What... What?
Why are these here?
When did they get here?
I looked over to Sparkle, who had an emberassed yet frightened look on her face.
Well, i wouldnt call it a face, it was more of a thin layer of thick and hard goo, like the crust of a planet. A very soft and gooey planet.
She had told me there were intruders in our home, and that they had killed Blip.
I had struggeled to believe it, but... With the proof in front of my eyes, what can i do but believe?
I studied the two with a stern look on my face.
First and fore ost was a large girl. Her hair was blond and shoulder-lengh whilst her eyes, as a contrast, were a bright shade of blue, like the sky on a cloudless day. She didnt wear any armour, but instead wore a long dress made from simple cloth. She looked like a very avaridge villager girl. However, inher hands, she held a sword. The tip was shivering for some reason. or another, but, other then that, she didnt seem like a warrior in the least.
Beside her, something far more interesting stood.
It was very small, smaller than myself. The first thing you saw would be a white, homemade pot. After that, the eight roots sticking out from the top of the pot like the legs of a spider. Following that, one would see a whitem pale flower, as pale as the bone on a fleshless corpse. Every single part of the flower was white, including its stem. The only non-white thing on it were the small, almost invisable spots on its leaves.

And finally, one would notice the small girl sticking out of the flower. At first, i thought it was only the upper body that petruded, but i soon noticed how the lower body stuck out as well. The body began at the knees. Said body was in the form of a young girl. However, she seemed to be not a girl, but a pixie or fairy. Whatever she was, it was pure, innocent, and it gave off the auro of something that had to be cherished, protected, loved.
Its big eyes were staring at me, and its pink lips were slightly parted. Whether this was due to confusion or surprise, ive yet to know.
Whatever it was, it resembeled an Arachne greatly.
I didnt know what to do.
Sure, ive been stealing carrots from the nearby village for a while now, but... I had commanded my dudes to do that.
Id never seen a human.
Not once since i died.
Not that i saw people often when i lived...
In fact, i used to despise humans. Well, i didnt, i was just terrible at interacting with them.
Perheaps that is why ive succeeded here?
These slimes arent too chatty, but...
I shook my head internally.
Nostalgia wont help me now.
What do i do...
Ah! I could talk with them!
”Sshshhshhhhhiiiiiiiii!”
”Åh, åh gud...”
The girl spoke. She must have understood my attempt at speech as some sort of attack signal... Well, however she understood it, she attacked Sparkle.
”Shhhiiii!”
Sparkle gave a shriek as her gooey insides welled out. I was just about to heal her with my magic, when...
The Arachne attacked. Two of the roots which she had been holding as the scythes of a mantis lunged forwards like snakes with incredible speed, and, before i finnished the incantation for ”Light Heal”, burrowed themselves inside the wound. Sparke didnt even have time to react before those snakes slithered themselves around her precious core and ended her.
Her body collapsed in on itself like a dying star, and i was swept up with the urge to kill.
No, the urge to feed.
