Even while picking the piece of paper, he didn't stop talking.

He clicked his tongue while he was talking nonsense...

Sub smirks and open his mouth.

Before Sub could talk anymore, another piece of paper fell on his head.
When he picks it, room's bright lights were starting to fade out slowly...
He unfolds and looks at the paper, 'Fine! Now stop talking! Your using way too much words than I expected! Or do you want this chapter to end at short note? Because you are taking too many pages! If not then, shut up and let me start writing the chapter!!', was written on it.
「Oi....aren't you doing the same? Instead of putting all the blames on me, why not take some responsibility for your mistakes too?」< Sub >
With a bland expression, he looks up to the ceiling.
And as for the room's light, they were dimly lit now....
「....Ignoring me again, huh..? Fine...I won't say much. But--remember this! If I'm dissatisfied again, then I'll make sure to come out from this crappy storyline of yours to end your life for good!!」< Sub >
While Sub was talking nonsense, room lights finally turn off, making it pitch-black everywhere.

Under the HQ Building.
There was a big room, big enough to fit a whole football field.
On that room: there were several monitors glued at the one side of this room, every monitors were showing real-time footage from different locations.
To operate this room, there was more than hundred people in the work.
In the middle, there was a medium size table.
Sitting on them were; Mech-Country's President(Rhuko), Minister of Steam-Town 'Leon' and Minister of Litore-Town 'Lily'.
「Can Mr.President give an explanation again of, why my men are following Adventurers?」< Leon >
Leon said with confuse manner.
But--without saying anything, President(Rhuko) continue to look at the monitors front of him. On a certain monitor, a young boy and three females could be seen, entering the 'Amusement Park' at Steam-Town.
「...Mr.President?」
「Mr.President..?」
「Hm?」
Coming to his sense, President looks at both Ministers who were raising their eyebrow looking at him.
「Ah! Sorry about that. So ya were saying something, Mr.Leon?」< Rhuko >
With a short sigh, Leon said the same thing again.
「Ah yes. Yesterday; Ms.Jyoti one of 'Stardom' member came to visit me...」 < Rhuko >
Few years ago; when Sub's followers joined the 'Adventure-Guild', they raise their ranks dramatically and in few months time, they become the first SSS+ Adventurer in history, expect for Sub who had C+ rank at

Soon after, every Adventurers, staff members and citizens of Mech-Country started to call them 'Stardom', without their notice.
Thus, earning themselves a tittle, among crowds.
And upon hearing President word; Leon and Lily think for a moment, before Lily open her mouth.

「....I was able to hire Ms.Jyoti.....But instead of paying, she asked me to look after certain person until she returns....」< Rhuko >
President(Rhuko) daze off, remembering his first time meeting her.
When President(Rhuko) saw Jyoti for the first time at the hall, he felt immense pressure from her, which no one could detect expect for him who felt like; it was solely directed to him alone.....and thinking about it gave him a shiver to his spine 'til now....
But President(Rhuko) dismisses this thoughts and talks again.
「As ya both know, Mr.Leon spy team are following that 'Certain Person', right now....」< Rhuko >
While mixing a little lie in his talk, he looks back at the same monitor with keen eyes.
「...So, who's that 'Certain Person' that Ms.Jyoti wanted you to look after?」< Leon >
「Yeah~ Now, I'm also curious about this 'Certain Person'. Can you tell us, Mr.President? Who is it among these four..?」< Lily >
Looking at the same monitors as President(Rhuko), Leon and Lily said with curious voice.
Both Ministers looks at the monitors which President(Rhuko) looking at.

With a short sigh, President looks at them with tried eyes....

Both Ministers, gulp their salvia at President(Rhuko) words.
As for President(Rhuko), he couldn't help but to remember Jyoti's last words before she left his office, 'I promise to tear the very soul out of every one of them for using him to achieve their goals- de gozaru'.
Each time he remember; he would felt like a sword struck down at him, which give him a light panic attack from time to time......

After all the stuff that happen in 'Chapter 13'.
I returned home, got fresh and slept good for tomorrow morning.

Anyway!
I woke up next morning to find Jyoti and Num missing from the house and at kitchen they had left a sticky note saying, 'We have some job to take care of, so we'll be returning a little late, Master!'.
Well, I could care less about them.
After all, I have my own plans!
Me and the girls; Kitsune, Mirapdi and Rheka ate our breakfast and got ready to head out.
And here we are now; inside 'Steam-Town'.

