Master and Student
“Lil, Carus. Are you ready?”
On the open field beside the mansion, solely dedicated to outdoor activity. Early in the morning, Vivian, Eu, and I were here to train. I'm the only one who will go through rigorous training due to Gramps's wishes.
Since I've already done this a few times, I'm just wearing typical pants and long sleeves. I have tried some protective gear before, but I'm uncomfortable with it. Full metal armor makes me feel like shit in a metal coffin. The so-called tight-skin battle suit was utterly disgusting. The light lather was good, but I just really felt lazy wearing any of it.
I didn't even try to wear a coat or what the ever-common protagonist and MC will be wearing. Without a doubt, I will cringe and feel stupid trying it. So the really best thing is the protective spells cast by Vivian and Eu, which have astronomical power.
"Sis, I'm ready." Due to Vivain's nonstop persistence, I'm now referring to her as: 'sis'.
Turning my head to Eu beside Vivian, I nod, giving her a smile. "I'll be off then."
"Good luck." Eu raises both her thumbs. Though her ever-changing expression remains the same, something about it exudes cuteness.
“I’ll prepare it; get ready.” Vivian raised one of her hands. A gigantic cube made with complex magic circles and diagrams locked me inside.
I swiftly position myself, preparing for what is to come.
As light enshrouds my vision, Eu and Vivian disappear as the scenery completely changes. The sensation of floating in the void became more or less familiar to me. In a mere second, I stood in a different place.

Dungeon magic, mostly known as Dungeon creation, is a unique magic that few individuals from the Patriark family possess; it's the magic that was frowned upon in ancient times. In short, it’s Alaric's past. It’s believed that day that it’s useless non-combat magic. However, that’s the most absurd mistake.
Those idiots in the past must have felt shit when the true power of this magic was revealed.
“Haha, so this is why it’s now called the most absurd magic of this day.”
Breathing heavily, I struck my sword against the ground to keep me from falling. Muddy ground, a stone wall, and a stupidly tall ceiling. It has a simple design and has similarities to the game Vivian and I played a few days ago. It’s amazing how she’s able to build this with just a simple idea from the game.
Below my feet was nothing but a massacre. A variety of monsters fell below my feet. It's not just dire wolves; there are even ogres and low-level minotaurs.
I see, so Vivian is not joking when she says that this dungeon is harder. Though she degrades the monsters' strength a bit, looking at the fallen body of the Minotaur makes me certain.
It's weak, but despite that, it single-handedly drained my stamina. If it's not a weakened version in this dungeon, I'd doubt my victory.
While I’m resting, the corpses disappear one after another.
This place absorbs the monster to generate another batch. Moreover, this is not the only dungeon Vivian has. Both Alaric and Vivian have numerous dungeons they have created. Alaric aside, Vivian was seen as a genius for pulling it off. The first dungeon she created was when she was just 5, which caused even Alaric to be flabbergasted.

But the real reason why this magic is overpowered...
"Ahh, hear it come.”
New types of monsters spawn. Huge lions, terrestrial multi-leg monsters, and even aerial types of monsters.
“They just keep appearing.”
But fortunate enough, they only spawn in front of me.
Raising my right hand, the storage in my finger shone, and 20mm bullets emerged in the surroundings. This should be enough to handle this many.
“Let me rest.”
Empowering each bullet with my mana, magic diagrams ran through the bullets. I fired it all at once, causing a loud explosion. Due to my mana, the shells couldn’t take the strain and shattered into pieces. Though that’s not the only outcome, the monsters have gaping holes in their bodies, and without being able to process what's happening, all of them fall to the ground.
This should earn me a few minutes.
In a split second, a dozen portals emerge all around me. Horror filled my eyes as numerous new enemies stepped out of it. Golems, made from metal, metallic knights, and even haft mechanical monsters.
Seeing those, I look into the non-existent sky.
Sis, are you this angry because I didn’t eat breakfast with you?
Coping with hopelessness, I reposition myself, holding my sword. Seeing that the enemies are advancing forward, I summon an anti-ship rifle to my left hand, which is considerably bigger than me.
“Yeah, this is why this magic is beyond reasonable.”
The inexhaustible magic.
