Hearing what the owner of the voice said, the man couldn't stop a little bit of envy from appearing in his heart
The reason of that envy was the word which the owner of the voice said; Wizards.
Even though he was a warrior and he also had his own power, with his accomplishment in the path of a warrior it was almost impossible for him to deal with a real wizards, but what could he do? he didn't have the talent to be a wizard and even his talent as a warrior was normal, if not for the Headmaster taking him as a servant he would have never made it to where he was then.
"Don't waste your time feeling envy about others abilities, and sorry for yourself, that will never help, you should put the others as your target, and work hard to overcome your short comings." As if seeing what he was feeling the owner of the voice said.
The man was surprise for a second before hurriedly falling to his knees and saying:
"Thank you master for your gaudiness."
"get up and don't worry about that, now go and get a team of one hundred wizards and three hundred warriors to get ready and go to the Shore Side Village, the Red Star was released by them, also tell them to be extra careful, the old man at that village wouldn't have released the Red Star if he didn't think that a real threat had appeared, and with the happening in the last month, I think that they are going to meet a real threat this time." The owner of the voice said.
The man was surprised after he heard what the Headmaster said, one hundred wizards and three hundred warriors, that was a big number to be sent to a small village that far away from any major danger zones, but he still couldn't go against the Headmaster's orders so he bowed his head as he said:
"I will do that."
"Ok, you can go now, and remember don't disturb me if it's not an important thing." The Headmaster said one last time.
"I know master." the man said before bowing.
He didn't lift his head, but instead he stayed like that.
While he was bowing his head to the room, the metal door that he spent most of his power pushing started closing on its own, he knew that the Headmaster would close the door as that was the only way for the doors to close, and that no one would be able to close them if they didn't have enough magical power; or Mana as it was called.
Finally with a boom, the doors were closed, it was only then that the man lifted his head and looked at the huge doors.
And again a hint of envy appeared in his heart, if he had that power he would have been able to move those heavy doors effortlessly without even dropping a sweat, but then he remembered his masters words and he took a deep breath calming himself down and throwing that envy out of his heart before bowing one last time to the direction of the metal door, turning around and leaving.
As he was leaving he couldn't stop himself from thinking about how the Headmaster seemed as if he was working harder than usual in his meditation, he was always a hard worker, but ever since that time when everyone lost consciousness, and the days and nights become longer for some unknown reason, he become even more of a hard worker, he stopped leaving his room, and he rarely appeared in meetings, actually it was as if he became crazy about that.
Shaking his head and throwing those thoughts aside he started moving faster as he remembered the orders the headmaster gave him, and the things that he had to do.

General Schmidt didn't know what to think as he read the report in his hands, after reading it many times to make sure that he didn't get it wrong, with a confused expression he turned his face to Admiral Herbert who also read the same report, just to see that Herbert was also looking at him in confusion.
The report was supposed to be the explanation of that red sphere which was released to the sky earlier that night and why the sky was releasing that red light.
It was based on the informations that they got from some villagers after interrogating them.
Support the creativity of authors by visiting Royal Road for this novel and more.
The report said that that red sphere was called the Red Star it was a talisman given to the head of the village by an institution called the Royal Academy, making the village under the latter's protection.
They said that in this world, any place that was under the protection of the academy was of limits for any thieves or bandits.
That's because the academy represented the strongest power in that world, the Holy Empire.
And that even though the academy in their country was just a branch of the real Royal Academy, it was a power no one dared to touch.
All of that was interesting and all, but what caught the attention of the two was what the villagers said the academy taught, they said that it taught magic to those who had the talent to become wizards, and fighting, swordsmanship and other arts for those that had the talent to be warriors.
It was that part that made the two so confused, of course what they saw was weird and the red sky above them was something they never saw before and they couldn't explain, but the thought of magic never crossed their minds when they saw it for the first time, after all it wasn't a rational way of thinking.
So hearing that it was a talisman and that it was made by a wizard just made them more confused than before, and that only got stronger after they knew that the team that saw the red sphere before it flew to the sky said that it was a shining red rectangular piece of paper, that lunched itself to the sky in an astonishing speed.