And I turn my attention towards Mirapdi and Rheka, who were looking at us with confusing face.

When I look at Kitsune, she was still feeling down and looking at ground....

I try to cheer her up by offering her a popsicle later tonight.
Y'know, I usually don't go to kitchen. It's Num's job to make food, so only time when I go there is; in middle of night when I feel hungry.

I figured she wanted, so I break the popsicle in two and gave her one half.
And from that night; she started ask me randomly to make her a popsicle....
So I was sure, it will definitely cheer her up.

Suddenly, with full energy Kitsune spoke, while looking red....
And y'know.....whenever I see these type of reaction from her, I always get 'Yandere' vibes.....
Oh yeah, now that I think about it; 'Isekai Anime' are getting really weirder day by day, huh.....Nowadays, whenever I watch it; I feel like watching the same typical story again and again, with just different names.....
What's more is; 'Why the heck most 'Isekai' protagonist always get an Heram, and even worse is when the protagonist is dense as 'Osmium'.....and 'casue of this most of the production budget are spend on 'Thic Thigh' or on 'Jiggle Physics' to make appealing to audience....When I ask for a story!
...It's not like I hate it.....it just that....I couldn't get horny at all looking at it......And to confirm it, I even tried to fondle with Kitsune's and Jyoti's breasts at the same time to get the feeling, a few years back.....
But unfortunately....I didn't get any lust nor any sexual desires.....
And I always wonder; how it would feel if I ever have a nosebleed, just like the Characters from Mangas whenever they see something lustful.....
But since, it's not possible for me. So I'll just have to find something else which can give me pleasure, I always wanted....

A few minutes later; we were front of Amusement Park gate.

I saw too many people hustle-bustle around and in background, music was playing loud in speakers.
I'm amaze to see Mech-country's cities going their normal life, even when; today is the 'War Day'.....
Y'know, I've heard in news that; starting today, electricity will be supply only on 'Mech-City' and on 'Steam-Town'.
As for other cities and villages; all the citizens already have been evacuated, and staying in this town, or in 'Mech-City'.
And that's why, today; I can see so many stores and places get packed with crowds.....So, it'll be hard to buy something if I wanted....
And because of this....earlier back then, 'Ticket Counter' was also packed that I had to buy tickets from a 'Ticket Scalper*'......

At Steam-Town: inside the Amusement Park.
People were hustling and bustling around; and the people who were thrilled by the rides, were screaming top of their lungs that even the music which was playing in the background felt less louder compare to the people who are enjoying their day.
Among amid the crowd; two little girls at the age of 12 were walking---or to be precise, one girl was helping another girl by giving her shoulder as support.
The girl who was helping was: Rheka.
And the girl who was taking the support was looking down and some red substances was falling down the ground, as she can barely walk....
The girl who was taking support was: Mirapdi.
None of the people notice them, or just ignore them by looking the other way and some pull out their phone to record....
Suddenly, Mirapdi who wasn't looking good, fell down to the ground......
Rheka also quickly crouch down and held her hand for any impulse.
「S-Someone! Someone please help!! M-My friend mistakenly ate poison thinking it was food.....And now, I don't even know what to do!!」< Rheka >
Rheka said and looks at the crowds, while tears falling down from her cheeks.....
But--no one from the crowds came forward to help them instead they all just look or keep recording....
And Mirapdi, who was laying down was coughing red liquid which seems to be blood.....
When other people heard Rheka's pleading, they all turn their attention to them. And soon, people starts to surround them by all direction.
But---no one came forward to help. Instead, they keep a little distance, and more than half of the crowds were now recording them and some were talking to themselves, like; 'Oh no, what happen to this poor child..?', or 'No one is helping them....I have to show this to the whole world of how cold-hearted people have become!', were the only talk running through the crowds......
Many people and noise starts to rose seconds by seconds, that even the ones who were in line to buy tickets also slowly disform and starts to head towards the commotion to check out, what's going on....
And the attention of the crowds were: Mirapdi and Rheka.
Among the crowds: A young man step forward holding a phone in his hand.
「Welcome to the stream, guys! Today, I thought of visiting the Amusement Park of this city! But--to my horror, I saw two young ladies here, asking for help! So, I'll try to get closer for video quality! And don't forget to Like, Subscribe and Share my stream to your friends!!」

Rheka said in trembling voice while desperately shaking Mirapdi's body to wake her up......

