“DIE!”
I roared out, swinging my clenched fist towards the charging vermin. The release of my anger caused the strength I produced to multiply to new heights. To the point where that punch of mine hurled the beast backwards, its head bleeding…at least that’s how I’ll describe it if asked.
In truth my punched bounced off the creature’s fur without as much as a scratch on it. I braced myself for the impending impact heading my way, tightly shutting my eyes and gritting my teeth. However a gust of wind rushing past me caused me to slightly open my eyes.
Like a moron I remained in that position for quite a while, trying to process what happened before turning my head back. There, in the corner of a nearby tree, was my fiendish foe. A closer inspection showed that he was eating some plants that were growing there. To ignore our world-jumping rivalry in favor of a snack was nothing short of an insult to me.
Irritably stomping towards my foe I proceeded to land continuous hits on him. Of course to no avail. While my attacks may not have been doing any damage they did seem to cause a disturbance as the rabbit stopped eating to look my way. There was a short pause as we looked the other in the eye. Then, as if trying to shoo away a pest disturbing its meal, the beast swiped its paw at me.
As my body gracefully flew in the air, tumbling about, I could’ve sworn I head an announcer’s voice shout out “K.O.!” in the background. Landing as dignified as I flew, I wiped off any dirt on my body and shook off any pain I felt.
“Bastards not even taking this seriously…”
Mumbling to myself about the current situation I decided to change tactics. Though I may not look it I did possess some means of attack and defense. Focusing my mind the mana in my body responded to my plea. Slowly small particles began to conjoin together in front of me. Bending and twisting the appearance of a toothpick-like weapon began to gain form.
After a few seconds of waiting the makeshift mana javelin was complete. Wielding it in hand I aimed at my dreaded enemy with it. Once properly aimed I threw it with as much force as I could muster. The end result was a javelin slicing through the air, locked onto my target like a guided missile. Reaching its mark the javelin impaled itself into the rabbit’s keister, straight into the area where the sun don’t shine.
The rabbit lurched at the sudden invasion of its privacy. I watched as the mana javelin slowly dissipated into nothing. Trembling for a bit the rabbit turned and sent its wide-eyed teary gaze towards me. Suddenly, realizing it was me who took away its wizardry rights, those teary eyes were now filled to the brim with hatred.
“Yes, that’s it! Loathe me more! Despise me! Fear ME!”
For whatever reason, after saying that, I began to wonder if my loneliness had something to do with me…nah, couldn’t be.
Leaping at me with incredible speed, the rabbit struck me headfirst. Luckily I was small enough that the horn barely missed impaling me. Before the impact could send me flying to my home planet I grabbed onto the fur of the beast.
Bucking like a raging bronco the rabbit attempted to remove me from its face. Occasionally it would smash straight into trees or shrubbery. Climbing a bit I came face-to-eye with the beast. With a grizzly smile I held out my left hand. Mana quickly condensed into yet another javelin.
With no way to escape my attack I jabbed the javelin straight into the eye in front of me. With movements even more fierce than before the rabbit jerked from the impact causing me to lose my grip. Quickly recovering I sent my gaze straight to the rabbit, its eye now bleeding slightly from the stab wound.
With more rage than ever the rabbit dashed through the air straight at me. Realizing that dodged would take too long I hurriedly created a small mana shield in front of me. Though the shield didn’t last for the duration of the attack, the overall speed of the impact was lessened.
Unfortunately this time I was unable to escape unscathed. Rather this is actually quite problematic for me right now. Slowly standing up I look down at my body. A good chunk of my torso and my left arm was completely blown away. The culprit was that horn.
“Shit!”
It took a bit but my brain finally processed the pain from having a part of me forcefully severed. Perhaps due to my body’s unique constitution there was no blood from that act. Still, that shit hurts like hell!

Before I realized it that damned rabbit made its way to me as it sent me flying with a swipe from its paw. Damn, not once but twice I’ve been bitch slapped by that vermin. Bringing out my wings I attempted to stabilize myself, but the loss of my body parts made balancing impossible.
Crashing into a nearby tree I groaned from the impact. I had hit it with such force that leaves from it had actually been shaken loose. While trying to regain my bearings a shadow suddenly appeared overhead. Looking up I saw the rabbit perform an intimidation of my Superman Dive-Bomb technique.
