Money
"Master, ain't this making conventional telepathy pointless?"
"Not really; just because we can do something like this doesn't mean it's useless. This was only possible with our level of mana, control, and quality."
"But I'm grateful. Telepathics uses intensive calculation and requires mentality, specialization, and a bit of spiritual affinity just to send thoughts. Give me a break with those things."
While we were strolling around the city, the master and I were having a discussion inside our heads. A week after I encountered the MC, Master taught me a trick to use mana as a medium to communicate through our minds. However, it required having great control over the mana
.
.
It's only possible because Master and I have the same level of manipulating mana. If the other person doesn't have the same capability, sending magic like this requires caution. It's more like hurting them, like throwing a rock in their head.
It's a whole different league compared to when I decipher emotion through mana.
Unlike telepathic magic, where you need to imbue your thoughts with magic and make them flow, this is like directly making mana talk without delay.
But as long as it's just about mana and doesn't require complicated things, I can easily pull it off.
"Have you realized I can still hear your thoughts?"
Alas, if the right requirement was met, minds could be completely connected.
Choking, I lightly scratched my cheek in embarrassment. "We don't need to communicate all the time, do we?"
My master, who was floating beside me, suddenly flew in front of me, holding both of my cheeks with a serious look on her face. That caused me to halt my steps.
"No, I wouldn't allow you to cut the connection." She lightly pinched my cheeks, popping out her cheek. This time, she relayed her true emotion through her lips. "You're always ignoring me when there are other people around. It hurts, you know? as if I never exist. That is the whole reason I teach it to you."
There's a hint of sadness in her face, but somehow I found that cute. Well, it's natural that I'd ignore her; after all, I'd had enough of being called psycho. However, that wouldn't change the fact that I've always been grateful to her.
She, who doubted her own existence, Being ignored was painful.
"I'll never do that." Despite her hands resting on my face, I still managed to smile comfortably, though my words came out rather funny.
Even if reality denies her, to me, she's not a fading light. You’re my only master….
Her resplendent eyes tremble. Pulling her hands away, she touches her neck as though to check her own temperature.
.
"Uuuu, kuhum….you dumb student….kuhahhh!?"
Master didn’t get a chance to finish her words, as an orb bigger than a baseball hurled in the middle of her face. Which caused her to make a bizarre twist in midair and propel her meters away. It's none other than Cilestia, with a sharper hue than usual. With her spherical body, she emits a sinister glow.
I straighten my body and act as naturally as possible. I don't see anything~
Master got up from her feet, swaying her fist directly toward Cilestia. "You, damn mana!!!"
However, Cilestia manages to dodge with little movement, as if she's asserting superiority. She dodges anything thrown by Master with ease while flashing a confident glow. Seeing that, there's only one thing I can think of.
Oh, she takes after me.
"Ughh, take this!!" Master greets her teeth, lunging at Cilestia indefinitely.
Though Cilestia's impeccable maneuvering dodges any attack coming from the master, she flies in a curve, directly hitting Master's cheek, as if it's a hook punch. Master tried to grab her, but she easily evaded it, diving right into Master's stomach.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Damn, there's a breathtaking fight happening in front of me, but there's no one else to witness it. They say catfights were rather fun to watch…Can't deny that now.

The scuffle between Cilestia and Master didn't last long before it ended.
The outcome was a bit expected; Cilestia never leaves my side, even in perilous moments. Although my master has taught me a lot of things, brute activity was not her thing. She can't win against Cilestia, who shares my skills and exp
erience.
We were back on our way; the only difference was that I was carrying Master on top of me. Her thighs had my head locked between them, while she used the top of my head as a pillow.
If she has a physical body, carrying her like this would be challenging. But thanks to her air-like form, all I felt was gratitude for this heaven's pillows around my head. I can somehow touch her, but I no longer feel the warmth from her ever since that day.
“Ughh, I’m exhausted…You damn mana I will get you later!!” My master became rowdy, pointing her finger at Cilestia.
Cilestia was floating beside us, or rather, since Master had taken even her favorite place, she hovered a bit higher than usual.
If Cilestia has eyes, her current gesture is a cold side eye toward Master.
“Did you just call me a pathetic ghost!!?" Master slightly pulled my hair, realizing that she softly whispered sorry before throwing her hand into the air.
Both of them look perfectly fine without a single wound in them, maybe because they have no physical body.
Cilestia coldly looked down at Master, though right before she turned away, she peeked at me. Knowing the meaning behind that, I laugh dryly.
"Where are we going anyway?" Giving up on retaliating with Cilestia, Master subtly steered the topic to a different course.
"Shopping." As there are not many people around, I voice out a single word.
Master twisted her body, blocking my sight with her face. "Huh, don't you always order online or ask others for it?"
"Well, most of my stuff can't keep up with my mana anymore, so I need to look for some replacement myself." With my hand, I carefully move my master's head. "Also, I asked Gramps for a trustworthy place where I could sell 'that'."