When Rheka saw Kitsune coming towards their way, she instantly let go of young man's hands and ran towards Kitsune.
「E-Exuse me, Miss! C-Can you help my friend!? She isn't waking up!!」< Rheka >
Rheka said frantically, while tears falling down...
「Here. Give this pill to her, it'll help~!」< Kitsune >
「! Y-Yes!」
Rheka quickly took the round-white pill given by Kitsune and ran back to Mirapdi who was still laying motionless....
As for Kitsune, she walks towards the young man who was on the ground, trembling.
「Ara~ you okay?」
Kitsune said in calm voice while raising her one eyebrow, looking at the young man front of her.
「......*Sob*.......*Sob*......」
When the young man heard her voice, he slowly turns his head around with tearful face....the hands which Rheka had held previously, was totally crushed and bend in a way, that it was hard to describe in words.....
With a pathetic face, he just look at Kitsune who was just looking at him.

Without saying anything: young man took the small glass bottle which was offer by Kitsune and drank it in one go.
「....!?」
In an instant; where the injuries wore, a bright light shone before disappearing in thin air again and when he looks at his hands, he saw his hands fully healed like nothing had happen.
「..!! M-My hands! T-They're fully healed!!」
Young man said in full energy while picking up his phone which was on the ground.
「..!? M-Mirapdi-chan! You're finally awake!!」< Rheka >

When Mirapdi open her eyes, Rheka hug her tightly and cried....
And when the young man who saw this, puts his phone front of him and continue his stream.
「...C-Can you guys see it? The other girl whom we all thought was 'dead' came back to life! By the help from this mysterious lady! Oh? And thanks for the '200 Bits' donation!」
Young man said and turns the camera at Kitsune who rolled her eyes in respond.

After buying the tickets; I was sitting at a bench while reading this week 'Jump'.
Moments later: I saw Kitsune, Mirapdi and Rheka coming towards me.
「Yo. I assume, everything gone smoothly?」< Sub >
「Yes, Master!」
「I see. Then, shall we go now?」< Sub >
I said looking at the trio.
They all nodded in unison to my question.
With that said; we all starts to walk towards the 'Carousel' ride.
When we're walking towards the ride: I couldn't help but to feel sorry for those people who believe that 'Troll Pharmacist' is real....In truth; it was actual 'Troll' and such store doesn't even exist, in the first place.
And the white-pill that Kitsune gave to Rheka was; just a 'Glucose Pill' and nothing more. And such 'Revival Pill' doesn't exist.....
And y'know, the white paper which had phone number on it, actually.....doesn't even exist or was just a random numbers.....And I can confirm it, as I'm the one who wrote it in my free time.
And all of that commotion earlier; was just a distraction for other. And for me it was a chance to buy all tickets, I needed.

When I was thinking all of this; Mirapdi came closer to me and held out couples of small red capsules in her small hands.

Rheka must've given to her 'cause of the role she was playing.
The red substance which seems like blood, was actually just a sauce.
And I think I know the reason, of why Mirapdi was giving me this capsules...
After all, I'm the one who put the sauce inside this capsules.....And my reasoning was: whenever I eat street foods, I feel with sauce it can be more better...So I started to make at least five of this capsules per day....But since, I was doing it for more than two years, that I had way more than I needed.....
So, I thought of giving these to my followers and their followers....But, who knew it'll come in handy for this type of act....

To my word; she puts the capsules inside her pocket.

I said when we reach the ride.
I took out two tickets for the ride and give them to Mirapdi and Rheka.
As for Kitsune and me, we were too old to ride this thing.

As for me; I just have something else to do....
When both girls left for the ride; I put my left hand into my pockets and took out stack of papers which was in three bundles.

I said still counting the tickets, without even looking at her.
Each bundle had hundred tickets in it. And it cost me 'one sliver coin' for each tickets.....
In total; I've spent three gold coin for tickets only.... and now, I've only got five gold coins left....
The reason: I've bought this many tickets was, I'm planning to sell this tickets just like 'Ticket Scalpers' and make some profit.
So I can have pocket money for myself, without having to take any quest at 'Adventure-Guild'. 'Cause it's a pain in the ass to do work.
And after all, today; there are so many people coming in this 'Amusement Park', so it open a new way for business!

