Jin is gone... They killed him... They took him away from me...
It's been a few hours since we were summoned. A few hours ago since they killed Jin. And here I am, alone in my bedroom (which was given to me by the King), in the middle of the night, laying on my bed with dead eyes.
Back when I was in the last day of kindergarten, I was chased by a dog. I ran desperately; that moment was a traumatic experience.
At that time, I thought I was gonna die. However, Jin saved me.
It's still clear on my mind how he threw a barrage of stone towards the dog. He didn't hit the dog though, he hit the ground. He only intended to scare the dog away.
How kind he was. It was at that moment that my heart skipped a beat. However, before I realized it, the young Jin already ran away.
After summer, the first day of my elementary school finally arrived. There, I saw Jin. He was always alone, as if an invisible wall isolates him from the outside world. I couldn't approach him.
So, all I did was observe him for years. I knew everything about him.
How he walk, how he talk, how he run, what type of anime he watches, what type of manga and light novels he read, what's his favorite foods, and anything.
Then, middle school came, and I finally got the courage to interact with Jin. We became best friends! Isn't that amazing??
But in high school, Jin started to be bullied. I wanted to save him, but he said,
"No, Asuka. I'll handle this. I will hate you with all my heart if you ever get involved!"
That was like a sword piercing my chest. I can't bear having Jin hate me. So, I decided for an alternative. I decided to protect Jin when I'm around. That's the least I can do.
However, look at me now. I couldn't even protect him, and he died. How would his parents react if they find out? My parents too, I wonder how they are now? I hope they won't be too sad.
While I was lost in my thoughts, I heard some weird noises.
I stood up and looked outside the window. On the ground, I saw a group of goblins consisting of 20 lurking, trying to find a way to get inside the castle.
Doesn't this world have a similar rule to the MMORPG on earth? That means killing monsters and such would increase my level.

It will make me stronger.
The stronger I get, the easier it is for me to avenge Jin, and kill all of them.
I will become stronger. I will go along with them for now, I will force myself to cooperate. I will stay hidden until I'm confident that I can kill them all.
I surely will.
I activated my unique skill [War Saint's Battle Law], which I never actually used before.
My eyes emitted a white glow. My black hair turned golden, and a full body armor that knights often wear in movies covered my entire body, including my face.
The armor was made out of bright white metal, and I looked like a shining white knight.
My appearance was entirely different from earlier. Every single spot of my body was covered. Only my glowing eyes can be seen through the armor's helmet.
A five bright white weapons also appeared behind my back. They were floating behind me.
Those five consists of a sword, a great sword, a spear, a halberd, and a scythe.
I jumped out the window and landed on the ground. I'm surprised I didn't received fall damage with such a height.
"Time to level up." I said.
My landing alerted the goblins and they decided to attack me. I felt scared and nervous at first, but Jin's death blew away all my cowardice and I decided to fight.
I grabbed the sword floating behind my back and started facing of with the goblins.
My skill [Basic Martial Arts] lseems to be a passive skill that are activated all the time.
I don't really need to explain [Basic Martial Arts] right? As for my other skill, [War Cry], it allows me to enhance my status, senses, and every other aspects of my innate ability.
I wouldn't use it though, because I have to scream loudly for it to be activated, and by doing that, I would gain unnecessary attention.
I slashed three goblins with a single strike; their blood splashing all over my armor.
I ignored that and noticed a notification appear in front of me.
[You have leveled up!]
[You have leveled up!]
[You learned a new skill!]
I was surprised. Then, I opened my status.

Level 3 huh?
Upon landing my eyes on the new skill, I instantly knew what it was. Maybe it's part of the system, where the user can instantly know about their new skill without trying?
While I was thinking, I noticed a slight tingle on my back. I looked around and saw that the goblins were attacking me, but they can't penetrate my armor.
"Woah!!" I jumped back in surprise.
I'm so dumb! I actually got distracted while fighting! If the opponents were stronger, I would've died! I'll take this as a lesson.
I looked at the goblins and said,
"Sign~ this is going to be easier now."
I jumped back to gain some distance and activated my new skill [Weapon Telepathy].
All five weapons behind me flew towards the remaining goblins and sliced and pierced them all into smithereens.
It was so satisfying. Then, new notifications showed up. Before I took a look, I decided to check my surroundings to see if there are remaining enemies. I opened the notification after confirming the surroundings.
It seems that I have reached level 8, but I didn't get any new skills.
"Who might you be?"
Just as I was about to head back, I heard a voice coming from behind me.