"You're planning to sell that thing?" Master's eye flinched, grabbing my head and blocking my sight again. "Why don't you just ask Alaric for some cash?"
"Nah, if I used his card or asked for some money from him, anything I brought was recorded. I need some money to spend on my personal stuff without asking Gramps." Sensing that we were close to our destination, I tilted my head to peek in front of me. "Also, it's never a bad thing to have my own way to make money."
"But selling that might bite you later, you know."
"Nah, that will never bite me back," I said confidently.
"Hmmm, if you trust it that much…I guess it's fine.”
"That's also why we're here in this place—the place where I can get high-end items and the place most trusted by Gramps." The corner of my lips rises, seeing that we have arrived at the right place. "This is the perfect time to know what’s the current value of ‘that’.”
In front of where my steps ended, a tall-rise building that was like a shopping district was standing there. The overall exterior doesn't have much difference from my past life, though magic screens are floating in the air to advertise all sorts of things.
Walking towards the door, the guards didn't stop me, despite having a glowing mana beside me. The door opens by itself as attendants greet me.
"Welcome to the interdimensional market, where you can find items from other words!!"
While I'm amazed by the welcome, a woman in uniform greets me politely.
"You must be Sir Carus; we are expecting your arrival."
"Huh..?"
……………….
………………………….
Before I realized it, I had been dragged into the inner part of this place, which was much gloomier than earlier. Looking around, it gives off the ambiance of a normal Isekai shop. It's filled with light, though the items on display were gallantly shining.
It's a place I'm already familiar with; to MC's knowledge, it's supposed to be a hidden shop that needs a special requirement to unlock. However, it's not a fucking game; I have my game pass Alaric to solve my problem.
In front of me, there was a politely arranged table. Behind it is a man with a little build and a civil face. With dark brown hair and eyes, as well as an iconic mustache on his face.
"Thank you; you may go now."
Dismissing the woman who brought me here, he crossed his finger, resting his chin there.
"You're Carus, right? I'm Bernard. I've already heard about you from Lord Alaric. Please take a seat."
The owner himself was the one to greet me. Now that I think about it, he's an introvert who likes to confine himself here away from people. I bet he practiced his words several times. I wonder how he managed to become a business giant despite that.
Taking the seat in front of his table, I catch a figure of a young girl hiding in the corner of the door on my right side. She has brunette hair and amber eyes; without a doubt, she's this guy's daughter.
I know both of them from the novel, and I'm almost certain they can be trusted. Though I sensed magic approaching me, in the corner of my eyes I noticed the little girl's eyes were glowing; she must be trying to use appraisal on me, which I blocked with my mana.
A tear leaked from her eyes as she failed, which strangely put a smile on my face. Behind me, I could hear my master's voice saying, "Bullying a little girl? What a nice quirk my disciple had."
"You must be excited to do business with me; I feel the same." Bernard grins, completely misinterpreting it.
However, I've no interest in correcting him.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm planning to sell this." I bring out three glowing stones with the same hue as my mana on the table.
Seeing that, Bernard's eyes widened in interest. It was a mana stone I made myself, and the power was sipping in the air. His eyes glow like his daughter, though a magic circle with a complicated structure can be seen in his eyes. It must be avant-garde appraisal magic.
In a few seconds, his jaw dropped, jumping in front of my face almost instantly. "Wha, this is impossible. Where did you get this?"
Despite there being a table between us, his face still managed to get close to me, leaving me no choice but to back away.
"I made it myself." With a nonchalant manner, I point at Cilestia, who is still on my shoulder.
"Unbelievable, but seeing the same mana floating beside you, there's no doubt about it anymore. With each of his words, he got closer, so that he might flip over his table. "It's just simply implausible. It's extremely potent and dense. The quality was second to none, and it doesn't have any impurities! "
"What catalyst have you used to achieve this?!" Bernard looked straight at me with eyes filled with expectancy and excitement. "Was it your blood? Or maybe your soul? No wait, even with those things as catalysts, it's impossible to attain this purity."
"Ha-ha, but a businessman never lets others know their secret." I smile politely, spotting no sense.
To begin with, I didn't use any catalysts. Originally, it was deemed impossible; just compressing mana can already cause a disastrous explosion. Though I can do it, it's quite similar to processing a diamond, but the hurdle was astronomically magical.
Compared to normal mana stones, this one is much more brittle but possesses the quality and power of my mana. However, I slightly altered its signature to avoid any future plight.
"I see, spoken like a true merchant." Bernard falls in his seat, giving up. "Well, I wouldn't force you to tell. Aside from that, the sovereign of the world itself entrusted you to me. You have nothing to worry about if you sell these to me; no words about you will go out."
"Yes please."
It should fetch a high price, right?
As I'm thinking about that, Bernard shows me a tablet that displays numbers that are hard to read without commas…..
"If that's the case, I'll buy it for this much, and you can also pick any item from this place for addition.
{Holy shit}
What the actual fuck! I can live a luxurious life in a hundred years with that much money! And I can get more items!!!!!???
