[Diane Pov]
I watched in horror as the explosion consumed Adam and Alpha, the force of the blast sending shockwaves through the area. I knew we had to move quickly, to take advantage of the chaos, but my heart ached for Adam. His sacrifice was the only reason we had a chance to escape.
"Jonathan!" I called out, searching for him amidst the rubble. I found him lying on the ground, his body battered and bleeding. My heart clenched with fear. He was barely conscious, his breaths shallow and labored. I couldn't lose him too.
Desperation drove me as I pulled out the potion Adam had given us, I had no idea if it would work, but I couldn't just stand by and do nothing. Jonathan's life depended on it.
"Please, let this work," I whispered, pouring the potion into his mouth with my left hand. I held his head up, ensuring he swallowed every drop. His eyes fluttered, and I could see the life slipping away from him. Tears streamed down my face as I pleaded, "Come back to me, Jonathan. Please."

The potion's effects were immediate but strange. Warmth spread through my body, pushing back the cold grip of death. My heartbeat steadied, and the pain faded to a dull ache. I could feel the magic healing my injuries, but it was slow and painful.
I gasped, drawing in a deep breath as the potion took full effect. My vision cleared, and I saw Diane's tear-streaked face hovering over me. "Diane," I croaked, my voice weak but alive.
"Jonathan!" she exclaimed, relief flooding her features. She hugged me tightly, careful of my injuries. "Thank God. I thought I lost you."
I tried to sit up, but my body protested a little bit. "Adam… is he…?" The words felt heavy on my tongue, laden with fear and dread.
Diane's eyes welled up with tears as she looked at me. "I don't know," she said, her voice breaking. "He got caught in the explosion. He probably..." She couldn't finish the sentence. "Sorry," she whispered, tears streaming down her face.
My own eyes filled with tears at her words. "Is that so," I choked out, the reality of Adam's fate hitting me like a physical blow. "Fuck this.... Why did I survive? If only Adam was the one who survived this mess instead of me."
Diane reached out with her left hand, gently touching my shoulder. "No, it's not your fault... don't blame yourself. It's that bastard's fault, that monster."
I looked at Diane, seeing the pain and determination in her eyes, despite her broken right hand. She managed to hold out, to be strong, even in the face of such overwhelming odds. Diane was really strong.
"You're right," I said, swallowing hard. "Thanks, Diane, for surviving."
Diane looked at me, a sad smile breaking through her tears. "I should be the one who said that, you idiot," she replied softly. Then, she hugged me tightly, her left arm wrapping around me with surprising strength.
I hugged her back, letting the warmth of her embrace comfort me. In that moment, despite the pain and the loss, I felt a glimmer of hope. We were still here, still fighting.

I was amazed to see Jonathan's injuries healing right before my eyes. Despite still feeling some pain, he could stand up, feeling stronger. It was a relief to see him getting better, even if it was just a little bit.
"You're healing!" I exclaimed, unable to contain my surprise and relief.
Jonathan glanced down at his body, a mix of disbelief and gratitude evident on his face. "Thanks," he said, his voice tinged with amazement. Then, his attention turned to the vial of potion in my hand. "Um, this potion... now that I think about it, what is this?"
"It's given by Adam," I explained, my mind still reeling from the revelation.
"Adam?" Jonathan's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "How could he have this potion?"
Before I could respond, a chilling voice interrupted us, freezing us in place.
"Hello, Motherfucker."
I felt a cold shiver run down my spine as I recognized the voice instantly. Alpha.
Turning slowly, we saw him stagger towards us, battered and bloodied but unmistakably alive. His twisted smile sent a chill through me, his words dripping with malice.
"You think you can defeat me so easily?" he taunted, his gaze flickering between Jonathan and me.

As Diane and Jonathan stared in disbelief at Alpha's reappearance, Diane managed to stammer out, "H-How are you still alive?"
Alpha, his twisted grin widening, retorted, "Well, because I am me?" His response dripped with arrogance, but his demeanor suddenly shifted as he attempted to take another step forward.
Agony contorted his features, and he collapsed to his knees, laughing maniacally through the pain. "Ahahahaha, to think I became like this," he spat out between gasps.
Seizing the opportunity presented by Alpha's restriction, Diane turned to Jonathan, her eyes wide with urgency.
"Let's run, let's get out of here," she urged, recognizing that Alpha's injuries had temporarily hindered his ability to pursue them.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
Jonathan nodded in agreement, his own adrenaline pumping as they realized this might be their only chance to escape. "Yeah, let's go!" he affirmed, his voice echoing with determination.
With a shared glance, they turned and sprinted away from the scene, their footsteps echoing in the dimly lit surroundings. The urgency of their escape fueled their movements as they raced through the darkness, each step bringing them closer to safety and away from the lingering threat of Alpha.

