Chapter 33 :

Chapter 33 :

Nighttime, when the nocturnal creatures prowl, when little kitties should be safely tucked inside their kitty homes. When they shouldn’t be attacked.

(Greeny) [Master, we got a problem.]

(Will) [Mew?]

Rubbing his eyes with a little white paw, Will sleepily answered Greeny.

Then stretching his tiny body, Will blinked open his eyes.

Hundreds of bright shining red eyes met his.

(Will) [Alright, what the hay happened? Little kitties should be sleeping at this time! It’s still nighttime, so why am I awake? Small cute things need their rest!]

(Greeny) [Well, we were guarding, master’s um… home. And these creatures showed up and just stood there. They don’t seem to have any kind of feelings and are slowly increasing in numbers.]

Trying to have a clear look at the surrounding creatures, Will didn’t like what he was seeing.

They looked like a giant ant. Black meter long body and was taller then his entire body. Then again, almost everything is taller than him, he is adorable after all. They really didn’t have useful weapons other than their mouthparts. However, if they take that danger level and multiply it by a couple hundreds, NOW they got a problem.

It is somewhat like what happens in a zombie apocalypse. At first there is only one zombie, weak, slow (normally), and stupid (brainless occasionally). Then it gets a couple people, who in turn get a couple more each.

Individually they’re weak, but as a swarm with no thought or fear of death? Well, then it ends up with situations where the entire world gets wiped out.

Killed a couple hundreds? Good for you! But you might have forgotten that you got the rest of the world’s population to go. Good luck! You’ll REALLY need it, as there have yet be a scenario where the survivors actually SURVIVE the entire event. Not just live longer than others, but really survive the new world and then thrive.

So when Will found out that he was surrounded by giant, man-eating? Ants. He did not feel very happy.

(Greeny) [Master, they’re starting to move at us! Their crossing the defenses! What should we do?]

A idea popped into Will’s head.

As he watched the red eyes getter bigger and bigger, a sudden quote came into Will’s head.

It went, “Fight fire with fire!”.

So he did.

“MEW MEW!” (Summon Undeads!)

Flashing magic circles lit up the base. Groups of five cat zombies appeared within the light show and each group immediately rushed towards the bridge to defend.

As another group of cat zombies was sent off to reinforce the frontlines, Will checked up on his mana amount. Didn’t want to pass out during battle, that would be a really stupid death. Eaten while passed out. Or E.O! For eaten out.

---------------------

Mana : 20/40

---------------------

(Seems like I already made...20 zombies? 20 vs. a few hundred? Seems like I’ll need to add in tactics or something to balance things out a little.)

(Will) [Greeny, what’s your situation?]

(Greeny) [Well, my mates and I are defending the entrance to the base master. But even with your minions, we won’t be able to hold out for long. They also seem to not feel pain and are attempting to break through the wooden spike defenses.]

(Seems like we got a major problem...wonder what they want? Food? Water? CUTENESS?)

A little side note, the giant ants that they are being attacked by is actually ranked F-. As in if they were graded in terms of strength and danger levels. They literally FAIL. How they do that? Well let's discuss their species. They are known as Black Ants or Black Ant Queen’s Spawn.

There is only one Black Ant Queen in every group, and the Queen gives birth to hundreds of thousands of Black Ants every day. Each one is connected to something similar to a hive mind with the Queen in the center. Whatever she wants, happens. Well at least they try to make it happen.

Usually, the main thing the Queen wants is substance, a.k.a food. The Black Ants then in turn tries to get it. Here we reach the main reason they are ranked so low.

The Black Ants are like ridiculously WEAK. Their only appendage that could be used for combat is their mouth claws and pincers. Not to mention that they are rather slow compared to the other monsters in the world. Even a Goblin is faster than them and that’s just by it jogging.

In terms of brute strength, well you know that idea where ants can carry things many times heavier than themselves? These Black Ants don’t follow that. A toddler could press down one of these on the ground if they put their entire weight on it’s back.

They’re slow, weak, and the only thing they got going for them is their numbers. Oh, and the Queen is a herbivore.

Due to the kind of soft and tasty looking leaves that Will made, at least to the Black Ants. They wanted to take some and give it to their Queen so they attacked to acquire the food.