Anyway!
After counting all the tickets, I put them back to my pocket. And also, girls came outside from the ride.
「Had fun?」
I said, looking at them.

I said and start walking.

And now, we're walking to a certain place that I had plan to visit and the only reason I've came here, in the first place.

I mutter, while we're walking near the end of this park and the place which was holding an event.
Last week; people were advertising for an upcoming event near the book store. And what I learned was: today, inside the Amusement Park, a 'Convention' is being held.
And not just an ordinary convention: it was 'Comicon'!
In this convention; many Manga fans gathered here to meet their favorite 'Mangaka' artist and to meet with other fellow fans.
And my reason to come here is to buy Manga, and get an autograph from Mangaka artist, and after few months; sell them to die hard fans in higher price than I bought.
「...Mister Sub, look! A cat person!!」< Mirapdi >
Mirapdi grab my arm and said, looking at the lady who was walking front of us in cosplay dress.
「Ah, you'll see more of those. And Mirapdi stay close to me, ok?」< Sub >
I said while put my hand lightly on her head.
Since, I've already came in this type of convention before so I was kinda familiar with this environment.
But as for the girls; this was there first time. And more importantly, for Mirapdi who was new to Mech-Country.
So I want to make sure that she stays close to me anytime, or with the girls so she won't get lost in the crowds.
Moments later: we reach at the massive building front of us which was holding the event.
「Oh wow~! I've never seen this many 'Beastmen' gathered in one place!!」< Mirapdi >
Mirapdi said and looks her surroundings with glittering eyes.
--!? B-Beastmen...?
...Ah, I see. It seems Mirapdi didn't understand, huh. Well, I guess I can give her some little explanation.
「...You see, Mirapdi....They aren't 'Beastmen' whom you came to know. They are just ordinary people who are dressed up in costumes.」< Sub >
I said looking at her.
「...? R-Really....? But why is that....?」< Mirapdi >
Mirapdi said tilting her head.
「You can say; in these type of event many people gathered in one, dressing up as their favourite fictional character which they come to love.」< Sub >
「...Ah, I see. Then....next time when we come again, I'd like to dress up like you, Mister Sub!」< Mirapdi >
Mirapdi said and looks at me with innocent face.
(..! W-What now?!)
...Ah..I could clearly see that she couldn't differentiate between a Manga 'Character' and from the real ones huh....But still, she's learning something new, though!
And I couldn't help but to give faint smile to her and crouch down to meet her gaze.
「Then, you can't be like me 'til you have this with you.」< Sub >
I said, while taking off my 'Blue Scarf' which was dangling around neck and held out to Mirapdi.
The blue 'Scarf' was made by Eva sis, which was like a memento for me.....But I decided to give it to Mirapdi.
「Just between you and me. This 'Scarf' is a gift from a certain person who was really close to me. So I hope, you'll take a good care of it.」< Sub >
I mutter in my usual tone to her, so Kitsune and Rheka couldn't hear us.
「!!? A-Are you sure, M-Mister Sub!!?」< Mirapdi >
But--Mirapdi said in surprised voice that Kitsune and Rheka looks at her with suspicion, raising their eyebrow....
「Shh...don't make them suspicious of you.」< Sub >
I said bringing my face closer to her.
「! S-Sorry.....I didn't mean too....」< Mirapdi >
「Yeah, I know. So don't worry about it...」< Sub >
I said, patting her head gently and got up.
「Let's go, inside.」
I look at the girls before walking into the building. Y'know, Mirapdi was already wearing the 'Scarf' that I gave her, and I'm not gonna lie...she looks more cute than ever!
Anyways!
When we enter the convention; we were met by a huge hall and crowds....
Kitsune and Rheka were looking around with keen eyes....and whenever I see them both like this, I always get sibling vibes from them....
Mirapdi clenched my hand more tightly, looking a little anixous......
And as for me, I put my other hand into 'Storage Pouch' and took out a small plastic bag full of 'Gummy Bears'.
「Mirapdi, here. Have some 'Gummy Bears'.」< Sub >
I said while I hand out the bag.
「....」
「It has different types of flavors too.」< Sub >
「..Ok..」
With a clumsy manner, she finally took the bag and opens it.
「! I-It's tasty!!」
Mirapdi said and began to eat more, without worry.
And when I look at Kitsune and Rheka.....They were still looking at people around them with curiosity...and having talk between themselves....
「Hmm....It seems humans do have some tastes, huh...」< Kitsune >
Kitsune said looking at people who were cosplaying, but more specifically at girls....
「Um-hmm, indeed, Kitsune-sama! So, what you think?」< Rheka >
「...It's actually quite daring to wear these types of dress, which Master only sees it as a cleavage....But, it's also worth trying! Who knows, I might able to seduce Master!!」< Kitsune >
Kitsune said and looks at the girls who were showing a lot of cleavage...
「I agree! It worth trying, Kitsune-sama!!」< Rheka >
Rheka also said to encourage her.
「....That means......」
Kitsune mutter and look up to the ceiling and starts to fantasize.....with a nosebleed.....
「!? K-Kitsune-sama! Y-Your nose is bleeding!!」< Rheka >
Rheka was shocked to see her nose bleeding out of nowhere.
「Hm? Oh, it's nothing..」
Kitsune said without a flinch.
But--I, who was listening to their gossip, felt a little annoyed by this.
So I step in between them, and hold Kitsune's cheek and turn her face around to face me.
「Oi Kitsune.....Why are you bleeding?」< Sub >
「!!? M-Master!!?」
Kitsune suddenly got shocked to see my face, out of nowhere.
「Well?」
「....I-It's p-p-p-p-probably 'casue of 'S-S-Sugar'! I-I'm sure of it! .....It must be because I've ate that 'Cotton Candy' earlier!!」< Kitsune >
Kitsune said and nods several times as to confirm this....
...Is she trying to make excuse by blaming on that type of stuff..?
「...Is it true, Rheka?」
I said while turning my attention to her.
「-!! Y-Yes!!」
...And now, Rheka was also supporting her statement.....
*Sigh* Whatever.....
「So be it, then...」
I said letting go of her.
Without saying more; I start to walk towards the crowds and following me was Mirapdi eating 'Gummy Bears'.
Kitsune and Rheka soon followed after.
My main destination of this convention is; 'Artist Alley*'.

