In a world where the oppressive atmosphere and gravity keeps its inhabitants grounded, Zanalise, a celestial being from the planet Modara, finds herself transformed into a human after a catastrophic event threatens her planet. Having embraced this new form, she struggles against the weight of unfamiliar emotions and the complexities of human existence.   After a disturbing encounter with a human, she is unexpectedly rescued by Lalaya, a child of Modara, who descends to Earth in a dramatic display. To help Lalaya adjust to the human world, Zanalise transforms her into a white wolf, infusing her with fragments of human intelligence. Together they navigate in the ways of humans, building a bond that carries them through deep lessons of growth that were unexpected until they regain the strength to return home.
