BERSERKER’S SUNDERING

Mortal tier recipe. No cultivation requirements

The ideal warrior on a battlefield is hard to define. Do you want intellectuals in your rank and file? Or maybe an unwavering courage to raise morale to its peaks? Slyness befitting a spy or power toppling even the giants?

However, for some they simply want their cannon fodder to act as simple minded seekers of death. Doing anything to spill the enemies blood becomes their tenet, a short lived one to be sure. The human empires were just as cruel to their own soldiers as towards their enemy’s men.

INGREDIENTS AND RECIPE

*       Heart throb lily, 1 flower – non magical flower

*       Black-eyed corset blood, 5 ml – non magical animal fluid

*       Hearty ginger extract, 20 ml – non magical fluid

*       Masochist’s dream, 15 grams – non magical poisonous plant

*       Any fire element blood, 50 ml – non magical fluid

This recipe does boast more ingredients than most Mortal tier ones, but that is exchanged for a relatively low skill barrier like many others with this number. Although with such extreme effects I would recommend not making this stuff.

The only difficult to acquire item is the Black-eyed corset’s blood. This venomous boa is a troublesome creature to say the least, especially when in its natural environment which it adequately camouflages into. It’s recommended to bite the bullet and just buy the blood, but others with less choice must remain vigilant in jungles when attempting to harvest one.

Heart throb lily induces intense lust if the petals are consumed. This lust will supersede your ability to make reasonable decisions and several people have been killed for trying to force themselves on another in their uncontrollable state. Do cover your hands while touching.

Hearty ginger is an incredibly safe root. Feel free to eat it raw, but it does taste bad in that state.

Masochist’s dream is a sharp bladed herb. It’s blades are all coated in an intoxicating poison capable of filling your body with… extreme pleasure. Needless to say it, and a few of its derivatives, hold a special place in the hearts of some. In our case it will help those bleeding warriors to fight through the pain, even desiring more wounds!

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Begin by juicing and reducing the hearty ginger. This process can take a while as you boil it on a small flame, occasionally stirring as to not allow it to burn. When a honey-like consistency is achieved you can take it off the flame.

Please note! For all the next parts you must always be wearing gloves of some kind!

Pluck all the petals off your heart throb lily and drop it into the fire element blood. Ensure that no solid parts are left over, then drop the masochist’s dream in as well. Do not stir this time!

Pour this mixture into a metal pot capable of resisting temperatures of 500 C at minimum. Now prepare a furnace, preferably one used to blast pottery, and leave the blood to heat up, as necessary. This will not take very long as the blood will purposely pull the surrounding heat unto itself. Never let the flames touch the blood directly as it will catch aflame and ruin the mixture. When the blood has transformed into a deep blue colour you know this step is over.

This temperature will slightly vary depending on the blood you use, and the time required by implication. Some will heat up to 400 C in 2 minutes, while others require 5 minutes to reach 450 C. No mortal creature’s blood will go above 550 C though, since anything capable of doing this must be a natural gathering stage creature.

With your fluorescent blue blood you can prepare the final stage of this process, mix together the cooled hearty ginger extract and snake blood. You are looking for the thick consistency to loosen into a clingy oil. It should voraciously stick to your stirring apparatus but flow well outside of that.

Pour that sticky fluid into the searing hot blood mixture. The hot blood will strip your tool of anything stuck to it, allowing you to scrape off any remnants of the sticky fluid and add it. The blood must still be glowing blue while this is still ongoing, otherwise it will fail without a doubt.

Leave it all to cool back down to room temperature. You will know the process was successful if you end up with what appears to be regular blood. Drinking, smelling, touching or whatever imaginative actions you use will have no effect on you.

Supposedly, its smell reminds a person of their most hidden desire. Some claim it as therapeutic.

USAGE

Quite a sad product. To force thousands to their death, it is a lamentable creation. But worse have come into being before this, and so much more after it.

To activate its effect, simply burn the blood. It only takes half a minute of breathing the burning product to transform a normal person into a blood seeking fool. This works far better if you give the person a clear enemy, for example a defending army.

The blood seeking fool will only care about spilling blood, as it literally brings them joy. Their minds flooded with happiness from seeing their supposed enemies fall around them, basking in the glow of slaughter they cause. At the same time they laugh at any wounds inflicted, even smiling psychotically as you pierce their hearts or decapitate them. On a mortal battlefield they are a force to be reckoned with, one culled man capable of cutting down three of equal stature.
