What Restrains, She Whispers
Intro: Earlier, as the graceful night for Jelfyr's community continues their party, dedicating to their glory. Somewhere inside the woods, while they walk, Criselia stops. A distance from her, Judith also does.
Slowly floating in the air on the wide surroundings, plentiful glowing lights ascend up. Onto one of the glowing orb of light, Criselia slowly reaches her finger. She smiles, a bit sadly.
Judith gazes down and thinks, She's quite a goddess. She hears Criselia's voice speaking,
“Jaino's princess, among the kind of allies that I'm looking for, you are one who has potential.” She smiles again. On her long skirt's pocket, she picks out a black wristband. Moderately she throws it to Judith who receives. “That gadget, I made it after I'd seen you fought against Jaino.
“I was hoping to reach to you, only I stumbled to someone who was spying at you. I interrogated him, and he was a man of Jaino. I forced him to spit out everything, and really, a huge problem hindered my intention.
“...Jaino cared about you for all of his life.”
“He cared for me?” has mumbled by Judith. “Then why would he left me alone?” In pain on her heart she yells, “He should be by my side when I needed him the most! I was so alone from those years! Why? Why would he married someone if he cared about me?”
“You don't understand young girl. The man spying at you had dug deeper to Jaino's history. He told me everything. Jaino's ancestor had made conflict with the current royalty's and some nobles' bloodlines. Not just that, but the current enemy of this kingdom. And he has plenty of enemies among his men. He told me also that Jaino's ancestor was a strong man, not until he gave up his life...
“He gave up his life for his love ones, who were under in hostage could be freed.”
Judith states, “He doesn't want the past to be repeated on him..? I don't understand... I can protect myself. He is strong, why would he cowered?”
“Young girl, face reality. He is doing his best for your safety.
“In our life, everything comes, withers, and dies. Sometimes, instantly. Not, unless, you can possibly sustain health or are always lucky while years pass by. Or the law of nature doesn't permit your demise for a certain reason.
“Beside, in the dead soul plain that most of the naked eyes can't see, Jaino is surrounded by many sorrowful souls that he had slain—” Judith strains to listen at her “—placing his consciousness somewhere between the boundary of sanity and insanity.
“His sanity limits his access on his current ability, but his insanity breaks those limits resulting his ability can go out of control — a so destructive that may cause the same to what happen on this kingdom.
“You understand what will happen if he loses grip to his reasoning, right? because of his problem, right?”
Judith gazes down. So that was why he always wanted solitude for his pastime... after my mother and father's case..? To sometimes get away from reality that he was facing? “I can understand that he needed rest. But, I'm his friend. He should consult to me. I did practiced and improved my usage to my ability, in the purpose that I could help him with his work. Wasn't that enough? And why would he hadn't consult to me? He didn't even listen to his man who asked consideration about my effort.”
“You miss my point young girl. What this 'losing grip to his reasoning' that I'm talking is about mental breakdown. Do you want to witness people being mercilessly killed?”
“That's... I don't wanna.”
“And he is a norim born after several generations that had passed. That means, he also is a dangerous person. And his insanity might be triggered by this certain event.”
Judith's heartbeat turns faster. She asks, “And... what... is it?”
“I know Jaino is instinctively aware by this. The most person that he cared about probably the first one or the second one before you. That would be...
“...his mother or father. What this certain event is—” Criselia appears on Judith's front and whispers near Judith's ear.

Judith has her eyes wide open. “That's—?” Her tears pour on her eyes.
“Don't cry. I give your this bracelet to assist you with your ability. It's your decision either to follow us or be useful to this kingdom. Be useful for him instead. I also care about you. Yet, sadly, I can't protect someone while I become busy. Also this goes to Jaino — no need for you to think. It's understandable.”
“I... is there nothing to be done? To...”
“So you can be near with him?” Seeing the poor Judith nods, she continues, “I already give you this bracelet. I haven't given up with you. You need to talk to him.
“Me, Jesifer, and Jaino aren't enough for our survival. Because to where we will journey is a place that defines hell.”
—End of Intro
As the night continues — in contrast to the joyous community of Jelfyr, outside the ruins inside Akrosdasan Forest, the frightened captives, members of the underworld, under weaken state, they are afraid of something. — Something that only their vision could see — a shadow of insane woman who is about to torture them. Some captives are already passed out.
Standing in the area, the woman, Cally Haulicrity, idles as she stares at the sky. Inhaling and feeling the refreshing wind blow of the night, her vision wanders and settles down at the incoming woman, Frehviesa Amahaon, carrying a plate of coffees.
As she arrives, she reaches one Coffee to Cally, “It's so amazing to see you at your current young beauty. I really wish I have the body of yours.”
“Try not to flatter me. I hate it.”
Frehviesa chuckles. “You really did changed. Before, your fist spoke first before your mouth. Anyway, it seems this is a victory that we can't praise of. If my reasoning is correct, your child handle the matters alone. My men reported to me, that every person — soldiers, civilians, nobles, officials were forced to evacuated before our kingdom was destroyed.”