All dungeons are connected to each other and to their creator. The other that scatters around can earn more energy and power. Making an endless supply of energy. Monsters from different dungeons can be summoned in this place.
This magic is certainly ridiculous; you can just throw your enemy into one of your dungeons and let him suffer there. If Vivian can already do this, I couldn't imagine what Alaric is capable of.
No, it’s not the time to be thinking that; I should focus on keeping myself alive.
Shaking my head to erase my thoughts, I prepare myself.
“I guess I should test this rifle now.”
As the rifle was several pounds heavier and longer than my body, I threw away my sword. Using both of my hands, I aim the muzzle at the metallic golem that is quickly rushing at me. With its human figure, it’s agile despite its heavy body.
No matter how tough you are, you won't survive this.
"Ain't I told you not to use that toy of yours yet? Your petite body wouldn't last in the recoil!"
Second, before I pulled the trigger, a clear voice rang directly in my head, which strongly reprimanded me. In a blink of an eye, I put my rifle back into my storage ring.
I swiftly turn to my left. Realizing the owner of the voice was beside me, my eyes widened.
Black hair mixed with silver tied to the back of her head. A myriad of colored eyes with a beautiful face. On top of a well-refined body, she has a balanced amount of size from her chest to her bottom. Wearing a clout that is obviously foreign—a conservative, tight white dress with blue linings. Each of its ends has a protruding translucent fabric that reflects light.
No matter how elegant the woman in front of me was, a frown was visible on her face. Without a doubt, it's because of me.
"Ehhh, huh? Since when..."
“Dodge first before that.”
I abide by her words without question. Jumping up, I avoid a giant blade right before it graces my skin. As it passed right in front of my face, I didn't waste a moment. Taking out my custom steel wire that already had hooks on its end, I fired it toward the ceiling using my mana. Pulling myself to a safe place, I used the steel wires as a web to create footing for myself.
While I’m in a state of disarray, the monsters almost got me. The giant blade that almost took my life was actually the arm of the same golem. A ductile metal, how troublesome.
“My disciple, there’s only a few flying types. You should be able to take it down with your bullets.”
Heeding those words, I summon bullets raining down toward monsters with flying capabilities. Streams of bullets impaired them beyond recognition. After making sure there was no threat, for the time being, I straightened my body while wearing a big grin.
“Hehe~”
“The only thing you’re good at is your quick composure….”
Although the following words were meant to reprimand me, I didn't listen to any of them and jumped into the person in front of me, while wires guided my feet to keep me from falling.
"Master!! Where have you been?! I've been looking for you, you know?"
"Not even letting me finish my words, huh?" Being strangled by me, she was unable to complete her words earlier, though she giggled drily before hugging me back with a warm smile on her face. "Aside from your auto-defense, none other than Cilestia keeps driving me away. I just want to take some walks around."
“But master, you're floating...“
“You don’t need to say that.” As soon as I said that, Master chopped my head with her right hand. "Wait, now that I think about it, didn’t I tell you not to use that rifle? You troublesome disciple!”
Being chopped in the head twice; tears were about to fall from my eyes. "Sorry, it was the heat of the moment. I thought it was time to shine!"
Master revoked me almost instantly. “You idiot, three shots from that thing is all it will take to destroy your body!”
Seeing me silent, she sighs. “Well, let’s clean these things first. Pull a lance from your storage ring and use what I have taught you before.” Master wears a dazzling smile, using her finger to point at the enemies.
Trusting the words of my master, I took out a lance with an intricate design. Considering that I'm the only person who could see her, that might explain my overwhelming faith in her. Nevertheless, I'm excited!!
“Draw out the lines; just target the golem from earlier.”
The world is changing, or perhaps it's the reality of the world. Circuits were all over the place, connected to anything in existence. Drawing a straight line directly to the golem's head, I withdrew all my wires. Planting my feet to the ceiling, I make an explosive kick, plunging down with my lance and traversing a single magical string.
“Now!!”
With my master voice as a guide, the line multiplied, connecting to different parts of the golem.
“I don’t fucking know where your core is, but this should take care of you.”
The force from my lance transferred to all lines. The explosion impaled the golem with great precision.
I didn’t know something like this was possible with just mana. Not until she came into my life a year ago.
