Snippet Nine (1): Plans are Washed Awry
Molly Barbeau storms into her hotel room and slams the door closed once her circle is inside the room. She looks at her Alpha. "Troy, if we are ever told to go back to Earth, please decline for me." She sits on the couch and stares at the wall. "Over 500 years has my circle stayed on Earth due to their directives..." She sobs and throws herself into the arms of her Pareya.
Derek looks at his submissive with fondness in his eyes. "Yes. Your family was betrayed by the Air Courts." He caresses her face as she glares at him. "But think of it this way, you wouldn't have met our daughter had your family not been on Earth. You wouldn't have met Troy or Joni. You wouldn't have met ME." He wipes the tears off her face. "You wouldn't have our lovely, missing granddaughter had you not been on Earth." She inhales a breath and sits up from Derek's lap. He kisses her forehead. "This circle wouldn't be here if you had not been on Earth." He looks at his fellow circle mates. "The Air Court will regret their decision in time, my heart. Something will happen and your family will not be there like it has in the past." He nuzzles his marking on her shoulder before giving a look to their new Gheyo. "Gerrit, do you have many contacts here on Nevarah? We need to start the hunt for our granddaughter tonight."

Gerrit shuffles in place before looking at his new Pareya. "I'm sorry, but I only really came here for the hunt. I was supposed to secure lodging for my family that is coming from our home planet."
Troy sighs before looking at everyone. "I don't think this conversation should happen while we are all still upset by what the Crown Princess has told us. Why don't we go to sleep and then think of what to do in the morning. Hopefully by then, Alexia has contacted us."
They wouldn't hear anything back from her for another full day...