...Actually, it wasn't much packed than what I've expected....
And yeah, there was two section inside the 'Artist Alley'.
One was for regular ones.
And another one was for 'Doujinshi*' ones.

When I enter the section, I saw lines of people but not too much, though.

「Hm? Where's Kitsune..?」
When I look at the girls, Kitsune was nowhere to be seen....
And Mirapdi and Rheka also didn't seem to know.....
But....why am I getting the feeling that I know where she actually is....

When I turn around to other section.... I saw her, at one of the stall reading 'Doujinshi' manga, without paying and jamming the line......
「Hmm....I wonder if this trick can work on Master-ne....」< Kitsune >
Kitsune mutter, with another nosebleed and looking red....
W-Well...She's old enough to read, so I don't care as long as she don't do anything weird to influence Mirapdi.
And I'm already suspicious at Rheka of what she's been teaching to Mirapdi, y'know!
「!?」
Suddenly, I felt something coming from above the sky, to which I stare at the building's ceiling....
「Mister Sub? Is something wrong..?」< Mirapdi >
Mirapdi said tilting her head.
「...Mirapdi, stay with Rheka, ok? I'll be back in a moment. And Rheka, please tell Kitsune to be on her guard.」< Sub >
I said looking at the both girls.
「....Umm.....Okay.....」
「!? L-Leave it to me, Lord Sub!」< Rheka >
With their nods; I turn to leave them behind, and enter W/C.
After making sure no one was inside; I teleported myself at the top of this building, and look up to the sky.
「Hm.....It's magic alright.」
I could sense faint magic coming from the sky, and as seconds passes by; it's presence was getting stronger....
「Let's check it out for myself.」< Sub >
Since, I can't fly like Jyoti nor do I have 'Flying Nimbus' like Num.....so, all I can do is 'Short Teleportation' magic to move around the sky.
And yes! I literally have limitless mana, so it won't be a problem for to do it many times as I want.