As Diane and I ran, my gaze lingered for a moment longer on the spot where Alpha had fallen. Despite the chaos and danger we'd just faced, my mind couldn't shake the mystery of the potion Adam had given me. It had healed me miraculously, perhaps this could save Adam just like me.
Turning to Diane, I asked urgently, "Where is the potion?"
Diane's expression turned to one of confusion as she searched her pockets. "I don't know," she replied, her voice tinged with concern. "It suddenly disappeared. I have no idea where it went."
I sighed, feeling a pang of frustration at the disappearance of the potion. "Is that so," I muttered, my mind racing with unanswered questions.
With one last glance in the direction where I believed Adam had perished, I whispered, "Bye, my friend."
Diane's voice pulled me back to the present. "Let's go!" she urged, her tone firm with determination.
I nodded, steeling myself for the journey ahead. "Let's go," I agreed, pushing aside my lingering doubts as we continued our escape into the unknown.

Meanwhile Alpha side
[3rd Pov]
As Alpha lay on the ground, his laughter echoed through the building. His mind raced with the exhilaration of narrowly escaping death. He couldn't help but revel in his own cunning, acknowledging that his survival had been a close call.
"To think I almost died back then," he mused, his voice tinged with a mix of amusement and relief. The memory of shielding Adam's body from the explosion flashed through his mind, a moment of split-second decision that had altered the course of his fate.
He thought about how lucky he was that the explosion didn't damage his head, which would've been a real problem. But hey, even if it did, as long as he was still conscious, he figured he'd bounce back somehow. It was like he had this unbreakable will to survive, no matter what.
But deep down, he knew he wasn't invincible. If someone managed to attack his heart or head until he was unconscious, that could be the end of him. It was a sobering thought, reminding him that despite his incredible regeneration, he wasn't immortal.
Suddenly Thoughts of Adam consumed him, the mere mention of his name sending shivers down Alpha's spine. "Adam, Adam, Adam," he repeated, the name a mantra of both admiration and disdain.
With a wicked smile, Alpha imagined their inevitable reunion, relishing the thought of how Adam would react to discovering his survival. Just imagining Adam's response filled Alpha with both excitement and disdain, intensifying his eagerness for their next clash.
Suddenly, Alpha bit his hand, letting blood flow onto the ground as he wrote a message. With each letter, he felt a rush of excitement, knowing Adam would find it. This message would start a new dangerous phase in their rivalry.
"With this," Alpha mused, his eyes gleaming with malice, "Adam will know I'm still alive." he thought.
As he gazed at the ominous message scrawled in blood, Alpha's laughter reverberated once more. "I wonder," he pondered with a wicked grin, "What will Adam feel when he learns of my survival? Will he be consumed by rage and obsession? Oh, how I long for that moment to arrive." With a sense of twisted anticipation, Alpha eagerly awaited the inevitable clash that would define the next chapter of their deadly rivalry.

Meanwhile
[Adam pov]
As I regained consciousness in the familiar surroundings of the beginning room, relief washed over me. The voice in my mind confirmed my revival, granting me another chance to set things right.
Without hesitation, I bolted towards the location where the chaos had unfolded moments ago. But as I arrived, I was met with an empty, debris-strewn landscape. Panic threatened to consume me until my eyes fell upon a message scrawled in blood.
The message written in blood sent a chill down my spine as I read the words. "Your friends are still alive." Relief surged through me like a tidal wave, accompanied by a fierce anger at the revelation that Alpha had survived the explosion.
"Dont Worry they escaped from me," the message continued, igniting a flicker of hope within me. My friends were safe, but Alpha's survival posed a threat that couldn't be ignored
"Their luck saved them, and yes, I'm still alive," the words seemed to sneer, making it clear that our victory was far from complete..
"See you, Adam, in the Wrong Turn plot," the final words mocked, filling me with a sense of urgency and determination.
"That bastard is still breathing; I have to end him. He's the real threat. If he's after the Wrong Turn plot, then those protagonists are in danger because of him! Damn it!
"But I'm still weak. I need to get stronger, much stronger than before. I remember that there are three years left before the Wrong Turn plot unfolds. The prequel, which is the beginning of Wrong Turn, that fourth movie starts in 2003, where those Weston University students got lost during winter break. They found some shelter—I'm not sure what it's called, but I have to investigate. I still have time left. It's still 2000, according to my memories. So, I have three years to train."
With three years until our next encounter, I committed to training hard. The memory of Alpha's smirk kept me focused and motivated.
"Just you wait, Alpha," I muttered, my voice filled with determination. "Once I'm ready, your reign of terror will be over."
