氷獣 (Hyōjū) - The Ice Beast

Hyōjū is a massive, four-legged yokai with a body resembling that of a giant wolf or bear, but much more fearsome and monstrous. Its fur is a mix of frosty white and icy blue, with crystalline shards of ice growing out of its back, legs, and head, giving it an armored appearance. The beast’s eyes glow with an eerie, cold blue light, and its breath releases freezing mist that turns the ground beneath it to ice.

Its claws are razor-sharp and made of pure ice, capable of slicing through diamond. Hyōjū’s tail is long and covered in spikes of ice, which it uses as a whip or to bludgeon enemies. The yokai’s maw is filled with jagged, ice-covered teeth, and each bite can freeze its prey instantly.

These Yokai,s are seven in number and were sealed by the earthly gods in seven different continents after causing the ice age.

Due to their dangerous Nature they were sealed within the depth of every continent where it's core could be found, The heavenly gods also placed a special condition if they were ever to be released....

To release them it requires pulling off their Hyoju Houjou at equal time intervals.

“The Hyoju?!” Sakura would exclaim as this was a beast that was quite popular to Onmyoji's as a folklore......

“Indeed, the Hyoju!” The High Priest would say while nodding his head affirmatively....

“At some point it came to me as normal logic” The High priest would say.

“The March ritual which Yuki-ona has begun is one which was strictly performed by gods due to their ability to defy logic” The High priest added...

“An immortal could never March to the end of the World in three days!” The High priest would say while staring at Hime...

“That is indeed true High priest! I've carried out the calculations ”Hime would say confidently.

“Well, let's hear it!” The High priest would reply curiously

“Well from the place where she began her march it would take 720Km to reach the end of the world, considering that she could walk at 10m/s which would take approximately 72 hours” Hime would reply with a calm tone.

A look of shock would bloom on Sakura,s face as she was left puzzled on how Hime conducted such calculations “Hime, how long did it take you to analyze that?” Sakura would ask.

“Hmm? 30 seconds to be precise!” Hime replied while rubbing her chin.

This was the resolve of the smartest Mortal in the World.

“So, what will our move be?” Shonen would ask...

“Alright! I'll be sending each of you to the depth of each continent in the World along with three Gold honor Onmyoji, excluding Abe and Sengoku who would be sent to the center of the earth” The high priest replied.

“Upon proper analysis,They plan to release the Hyoju in each continent to restore the world back to the ice age, which would make things way easier for Yuki-ona,s plan” The High priest added.

“if the Hyoju's have the power to plunge the world into an ice age then what would be the function of her march” Sengoku would ask.

“They can only freeze the world as we see it, Yuki-ona wishes to freeze it beyond what the Hyoju can do” The High priest replied.

“But it seems we are lacking numbers, we have to ensure Hyoju's aren't released from seven continents but we are only three who have been sent on the mission!” Sakura would say worriedly.

“i've already taken Extra measures, you don't need to worry!” The High priest replied.

“What about that portal that was Conjured in the sky a few moments ago!” Hime asked.

“i'll take care of it after dealing with some other issues, moreover nothing can be done to that portal until the save point of humanity has been created” The High priest replied.......

“Well, my role in this war would be to battle with Takemikazuchi!” The High priest added.

All the four Onmyoji,s looked in shock........

“Yare,yare! You all get worried over me easily,Moreover word has reached my ears that the god has been greatly weakened” The High priest would say confidently...

“My children don't fret! I'd win!” The High priest would say as shivers ran down the spine of the Onmyoji,s in the room.

“Alright then! That concludes our meeting!Please you all are required to begin preparations.” The High priest would say dismissing the meeting.....

The Onmyoji,s left the room and The High priest would be the only one left in it.

The High priest would conjure Four Will-o-wisp,s and seal a message within them......

“Now go! And tell each of them that the time to protect humanity has come again!” The High priest would say as the Will-o-wisp,s vanished...

Shonen would return back to the room alone to address the high priest on something.

He would Kneel before the High priest in respect and ask “Your honor! Please give me the permission to complete this mission alone!” Shonen would say with a calm tone....

“And why do you want to undergo such a risk if I might ask?” The High priest would ask curiously.

“Oh? You still haven't gotten over that day?” The high priest would say sending a sharp gaze to Shonen....

“That's not it, your honor!” Shonen would reply with fear overtaking his tone.

“It's just that to win this war i'm afraid i'll have to draw out that power again!” Shonen added.

After staring at Shonen for a while The High priest would say “You have my permission!” Shonen's eye soon gleamed with joy as he expressed his gratitude to the High priest “Thank you, your Honor!”

“Ughh, stop appreciating me like a child go get ready we're at war!” The high priest would say as he approached shonen and placed his hand on Shonen's shoulder saying “You can do it this time! I believe in you!”

Shonen would shed tears which he wiped off instantly as he ran out of the room to prepare.

In the city of Kidakagawa approached a dark complexioned man who held a black blade in it's scabbard and wore a fine samurai robe.