Misunderstanding the situation, Will summoning a bunch of cat zombies really just set the entire thing into a even bigger problem. In fact the Black Ants only wanted to leaves, they couldn’t care less about the living creatures around it. They didn’t even attack other things unless it wanted to harm the Queen. So they really didn’t want to fight, it was just that both sides had the wrong idea and started to get into a massive battle.

(Greeny) [Master, some of them had crossed over the wooden spikes! They’re moving through the 2nd defensive layer!]

(Will) [Yeah, I can see that….you know when I made this base, I didn’t think we would be attacked by monster who didn’t have FEET.]

Black Ants who crossed the wooden spikes, swiftly crossed the second spike filled layer of defences. As they only have thin rodlike legs, the spikes did almost nothing to them. The group quickly moved towards the third and last layer of defense.

That also didn’t do anything to them.

(How do they just walk up a almost perfectly vertical wall? They’re cheating somehow! I demand a redo!)

Will stood near the moat he made that was filled with black spikes. Watching a few dozen Black Ants crawl up the wall after crossing through the moat.

(Better get the girls…)

Almost forgetting the Beastkin girls, Will turned around to wake them up.

Although they seemed to have already been awoken by the noises he probably made, as the thin filtered white moonlight lit up their faces.

Expressions of curiously was mixed with a bit of fear was on each of their faces. Though the reason for the curiosity is rather strange, but then again, whatever floats your boat I guess?

Somewhat wondering about their expressions, Will then decided to throw the idea into the back of his mind, as he was really busy at the moment to deeply ponder about it.

(Well, I wonder if they can be used for anything? Meatshields? Decoy? Appetizer? Nah, they already got the best role of all, being a part of CUTENESS!)

Thinking about trivial things, Will prepared himself as he got ready to battle the approaching Black Ants.

(They are about...8, 9? Seems like there’s backup as well, time to show them who’s boss, and teach them a lesson while I’m at it.)

“GROWL”

(I forgot to eat...what else I got? Zombies? Already made some, and it doesn’t seem like they're really that effective. Numbers won’t get me anywhere. Then, my other jobs? Tamer is out, since I already got Greeny. What can I do with Farmer? Grow a plant or something? HA! Like THAT’S gonna work!)

Laughing to himself inwardly, Will went through each of his choices and systematically eliminate each one. Until there were no choices.

(Well then...guess I’ll, um, fight with this?)

Staring at his cute tiny little white paws and then at the approaching group of Black Ants as they almost reached the surface from the moat, he decided that there would definitely be some problems. In fact, there is a rather BIG problem.

(Time to jump ship!)

Getting ready to book it, as they say. Will prepared to run the hell out of there while getting the zombies to block the Black Ants from attacking the others.

With that thought in mind, Will felt Beastkin Girl #4 walk right next to him and peered into the moat at the Black Ants.

Then she dropped a bunch of green leaves that seems awfully familiar to Will right onto the bodies of the Black Ants.

(Did she lose it? Or is that just me?)

Wondering about the sanity of his...acquaintance. Will glanced at the Blue haired Beastkin who stood cool as a cucumber as she continued to observe the Black Ant’s reaction after she threw the leaves used for their towels at them.

And such a reaction it was. The moment the leading Black Ant caught the thrown green leaves, it immediately turned around and directly headed back the way it came. The rest of the nearby Black Ants seeing that the objective was in their hands, like a group of bodyguards, surrounded the one carrying the leaves and returned back with it.

Like a tide, the moment the other Black Ants saw the leaves, they switched right into guard mode and clustered around the leaf carrier.

By the time the group got to the outside area of the base, the entire group of Black Ants had stopped their invasion and circled protectively around the lone Black Ant, as if it was the god they had been waiting for.

Disappearing into the forest, the entire group of Black Ants became nothing but shadows, blending in with the background.

(Alright...what just happened? We got attacked, I summoned help, almost got swarmed, then #4 threw her towel at them, and they left just like that? I’m missing something here...could it be that my original idea about them being carnivores are wrong? They’re HERBIVORES? With those looks?)

And Will learned a rather valuable lesson about how appearances isn't the whole book. Actually they don't really matter half the time as it's the CONTENT that matters or their insides, it somewhat depends on what you're talking about really.

(Well guess that was a thing. Now time to start my experiments seeing that everyone else are also awake and I'm probably not getting any sleep anytime soon.)

