CHAPTER THREE: A WATERY MESS
----------------------------------------
Snippet Three: A Messy Chamber
King Alcandor pants as he throws a cup at the wall. He hisses as the glass explodes and gets the attention of his Gheyos. "What! I'm busy, can't you tell?" He asks Crimson Tide.
"Yes, but I have been hearing noises outside your chamber so I thought to check on you." A dark purple Merrow says. "Is there anything wrong and are there heads to be destroyed?" Crimson Tide says, leaning against the door.
Alcandor hisses louder at Crimson Tide "Ha! Yes, there is something wrong! You heard my niece came back correct?" Crimson's head nods. "Well, apparently she is nameless with a pull to all elements. A royal merrow's daughter should have a full pull towards Water! Whoever kidnapped Alanni must've messed with her elements. Or it happened during the portal to Earth." He turns around and angrily kicks the lamp next to his desk. "And on top of that, she says any efforts to contact the Water Courts were rejected." He furiously jabs his finger into the desk. "You need to look into who would have had access at the time frame of her kidnapping and figure out who worked with the kidnappers." He sighs and slumps into the chair. "You may go. But, before you look into the Water courts with Alec, figure out four Merrow guards to be sent with Tobias. Alexia begged me to let her onto the surface to hunt so I am letting her. They need to be good on their feet and fast with their weapons." Alcandor signals for Crimson Tide to leave.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
"Yes, King Alcandor. Is there anything else I can do for you this evening?" Crimson says while about to close the door.
Alcandor closes his eyes and sighs. "Yes, please send in Queen Killigan. She should know that my niece has been found."
After the door is closed, Alcandor sits up straight and sends a message to Prince Raspen of the Earth Court. "Hello, Prince Raspen. This is King Alcandor. I know you a probably busy with your own circle, but I must let you know that my missing sister has been found. I am pronouncing her daughter, Alexia, to be the next royal Merrow Princess. Please let that shrimp brain cousin of mine know. He deserves to hear it from me and not from rumors."
He then clears his throat and sends a message to the next court. "Hello, Princess Dawn..."