And I'm sure; it's pretty high up there....So, I create a barrier around me for safety since I'll be going to high altitude....and I really don't wanna ran out of oxygen up there.....

With each short teleportation I was crossing over 1000m, and not before long I was over the clouds.
Moments later; I saw and feel silent just total silent everywhere, and only gush of winds and the Sun's ray hitting ground below.
「I-It's....It's such a beautiful sight to be hold!」< Sub >
I genuinely feel at ease to the point that I even took off my mask and hold my 'DSLR-camera' to take some pictures of this beautiful scenery.....

But---I'm up here for another reason, not to take pictures....
When I look up top of my head; I saw....A massive fireball huge as a mountain falling down at 'Amusement Park' in rapid speed.
And if that were to happen, there will be a lot of casutiles.....and more importantly, I can't let Mirapdi get hurt!
With that in mind; I teleported near the fireball and looked at it. Only to realize; that the fireball actually looks like a 'Mini-Sun'......
And for whatever reason; I wanna try something before destroying it.....
So the thing is.......sometimes; when I watch 'low-budget' movies, I would saw something very 'unrealistic' scene where the movie tries to make the 'MC' look badass as possible......with terrible 'CGI'....
And right now, I've just come up with an idea for a stunt!
And it was a good thing; Jyoti wasn't here with me, or else she would've get pissed at me and stop me from doing it....
And she's been overprotective from the very first day I met her......I wonder why........
Anyways!
I took out a 'Rolling Paper' from my 'Storage Pouch'.
And yeah, I asked for Rolling Paper a while back from Jyoti and I still have it, though!
...It's not important anyway!
Without wasting anymore time; I made a small hole on the barrier and put the Rolling Paper in it and tried to take puffs without fire......
「*Puff* *Puff* *Puff*」
But--Before I knew it; Rolling Paper got lit itself up into thin air....
「Now, this is what I call badass.」< Sub >
'Cause of hot pressure from the fireball, it was able to lit itself up.
But.....it's just sad that no one was here to see my awesomeness......
「Well, I better get going now.」< Sub >
I said while taking a puff and raising my left hand to the fireball.
My bracelet starts to react; and soon it turns into gooey black substance, covering my hand.
「....」
At sudden speed; gooey substance lunch itself towards the fireball, devouring it whole, in an instant.
And turns itself into bracelet again.
After taking the last puff I throw the Rolling Paper and teleport myself back to W/C.
And thank god, there wasn't anyone inside this time either.
「*Phew*」
With a sigh; I got near the washing-basin to wash my hands.
And you know; during my time up there when I had took off my mask and didn't care about my mana leakage.....that time my barrier became so much bigger in short period of time that it was covering a whole continent...... And in it, I was able to sense so many lifeforms presence in one scan......
....And I got more surprised; when I detect Jyoti's and Num's presence from the battlefield, without my knowledge......
「Are they plotting, something---hm?」< Sub >
Suddenly, I felt somewhat warm from one of my pocket.....
「!!? T-These.....」
When I check it for what's making it warm.....and it was devastating........
「...The t-tickets.....no.......my three gold coins......」< Sub >
The tickets which I had brought earlier........all were in ashes........all the hard work..........all the profit.........which would've been mine..........
「Are now gone!」
I said while splashing water on my face to cool down.....
「...C-Calm down, Sub. Not everything is over yet!」< Sub >
I said, looking myself up to the mirror, splashing water again and slap my cheeks hard, to regain my composure.
After all, I can still make a little bit of profit by selling Manga as I planned! All I need is to buy them and keep inside my 'Storage Pouch' so it can be protected at all cost!
With that in my mind; I open the W/C door and step outside.
「.....」
However--what I saw front of me: left me for more speechless than before.......
...The 'Artist Alley' which I had left earlier....was now, all in flames......my money and all that profit.......
「....are totally gone now......」< Sub >
I mutter as I look around in shock.....
And it seems, no one was hurt, though, which was a good thing.....But still....I'm having hard time to think straight......
But--without getting to think; I saw Mirapdi and Rheka running towards me.
「M-Mister Sub! A-Are you alright!?」< Mirapdi >
Mirapdi said in panic voice and jump at me....
To which I caught her in mid-way and look at Rheka.
「Rheka, explain.」
「!? Y-Yes! After you left; a small fireball suddenly broke through the ceiling crashing down here....But, in neck of time I was able to make everyone evacuate from the site!」< Rheka >
「I see. And what about Kitsune? Did she not help you?」< Sub >
I said, as I put Mirapdi on the ground.
「....A-A-Actually.....the thing is....Kitsune-sama didn't move from her place at all and 'cause of that she also got caught in wildfire.....」< Sub >
「....So, you mean.....」
I said while looking at the flames....
When I look more closely....I could see her behind the flames......But---she wasn't moving at all, instead she was just standing like a statue.....
As far as Rheka and I know: Kitsune have high-resistance to all type of elements....so, this much of heat was useless against her.....but--still, she wasn't moving......
And Rheka kinda look panic about it, though.....
Well, I guess I'll just ask Kitsune about it.
(Hey Kitsune. Did something happen?) < Sub >
I said through 'Thought Communication'.
(....M-Master......)
With that word: she finally looks at me with a grim expression......and around her, ashes of papers were flying around.......