Figuring that everything was all good now, Will called back his cat zombies back and had Greeny and his mates guard the entrance to the base via the black bridge.

Meanwhile, the Beastkin girls just kinda went back, they didn’t really seem worried about the entire thing at all.

(Wonder if they knew this would happen or something? Oh, well, time for experimenting!)

Mana : 20/40

------------------

(What happened to my faster-ish regeneration? Didn’t it go up way faster than before? How weird...well it probably was just my imagination then. Let’s try something now.)

Mewing to himself, Will rubbed his small little paws together in a remarkably similar way to a merchant as he commanded one of the zombies to stand in front of him.

Gathering mana in his paws, Will touched the zombies forehead with it, transferring the mana right into the zombie’s body.

(Let’s see…)

Minions :

Zombie : 20 (Level 1) X 19 (Level 2) X 1

Gender : Unchosen

Race : Zombie (Cat)

Level : 2/10

Mana : 0/0

Time : 1 Hour 28 Minutes

-------------------------

(That’s new, now there’s a time? I wonder if it's trying to tell me something? It’s forgetful? Something like that I guess…)

Seeing that there isn’t any observable changes from the zombie leveling up once, Will proceeded to do it more, 9 more times to be precise.

Just enough for it to hit max level.

--------------------

DING!

The host’s creation(s) has reached their max level.

The host can now choose its next evolution.

----------------------

(That’s new. It seems like there are a bunch of things I’m NOT getting from the system as I keep finding out things that I should be aware of beforehand...I wonder why?)

Not very amused by the thought of it, Will’s unhappiness was blown away when the screen changed.

-------------------------

Unknown is able to evolve to the following forms :

Skeleton (Level 1) - Wondered how they created skeletons? Well here you go!

Brute (Level 1) - You need a meatshield? You got a meatshield!

Ghoul (Level 1) - Remember Rosario Vamp*ire? HERE’S Tsuku*e!

--------------------------

(Interesting, I feel weirded out that for some reason or another, they know about anime and manga and are making lame jokes about the evolutions. Wonder who’s operating the entire system thing? Nah, I’ll just worry about my life. Now what to choose…)

---------------------

Skeleton (Level 1)

Somehow, them set of bones are moving around, you know anything about this Jon? Oh, YOU’RE Jon. I’m sorry you’re going to have to speak up. I can’t hear you over that rattling of your bones there.

As somehow, MAGIC is keeping the bones attached and really strong. Seems like learning physics was pointless eh? More intelligent than zombies and faster, mainly due to that they are WAY lighter.

Skills :

Bone Armory (Level 1)

-----------------------

---------------

Brute (Level 1)

Ever seen those muscular, heavyweight dudes? Well you can now get one of them yourself! They make perfect tanks and shields for anything! Magic coming at you? MEATSHIELD! Arrow barrage flying your way? MEATSHIELD! Oh, right sorry, BRUTE! There you are, haha. Possessing greater physical strength than their previous evolution, zombies. They are more sturdy and can take far more hits, however they sacrifice their speed and agility as payment.

Skills :

Accelerated Regeneration (Level MAX)

---------------------

----------------

Ghoul (Level 1)

When you see one of these guys, run in the opposite direction as soon as possible. Can’t cause they already saw you? Then run faster! Still trying to outrun the UNDEAD? Poor you… say you got any buddies running by you? Oh, you do? Well that’s good. As the saying goes, you don’t need to outrun the undead, you just need to run faster than your buddy. Good luck!

Faster speed than the zombies, but not as weak as the skeleton, these guys are a rather balanced type able to both shield and attack. However they have no real advantages and tends to be taken out faster than the other kinds of evolutions, but hey whatever floats your boat!

Skills :

Devourer (Level 1)

-------------------

(... Seems like the system is trying to make jokes or something. Well whatever, they seem to be different spilt roads for the zombies. We have speed, strength, and balanced. Time to see what their skills are, which oddly enough I don’t remember seeing that the zombies having any skills. Or maybe I just never checked it.)

----------------

Bone Armory (Level 1)

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure! In this case, one dead body IS a treasure. Using a corpse, the skeleton can create a weapon or armor from the bones for itself.

