin asked. "It doesn't matter how powerful he is personally Linlin is a Rank 2 Grand supremo and her cultivation base is quickly settling... with her sights set much higher she will likely use her brother's position as tower master to show her strength off", Lucy said finally getting up from her slumped position.
"In that case, I guess there is only one way we are defeating Mo Fu in the future at all is to find Master reincarnation", Bo-lin said with a frown, "After all we all sensed his soul fall into the path of reincarnation and how carefully he was guided into his new life... if he has a talent for cultivation this time, he would be able to take care of Fu'ier in no time flat.