"What do you think all of this mean?" Herbert asked after a long while of silence.
"I don't know what to think right now, everything seems so weird that I don't know what to believe at this moment." Schmidt said while shaking his head, he didn't know what was happening or what those reports meant.
It had already been four hours since the Red Star, as people in that land called it, was released, and the two were still in the shore while most of the squads that left to the village had returned leaving only two squads behind.
In Area 05 each squad had ten soldiers in it, so there were twenty two soldiers in the village at that moment, that's including the leaders of course.
"But if at the very least the part about the Red Star being a way to ask for help is true, don't you think that leaving just that small number of soldiers is a bad idea?" suddenly Herbert asked as he looked at Schmidt.
"It is only temporarily, the other squads would return there, they only came here to bring those villagers and take some supplies before returning." Schmidt said while waving his hand.
Herbert calmed down a little after hearing that, but at that moment, a soldier came running in:
"General, the two squads in the village are asking for reinforcements, they say that they are under attacked, they are barely holding on." The soldier said that hurriedly, he didn't even salute probably before starting to speak.
The two men looked at each other before Schmidt stood up as he said:
"Send ten platoons, tell them to move as fast as they could, hurry up, go, go!"
The soldier ran as fast as he could to pass the orders that he got leaving Robert and Schmidt looking at each other.
Karl was just loading some supplies in the trucks getting ready to return to the village as his squad was one of those that were sent to deliver the villagers and bring supplies.
But just as he was almost done, he got news that his squad was to hurry up and return to the village as the squads which they left behind were under attack and that they were asking for reinforcements.
He dropped everything he was doing and headed to his platoon along with his squad members.
It didn't take long before all the platoons were ready to move, and then they got on the military vehicles and headed toward the village as fast as they could.

"Just because of those he sent one hundred wizards and three hundred warriors? is the Headmaster getting senile because of old age?" A young man murmured to himself while kicked the corps of a dead soldier from Area 05.
Another young man who was next to him was able to hear what he said, so he moved closer to him and whispered:
"Don't say that, what if someone hears you, the Headmaster isn't someone that you can say whatever you want about, you should know what you can and can't say." while saying that he sighed he didn't know how his friend can do such an idiotic mistake, if anyone other than him heard him he would have been in big trouble, the Headmaster had a special place in everyone's heart in Australia after all.
"I know, I know, it's just that they woke me up in the middle of night saying that a great danger had appeared and that we had to deal with it, and when I saw the number of wizards and warriors that we have I thought that we are going to go against a formidable enemy, but who would have thought that we only found twenty men." his friend said while sighing.
"But didn't you notice that we didn't find any trace of any villagers, except those who died, this mean that there are more of those people, and also didn't you notice that even though we did a surprise attack and we had more soldiers then them, they still kept a strong formation and they didn't act as if they were trying to win against us or die with us, it was more like they were buying time, and all this mean that there are a lot of them, and also..."
"Their weapons right?" his friend interrupted him by saying that.
"Yes, their weapons are like nothing I've ever seen, so I'm pretty sure that the Headmaster was right in sending us here."
They got awakened in the middle of night, and told that they had to hurry up here; of course they could do nothing but accept, so they rode their horses for four hours till they made it there.
Normal horses would have been to move such a long distance in such a short span of time, but the ones that they rode weren't normal at all.
They were chosen since birth and raised using specific methods and given special food, so they were stronger than normal horses, and that's without mentioning the strengthening spells that the soldiers would use to make the horses go faster and make their endurance stronger.
Anyway after they finally made it to the shore side village they used a stealth spell before getting closer, they saw that the village had only twenty two men who had no signs of being warriors or wizards, they found that weird but after taking a look around the place and making sure that there was no warriors or wizards hidden around the village they decided to do a surprise attack on the village and deal with those men in one swap.
It was decided that only wizards would participate in that attack, as they wanted to end it fast without alarming any other enemies.