Current Durability : Extremely Fragile

-----------------

---------------

Accelerated Regeneration (Level MAX)

What does every tank need? Longer lifetimes! Increasing the speed of the healing process to almost impossible level. If they weren’t already dead, they WOULD be dead, mainly from cancer.

Recovery Speed : Visible to the eye

--------------

----------------

Devourer (Level 1)

Remember your ability, Munchies? Well this is the knockoff version. When the user eats a part of the enemy, there is a chance that it can acquire a skill or job of the eaten. However it only works on those of a lower evolution.

Highest Evolution Tier : Base Evolution (1st Tier)

------------------

(Alright, so we got a really flexible, a really defensive, and a joker ability. What to choose?)

After thinking awhile, Will decided his choice.

(Why not choose all of them? I can get them all if I recover all my mana. Let’s start with the skeleton first then.)

Selecting the skeleton choice with his mind, Will waited for the effects to show.

A sudden beam of bright light fell out out nowhere from the sky. It encircled the max level zombie and as Will watched the zombie started to transform.

It’s skin disappeared, then it’s flesh and other “stuff”, like acid the light looked as if it was melting the zombie until it literally was only bones.

(You know, if this had some music and stuff, this would be the perfect Dig*mon digivolve for the zombie - in a really twisted and sick way though. Rather, where did that light come from? I don’t remembering see that before…not to mention I think we may just have kinda given away our position to a bunch of really dangerous monsters. Great, thanks you stupid evolution thingy.)

Unknown to Will, the light could only be seen only if the viewer was really close to them, as the maximum height was only a few meters above the zombie, now skeleton.

As if testing its new limbs, the skeleton moved around a bit while still bathe in the glow of the receding light beam.

(Alright, I’ll just fight whatever shows up later. For now, I should see my new minion’s stats.)

Thinking that, Will was prepared to view the stats, only to be jumped by 4 nearby cat zombies.

(What the crap?)

Dodging a swung paw, and a couple of bites. Will ordered the nearby newly created cat skeleton to attack the rebelling cat zombies.

Faithfully fulfilling its orders, the cat skeleton rushed at the 4 cat zombies and with a few well placed claw blows. Cleanly slashed off the connecting spinal cord from each.

Without signals to work with, the zombies just layed there. Creepily  twitching, as if they would return and try again to rip Will up and eat him.

(So what did I miss this time? I only created a skeleton...wait.)

-------------------------

Minions :

Job : Necromancer

(24/20)

- Number of Undeads :

Zombie : 19 (Level 1) X 19

Skeleton : 5  (Level 1) X 1

------------------------------

Seeing the screen, Will came to a realization.

(Ah, so if I create more than I can control then they berzerk? How interesting, I wonder if I can release them then.)

Attempting to release the hostile zombies, Will discovered that - he had absolutely no control over them now.

(Great, well I guess I’ll use the skeleton to try out it’s ability on them then.)

Of course completely ignoring the major problem of what would happen if he accidently mess up and let loose a zombie in a public place.

Mentally commanding the skeleton cat to crush the 4 zombie’s heads and then activate its skill “Bone Armory”.

Will watched as the skeleton cat clawed and stomp on one of the rebellious cat zombie’s head until it was finally dead. Then proceed to place its bony paws on the dead body.

Rippling waves could be seen going across the dead cat zombie’s body with the bony paws in the center.

Then like a balloon deflating, the cat zombie bit by bit became like a empty bag. The bones supporting its frame as if sucked in, rushed towards the center of the ripples. Soon the cat zombie was nothing but a layer of skin with a large bulge underneath the skeleton’s paws.

Similar to yanking a motor, the cat skeleton just raised it’s paws up and the bones like a magnet torn right through the skin and reassemble itself into a pair of - bone cat claw gauntlets.

Slipping it’s bony paws over the newly created paw weapons, the skeleton stood back in attention ready for Will’s next order.

Meanwhile, Will was watching, fascinated by what he was seeing.

(How INTERESTING! It like somehow was able to condense the bones into a really small size and turn it into a set of weapons. Definitely didn’t see that coming. Let’s check it’s status.)

(Seems like I can’t see it’s equipments or anything on it. Wonder if I can?)

Trying to get the system to show his the stats of the bone paw claws, Will tried to appraise the weapon.

And got nothing.

It seems that Will didn’t really have the ability to look at other thing’s stat and status screens without special means.