“Destroyed? How comes? How strong is this underworld is? I met Eladin before, he was not that strong.”
“Cally, knowledge has no bound. Actions may result differently. Right choices could also be wrong. Curses may actualized. In our life, many things could happen. I myself had witnessed some impossibilities. That includes you.”
“Me? I don't understand what you're talking about. I'm just doing what my husband asked to, cooperating with you.”
“Cally, I'm talking about your presence. Look at these prisoners, we have them under control by placing you here on this place.”
“Now that you mention, I do noticed these people were screaming, earlier. Some of them are still moaning in pain. I just didn't approach them. It's not my principle to care strangers.”
“Cally, your presence alone is frightening enough. I discovered this when I hadn't pregnant with Sai Mea. I was on diet that day that you and Viegro visited. All I could see, was a woman going to eat me. It was just a good thing that Viegro knew about this ability of yours. So, I was saved.”
“Ability of mine... Explain.”
“Strict as ever my friend. The moment that a person's mind is weaken, specially from hunger, if they are near your radius, they will suffer frightening illusion. These people are enemy, so in order to clear my doubt about their plan of escape or retaliation, if any — I didn't feed them in lunchtime and dinnertime. I've taken the opportunity to use your frightening ability. You're a frightening person my friend. My plan works out.”
“You're the frightening here.”
Frehviesa laughs. She sips her coffee. Still, Cally remains on her posture.
Lying somewhere in a grassy slope while stargazing in the night, Jaino exhales the refreshing wind blow. Enjoying his solitude, on his thoughts, Father, it seems we are freed from the past. The kingdom which forbade us from the past has no longer exist. Or, the bloodline of our opposition still, but I doubt they won't change. This disaster would be a moral to the royalties, nobles, and the people.
I shall believe the first prince's credibility. Also I continue to trust Raume, despite of their bloodline is our enemy. Yet, they are important people who also want change. They are trying their best.
Father, as what I said to you before, I can't be a knight for the queen. I've been longing to meet her. But it seems, she doesn't exist. So, I'll be doing I want. My place, doesn't belong here. I have plenty of enemies.
My aim— He remembers Criselia,
She holds both of her upper arms and her eyes are sadly gazing down at the wide island. “Jaino, you're still a child. Averting to face reality isn’t an escape to this life. I've been witness too much cruelty more than a thousand times; but cowardice can’t kill realism yet can elapsed time. Don’t think being powerless is the cause of your handicap. You still have your mind. You know your enemies. Envy that others have what you don’t, doesn’t mean achieving your objective is impossible. And now, you have me, and I’ll support you. I’m your protector. But, I’ll seriously doom everything if you won’t comply at your role.”
“Wow, such wondrous words from someone who has harvested the lives of the innocent.” He gulps, his chest is heavy by frigid grievous feelings.
“It won’t be me, if I’ll just warn you using words.” She distances herself while she expresses in front to Jaino, all of this words, “So be with yourself. If you still don’t have ambition, then why not accomplish my impulse. We'll venture to anywhere, gather the strong one, and commence the ritual that hindering us from fulfilling my urge. After resolving, you are then free, with a new life, freshly that can’t be knocked down by storm. Of course, I’ll train you so you’re comfortable with my spirits. Some of them are quite difficult to handle. I won’t aid you physically but, I’ll orient you on handling some of my spirits that I could lean for you. You will learn the uniquity on each norim that I have discovered, and how to deal on such strength so overwhelming. You’ll explore many things, uncover many mysteries that I’m not interested; since, pain made you carefully think and be matured in thoughts. Many benefits you could abuse. I have talent for profits; yet, such materials I've never needed; however, maybe, for future deficien—”
—Jaino thinks, The heaven granted me this father. He hears the rustling of grass from someone's footsteps. His head turns to the right to see, the tomboyish Judith smiles a bit at him. His heartbeat beats faster. He sits and clears his eyes by his fingers. “Judith is that really you?”
“Nope, I'm just an illusion?” She goes near and sits beside him. Jaino gazes away.
“Why are you here?”
“You hate me that much?”
“No... It's just, it's dangerous...”
“What kind of dangerous... As I could see, we are alone here. Or... It is something like this....” She hugs him. They fall lying in the ground. Cuddling each other, they both feel the heat. Leaning her head between Jaino's chest and shoulder, she looks up at Jaino's face. She feels happy seeing him diverting his view away from her nearby face. “Your other woman has brought and left me here.”
“Who?” He looks at her face.
“Criselia.” She reaches her lips to his lips. After that, she then speaks, “I see. You really are a perv. I can feel it on my leg.”
“I'm a man, look!”
“I know. You don't need to speak loudly.”
He hugs her and kisses her lips. “I won't ask for—” his sentence has hindered by Judith's lips. She then speaks,
“I already know. You always like that. Criselia has opened my eyes also. Let's talk after this.”
“Judith, I miss you,” he has said as he hugs her tightly.
“Me too,” her reply as she kisses his lips again. She can feel Jaino's hand runs on her—
“Cut! Cut! Cut!” yelled the director
