Prologue

The air is suffocating on this planet, and gravity pulls me as if it holds me hostage. My body was as weightless as the stars I would capture to bring light into the night sky over the trees of Modara as they sang my children to sleep. A planet with life that expands the capacity of these things called humans. I have only been within this atmosphere for 3 molocmins, which I believe is called 3 minutes in English, 3 Minutos in Spanish, 3 perc in Hungarian, 3分 in Japanese, and why does this planet have so many different languages with no unity? I feel the waves of zenta, or energy as they may call it, and the levels are as low as the lowest life forms on our planet from the distance where the humans gather, but flourish in these woods where I have landed.

They also have so many shades of skin on these humans, but all of them share replicas within their bodily functions as if they were born of the same mother and father bloodline. In Modara, there are those of star blood that can speak to the stars and form creations, as I can. We have 1 heart that is insignificant compared to our 3 linked brains and skin as black as the galaxies we were born in while those of the lower realms have different skins with different organ functions and forms. Still, we share the same dialect although our tongues may differ. Here on this planet, they see those of tones closer to our star born as lesser beings and those closer to the color of emptiness, as higher beings. I would say that they are oblivious to the powers that be and are in dire need of assistance, but it is painfully obvious that they are comfortable with their ideas of ruling them. Like sheep who cling to their shepherd to provide, even think for them, they gather as a herd in these large cities and wait to be slaughtered or shredded years of their own lives. They do not even care, nor try to expand across the ice wall that cages them in this area like a dome. No bother, I must blend in with them until I regain my strength. It may take years to acquire the amount of zenta needed to travel being that this planets large and rather pompous insects are killing her slowly. What a tragedy.

Zanalise then morphed into a human form forcing her brains to conjoin into one, but strangely her heart grew 3 times its original size. This also lessened her powers drastically to withstand the small capabilities that came with being human and included peculiar additives like emotions and a part of a grander soul. As star born did not possess such things as they were not needed. There was only the objection of what was right and what was wrong. Emotions were something possessed by the lesser beings like Mauntels, the purple creatures she would call her children that lived amongst the lands on her planet Modara. The same ones she sacrificed her life for as she protected them from a black hole that threatened the entire planet. As for the soul, she would have been considered the soul's completion to humans, or in other words, God.

"You there," she called out to a human walking down the empty road that split the woods, "Where would you say our location is right now?" she asked politely as possible to appeal to the male human in a way that may have been considered flirting.

"In Texas Ma'am," said the man returning a similar gesture, "Where everything is big." He said this while staring at her exposed breast.

After transforming into a human, she didn’t consider covering her body. As the man approached her aggressively, making his intentions clear without words, she felt, for the first time, a set of emotions. Scared and helpless. In the forms of star blood, such indecency would not have been possible. Clothes were not needed to hide her skin that repelled stars and held many forms because she was never confined to one. Plus, she was respected among all realms outside this galaxy that the black hole brought her to.

"Let go of me! I will find help elsewhere!" she demanded of him as she shook from his clammy hands that grabbed her without remorse.

"You a strong one ain’t you." he said, taunting her and proceeded to close the gap between them.

Although her mind could be compared to the most advanced computer within this galaxy, even in human form, her emotions were clouding her judgment since she never had to learn how to control them before. Just as fear was about to rob her of her dignity, a huge bright star turned the night sky a dazzling purple as it fell into the woods she had just come from. It only took moments for her to feel a familiar zenta within the atmosphere and she called to it with the small amount of power she clung to after transforming.

"What is that thing?!" the male human screamed. He was terrified of the large creature with huge eyes like stars, purple, fluorescent skin, and 4 arms peering through the trees. He fled for his life at the sight, leaving Zanalise behind. With one of her children now within the atmosphere, she possessed an even grander portion of her power. It was Lalaya, the daughter of Star Loyeda. She would call to her every night on Modera in the highest tree waiting for her to bring its light like a little sister that clung to her older sibling.

"How did you come here child?" Zanalise was now afraid that her sacrifice was for nothing, and her children would rain down from the sky as Lalaya did.

"I couldn't bear the thought of you being alone in an unknown place Goddess. May I help you here? She spoke in their language. Unlike Zanalise, here, she possessed as much intelligence as an animal and would have had a challenging time adjusting to the way of humans. To ease her transition, while using less powers so that she may reserve them, she transformed Lalaya into a white wolf with purple eyes and passed small bits of human intelligence through telekinesis's.

"You helped me much more than you know just by being here," she said to Lalaya the wolf as she stroked her fur while kneeling beside her. The wolf nuzzled her head into Zanalise’s shoulder to embrace her goddess as she could not live in a galaxy without her.

The two stumbled along the long road surrounded by wooded areas, learning to maneuver in their new forms and laughing at one another's fumbles. Lalaya still spoke in their language but understood that she must use the language of the wolf to blend in with nature, something Mauntels did well. They lived alongside the creatures of Modara while still advancing as a society. Soon they came to a hill that towered over a thriving civilization below it. A bustling city with busy streets, lively people, lit houses, and tightly tucked neighborhoods. Nothing like the grass plains of Modara with trees as tall as their mountains and creatures bigger than vehicles. There were miles between each town to leave grasslands for creatures to thrive and only 2 large areas where our advanced technology expanded.

"We are far from Modara Lalaya and must blend amongst them until we can return to where we belong," Zanalise said as she looked beyond the horizon at the sun rising above it.

"It can't compare to the ones that shine on Modara, but it still is quite beautiful," said Lalaya as she too looked past the horizon.