(A pity...Well guess I’ll just, dunno, make more of them? Then wouldn’t it be a waste of effort when they just disappear on me?)

--------------------

DING!

The host can inject mana to extend the time limit of the pure mana based summoned undeads.

The mana cannot be used for multiple things at the same time.

------------------

Now that he was rather used to the fact that the system only spits out important info when he somehow has a basic idea of it, Will isn't as annoyed as before.

He only tried burning the thing with a burst of “Flame Breathe”.

Which obviously didn’t work. A pity.

SOMEWHERE FAR, FAR, AWAY OR SOMETHING

(Tutorial Guide #18 aka ******) “He just tried to burn me! He can go *BEEP* HIS SMALL PUNY *BEEP* AND *BEEP* *BEEP* THAT *BEEP*

(?) “Whoa there! Chill, its not like he's not going to eventually cross paths with us again…”

Ignoring the advice, Tutorial Guide #18 cursed Will some more, and then fell silent. As if it suddenly remembered something from the past.

----------------------------

(So, guess I can just keep experimenting on them? Just get a couple of really strong dudes and then keep them in permanently frozen time and let them out when needed. Then rejuice their timespan and put them back. Purrfect minions that can be reused many times over. MEWMEOWMEOWMEOW!)

Mewing kitty ebil laughs, Will thought of ways to use the new information to use to increase his strength, and then pulled up the new minion’s skills up.

(Don’t remember seeing this one…)

---------------------

Zombie Poison (Level MAX)

For every enemy killed by this skill, they can be made to rise up as the lower form of the killer.

So if a zombie kills something, it stays dead but if a ghoul or skeleton  kills something, it revives as a zombie under their command.

Maximum Minions : Level of user, with each higher tier above 2nd gets a reduction in cost of each minion.

----------------------

(...I can have minions who have THEIR OWN MINIONS? When did this happen? Well, now I can get a bigger number of minions under my control! ALL HAIL CUTENESS!)

Elated about his minion’s ability, Will proceeded to get the cat skeleton to start using it at once.

The cat skeleton stood next to the dead cat zombies that it just freshly killed and a black beam flew out from its empty eye socket and covered the cat zombie’s body.

Will watched as the zombie’s head completely repaired itself up, good as new. He watched as the rest of the body, do nothing.

(...So it’s spine is still broken? Then what's the point of this? Unless, it isn’t supposed to be used on the undeads? Then what do i use it on? The air?)

Looking around there were zombies, a skeleton, group of Beastkin girls, dead Giant Ants, more Dead Giant Ants, the black leg of what looks like a part of a Giant dead Ant.

In all, there wasn’t anything he could use it on.

Somewhat sad about it, Will had the skeleton crush the 3 other rebellious zombie heads and then turn their bones into weapons.

Complying, the skeleton struck the nearest downed zombie with its bony claw gauntlets, and after a few hits.

“CRACK!”

The gauntlet broke.

(...Icy, it clearly said that the weapons and things were really fragile. Guess I’ll just make it keep creating things so that the skill levels up later. For now, I think it’s time to leave this place. I wanna see people! A little kitty should be seen by all, for CUTENESS IS KING!)

Off to the side, the Beastkin girls watched as Will created and evolved the zombies. They saw how he lost control of a few and how they were then turned into weapons by the newly created skeleton.

By now they learned that the little kitty doesn't seem very bad, and it’s jobs aside, it appears to not have random waves of wanting to slaughter massive groups of living creatures.

So they were quite chilled for the most part.

Until, the kitty looked over at them with a cute kitty grin on its little small white face.

And kitty-laughed.

(Beastkin girl #1) “I don’t like the way it's looking at us now, was it just fattening us for later? What do you think, @#$#@%?”

Like before, Will couldn’t seem to be able to comprehend their individual names, must have something to do with that faulty translator thingy.

(Well, I can’t just keep calling, or thinking them by numbers. I think I’ll give them names that I can understand. Yep, yep, names for them...Let’s go with #1 will be, kitty-ears, black hair...Blake! Then #2, with red hair...I’ll just go with Ruby! #3 is Elyan, since she looks like naturey. And #4 will be Aqua, since her hair color is blue. So I guess #5 can be Yang! Sadly, there isn’t a white haired girl here...then I’ll have the 4 different colors. Then if I equip them with their own weapons, I can remake the entire thing! My version anyways, mewMEWMEWMEOW!)