I said, looking at the hole, from which fireball came through.....
....Now, that I think about it.....was it my fault..? It seems plausible that I might've have been the one who actually failed to destroy that huge fireball earlier.....

I whisper to myself as I look back at the scene again, but now; I was feeling kinda guilty inside......
No no no no no no no no! I-I'm not at fault here! I-In fact; I'm also a victim here.....and since, this is one of many possibilities....
Let me think about another one......hmm.......
Ah yes! The fireball sure did came from the battlefield! After all, I could sense same type mana signature from the battlefield as well, just like the fireball had....
So, the real culprit is: caster of that spell!
Y'know, if that fireball didn't came here, if wouldn't even happen, in the first place!
I nodded to myself to confirm it and look at Kitsune again.
(Kitsune, I think I know who did this.) < Sub >
I said while putting my mask on.
(!? Y-You know, Master!?)
(Um-hmm. But the culprit was, at the battlefield.) < Sub >

Kitsune said and came walking out from the flames, without any damage.
(Yeah, let's go.)
I said as I look at the both girls.
「Rheka, I'm going out for a moment with Kitsune. So, take care of Mirapdi while I'm out.」< Sub >
「Yes! You can leave it to me, Lord Sub!!」< Rheka >
While putting one hand on her chest, Rheka said bowing down to me.....
....And I'm still not comfortable with this type formality.......
「Mirapdi, I have some adult business to take care of. So until I return, be a good girl, ok?」< Sub >
I crouch down and said to her in soft voice.
「Um-hm, I will! So, please come back safe, Mister Sub!!」< Mirapdi >
She said while hugging me tightly, looking up to me......
To which; I patted her head gently, while nodding to her words.
「Well then, I'll take my leave.」< Sub >
With that word; Me and Kitsune parted ways from them, for now. And heading for battlefield.
But---before, going to the battlefield; I wanna have some talk with Mr.President about some things....
Since, I already knew he's mana signature. So it won't be hard to contact with him through 'Thought Communication'.
And how do you ask?
Well....it's simple; I've already know his Mana signature, the moment when he was fighting with Tom....So, yeah......
...What? Still don't understand?
Then, I'll say this; read more fantasy novels for better understanding!

And, Kitsune and I were outside the town, while I was talking with Mr.President. And we continue to walk towards the forest so we both can teleport near the battlefield.

For a brief moment; Mr.President hesitate to talk, before opening his mouth again to explain what had happen with him.
As for Kitsune and me; we were going pretty deep in the woods and I couldn't sense those men who were following me.
And, for me specifically; I feel like I'm listening a audiobook covering by Mr.President in earphone, telling me the first half of the chapter 14, while we were walking between the trees.
Well.....It's not that bad---but the chapter---no, this whole series is trash to listen or to even read, from the get-go!!
I wanna complain more about this crappy storytelling style....But, I have to teleport now to move the story plot!
「Right, Kitsune?」
I said looking at her.
「Y-Yes?」
Kitsune tilt her head in question.
「Oh, nothing. Let's get going now.」< Sub >
「! Y-Yes!」
Kitsune puts her hand around my arm, looking really red......
Wait.....Is she fantasizing about wired stuff again......

「Here we go.」
With that word: I teleported myself and Kitsune, near the battlefield zone.
And yes, I'm still listening Mr.President giving me the explanation about chapter 14.....