Grabbing a nearby fallen leaf I quickly launched myself away as fast as I could. Since it was only a single leap the leaf I used as wind resistance didn’t snap in half. I had made it just in time as the rabbit crashed down where I had previously been.
Still, this was troublesome. I was severely injured and my foe didn’t seem like they were any closer to dying. I needed to find a way to cause some real damage and fast. Its fur was too much for my mana constructs to take down. The only real weak points were its fleshy bits such as its eyes or even its violated ass.
Making my choice I constructed another mana javelin and leapt straight to the rabbit. This time I wasn’t using the leaf for resistance making my speed something to behold. Flying like a straight arrow I aimed the javelin in front of me to act as the arrowhead.
Perhaps sensing my intentions the rabbit charged at me with maximum speed as well, aiming its horn directly at me. Just as when I was leaf surfing I used my wings to tilt myself out of the horn’s range. With that twist I began spinning around like a top. While I had thought of stopping this to avoid dizziness I decided to continue it in order to increase my javelin’s piercing power.
However the rabbit had managed to move its head, making my attack miss its eye and land on its hard skull instead. Like fragile glass my mana javelin broke into pieces. Without missing a beat the rabbit quickly turned its body and once again launched towards me.
This time I was too close for a horn attack so the beast did the next best thing it could think of. It opened its gaping mouth to swallow me whole. At a distance unavoidable I curled up into a ball, making myself as small as possible. The reason I did this was so that its teeth wouldn’t chomp me in two. In an instant, the next thing I knew, I was in the beast’s stomach.
I must say that being stuck in a cramped space while being digested wasn’t a good feeling to experience. I felt as my body was being decomposed and being absorbed into my foe. Since my body wasn’t made of flesh it was obvious that my mana was what was being digested. I could feel it as my essence was empowered my foe to new heights.
“Damn, what am I a power up?”
I tried desperately to keep the mana within me contained. Slowly I looked towards my wounds reminiscing the feeling of my missing torso and arm as my mana churned. A strange feeling came over me when I did so and with a wide-eyed expression I understood what was happening.
The missing pieces of me were slowly regenerating as my internal mana bulked and concentrated in that area. I watched in amazement as my own body began to regenerate the missing limbs I lost. Within a few moments it was as if I never lost anything to begin with.
With my body back I turned my focus to the situation at hand. While I had been distraught at becoming food for my hated rival I finally realized something. Now that I was swallowed there was nothing but weak flesh all around me. In other words I was in the best area for my attacks to cause significant damage.
“Heh...ha...hahaHaHaHAHAHAHA!”
Laughing manically at that revelation I quickly constructed two mana javelins, holding each in one hand. Slicing through anything I could, I made numerous wounds to the rabbit’s innards. I could feel as irrational movement came from outside. Still it wasn’t enough. Though I could stab I couldn’t really slice through anything.
I could feel as my mana was continuously absorbed into the rabbit, enhancing its durability apparently. If this takes too long then even this advantage will become obsolete. Without much time remaining before my javelins wouldn’t be able to pierce the creature’s flesh anymore I made a rash decision.
Releasing the mana javelin constructs I began to concentrate once more. A small orb of bundled mana formed in front of me. Continuously, more and more, mana condensed into the small sphere.
“No…ugh, not yet!”
Focusing to my absolute limit I tried keeping the mana sphere stabilized as I concentrated more mana into its small form. The color of the sphere slowly turned from a pale blue to a dark blue color, a sign of the amount condensed mana contained within it. Still I added more and more to it.
The idea was to create an unstoppable and exceptionally powerful mana bomb. Though it seemed ridiculous I had just learned than any missing body parts could be reconstituted. I just prayed there wasn’t some kind of limit to that ability.
The dark blue orb began to violently shake in place. Unsure of how much to condense I tried keeping the outer edge of the sphere from releasing any mana. As my focus went more towards that I found the sphere shaking less and less for some reason. Unsure of this unusual phenomenon I curiously thought about it. Why was the sphere stabilized now when it was moments from bursting before?
As the gears in my head began to turn the answer came to me.
“Of course, it was so obvio-”
My concentration had slipped at the moment of realization. Before I could finish voicing out my thoughts a bright light enveloped me as the sound of glass shattering had sounded. A sudden force caused my mind to blank out, making me unconscious. Though before that, I managed to hear the sounds of something bursting like a balloon. With a mental smirk at my victory I fell into unconsciousness.