Unknown, that they had been given, somewhat suitable names by the little kitty, the laugh was just creeping them out.

(#1 now Blake) “I feel like it just thought something really rude towards me…”

(#2 now Ruby) “Who cares? As long as it doesn’t attack us, it could be staring at me all day for all I care.”

(#4 now Aqua) “Quite! Don’t you girls remember? It UNDERSTANDS us! If we anger it, who knows what it’ll do?”

(That hurts...you say one thing and then do the exact opposite. Mew feel sad, I’m not going to attack you for some random reason.)

(#3 now Elyan) “So the little kitty is a bad monster? I don’t like bad monsters...sniff, sniff…”

Hearing her, the rest of the group immediately tried to comfort her, they all remember the incident not so long ago. If she started crying again, they might all really die this time.

(#5 now Yang) “Don’t worry guys, he’s probably just recieved a message from the god of CUTENESS! And is really happy about it.”

(If that happened, then I would be asking him how I died and why my memory is kinda fishy. Can’t seem to recall a good chunk of random scattered parts and stuff. Not to mention that I feel like the way I am now...is not the real me. How odd.)

Attempting to recall exactly how he died, Will still can’t seem to really remember. It involved… a vehicle? Well, it’s not important really. Afterall, he was dead and how he died really doesn’t make a difference at all.

(Well then, time to book this place! I got like 20 minions...wait no, I got 16 minions. And theoretically more if I add in the skeleton’s “Zombie Poison”. Time to make another base then! I’ll walk in one direction then create a base there. Then juice up my main skeleton with more time and weapons and then move on to the next place and repeat. Eventually I’ll get out of this place!)

Feeling pleased with himself, Will didn’t account for the fact that the area he was in alone, was so massive that if he tried his plan, well getting out of the forest in a few DECADES is rather lucky of him.

Of course he could also just find out where he is in relation to the nearest town or city, but as he have no idea where the hell he started, that idea is just a lost cause.

As they say, brute strength can kill a couple of people, but intelligence can wipe out a species. If a person had a choice between a machine gun with infinite ammo and a super effective, 100% guaranteed, death virus. The smart move is to grab the virus. Cause that machine gun weighs A LOT.

And a cute little kitty can’t carry the thing anyways, so it’ll go for the virus. Only because it weighs like a ounce. Thats right, the end of humanity, weighs about the same as a PAPER CLIP. Humans got wiped out by a PAPER CLIP. Where is this world going? Oh yeah, to the world of MAGIC!

(Well time to get them to the next place…)

Will stared around the base, so many memories, so many things that showed up. So many problems that keep showing up, like that wave of Black Ants that's heading his way, again.

(DUDE! I drove you guys off like half an hour ago! Why did you guys show up again?)

Conveniently forgetting that Aqua got rid of them, Will felt harassed by the group of Black Ants. He didn’t remember doing anything to them, all he did was wipe out a bunch of them, nothing too bad.

(This day seriously can’t get any worse…)

And the flag was RAISED!

The giant swarm of Black Ants was like a black flood, they all just avoided the base completely like the river parting around a rock.

And behind them, was a few hundred of those nice T-Rex look alikes being ridden on by what looks similar to mini humans but with green skin.

They seemed to not want to talk, and appeared to be aiming what looked like bows in their general direction.

(Oh crud, ARROW STORM! TIME TO GET LOST!)

(Will) [GREENY! Start running as far away as you can! We’ll meet up later!]

(Greeny) [Got it master! May your journey be safe!]

Will felt the presence of Greeny move away from him, as the group of T-Rex riders arrived at the base.

Will watched as the giant T-Rex’s riders pull their bows and release a wave of arrows into the black sky.

(Great, I’m going to have to go all out!)

A entire dome of black metal covered the entire group as the arrows struck them, creating a screeching ringing of metal, as the arrows attempted to pierce through to hit the soft flesh underneath.

Without any support, the black dome just fell down and cracked into pieces after blocking the wave of arrows.

“GROWLLLL!!!!”

(AND I’m out of juice… feels like I haven’t ate in a week or more. What a pain. EVERYTIME! Can’t I get a storage or something? Haa...well I guess I’ll just, I dunno, eat grass? Will that do anything?)

Rather curious, Will took look around and saw only sandy ground around him.

(Guess, I’ll have to try later then...if I can remember anyways.)

Will saw that the girls were all alert and ready to go as they had already grabbed everything that they could carry with them. Which really was only their towels and robe thingys. Along with a few bits of the Purple Bananas that they wrapped inside their green towels.

------------------

Mana : 11/40

-------------------

(Doesn’t have much... Alright kitties! TIME TO FIGHT!)

Gathering the 16 undead cats by his sides, Will motioned by pointing with his white kitty tail at the Beastkin girls to stay in the center of the group.

Getting the message, they followed suit and were surrounded by the envoy of kitty sized undeads, that was going against a hundred odd group of giant monster riders that also, get this - have long range weapons.

A sane person would put their money on the stronger group, but in some cases, the winning group isn’t what it seems.

(Time to CHEAT!)

Focusing on the corner of his eye, the map appeared in front of Will.

On it, there was a cluster of black dots with a few other colors in the mix, that was surrounded on all sides by - flashing red dots.

(So… NOW it follows the normal code things?)

Figuring at least the improvement will help him out in their current situation, Will spotted a area with the least number of the flashing red dots and ran towards it.

Behind him the group of undeads and the Beastkins followed.

(Here!...I forgot we had a moat...and traps, and that fence.)

Abruptly stopping as Will almost fell into his own moat in his rush to escape.

The T-Rex riders that were now within only a few dozen meters away were getting ready with another volley.

(AHA! Time to show the power of the Undead!)

With his mind, Will quickly controlled the cat zombies with his idea.

Around the Beastkin girls, all of the cat zombies ran towards the moat, leaving only the sole cat skeleton to defend them.

When the first zombie got to the edge of the moat it leaped into the air, behind it another followed another one.

Next to them, two other lines of cat zombies were running and jumping.

In mid air, the leading cat zombie had it’s tail grabbed in the following cat’s mouth. This occurred until the leading cat zombie reached the other side of the moat and deeply plunged it’s front paws into the ground. It’s tail was still held on by the cat zombie behind it and with strength that only a zombie can produce, the tail held the cat zombie in the air above the moat.

With three lines of this right next to each other, made up of 5 zombie each lane, the zombies were able to create a cat bridge to the other side.

(That actually went well...how amewsing.)

The Beastkin girls stared at the whole thing, and each had a look of disbelief on their faces.

“Mew!”

With a mew from Will, the group returned to their main objective of getting the heck outta there.

Passing the bridge of cats, they were able to pass to the next layer.

(Alright, let’s see if this works.)

Rushing forwards by himself, Will proceeded to eat and swallow each and every spike trap his made in his way, creating a road through the area.

To the Beastkins, all they saw was something like a vacuum that just sucked up whatever was nearby and moved on, it was like MAGIC!

Then, again surrounded by their envoy of cat undeads that managed to swing over to their sides, they resume their race to the exit.

“FWILP!”

Sounds of bows being released was heard again as another volley of arrows soared into the night sky, bringing with it a rain of death.

(Time for...MEATSHIELDS!)

Each of the 15 cat zombie quickly crawled up and covered the bodies of the five Beastkin girls, 3 zombies for each upper parts of their body to shield from the arrows. While Will was busy eating away all of his spike traps he was able to at the same time somehow magically avoid each and every arrow that came his way.

Similar to a person avoiding rain, the arrows that came down didn’t even graze him, how is this possible? Well, that's a mystery, cause Will sure didn’t know, he was kinda thinking why the things he created tasted kinda like cocoa...

(Man...imagine how this would look like if I was making a movie? SUPER special effects! Not that there are anything like a movie in this world...I think.)

Taking a glance behind him, the Beastkin girls seemed alright as the zombies had taken each and every arrow that fell from the sky, and behind them was the T-Rex riders that were just beginning to rip apart his wooden fences.

(Do you have any idea how long it took me to make those? - well I don’t really know actually, but I DO know that if you coming smashing my base like this. When I get enough minions and stuff, I’m gonna smash YOUR base!)

Making a kitty vow to himself, Will led his group out of the spike trap layer and with a few good slash from the sharp bones of his cat skeleton, they broke through the wooden fence, right into the waiting group of T-Rex riders.
