The mirror that hung on the vine-covered wall expanded twice its size as they all got comfy on the padded seats. It may not seem unusual to Jack, Dimitri, or the servant, since they may have witnessed similar events a million times. Jayne, on the other hand, was vastly alerted, seeing what occurred next.
As the mirror increased, so did a light, which flickered around the frame to the observers. The sensation she felt was as if she were being transported, hovering over humans that she didn't even recognize, much as in those strange dreams everyone has from time to time.

A foreign world, exclusively heavily inhabited by mere humans, existed in another time and realm. There was a child named Miyana, or Miya for short, who lived with her mother and both of her grandparents.
Everyone in a generous municipality knew almost every person and everything that happened there. When the trustworthy traders sent from the neighboring city arrive to provide us with the monthly merchandise for the schools, stores, and hospitals, the entire district commences buzzing louder than a bee hive.
Working together to get everything ready for the exclusive group of international elite foreigners, who will need to go through several document checks and other requirements to stay a night or two in this paradise of a resort.
The biggest benefit, according to Miyana, of having to live in a hidden enclosed metropolis maintained by the military government is not the international elites who come to visit, but what occurs after the outsiders depart. When specified visitors arrive in the enclosed city, Miyana's father and his selected unit are forced by law to stay in their station for a few days for extra safety procedures.
Even if the headquarters isn't too far from the city, it's kinda devastating for the young individuals who have to wait longer for their family members to return home after spending more days away from what they need to.
Miya's entire family would drive to the mountains near the public training center to camp out for the weekend after her father returned from his unscheduled laboring weekday patrol. The single major benefit of her father's job is that he will have more days off after the elite visit is finished before he is needed to return to his station. Even if it's only for a little while longer than she spent with her family altogether, Miyana is satisfied with her lifestyle within the preserved, guarded city and seems to have no desire to change any of it.
Miyana is brought up to believe never to be egotistical and to never deny food or support to anybody in need, no matter what the circumstances. That's what her family had always taught her. As a result, she spent most of her time after school waiting for her mother. So, since her mother has never had a job, they could both volunteer at the senior center, hospitals, and a few other locations for an hour or just enough to pass the time.
This will earn them V-points, often known as Volunteer points, from the city. The more points you contribute, the higher your family name will be on the roster to be contacted for better quality products, or it may be swapped out to pay for house bills.
Miyana realizes that helping her out makes her mother delighted to see the home bill reduce by what it typically is because her father is underpaid and the majority of their food is grown in the backyard by her grandmother. However, Miya would discreetly ditch her mother on certain days to linger out and play with friends her age, as well as their older siblings.
During the school day, they determined who will be where and decide whether they will have time or slip out of family activities to hang out. That would mostly either be Central Park or the movie theater at the corner, where they could slip in without the manager or staff noticing. If not, the most popular meeting area for every child in town needs to be by Border River Creek. Where every kid goes to catch some fish to take home.
That same day, after her volunteering escape, Miyana caught up with her pals and discussed what they should do for tomorrow, as the weather forecast promised this would be a beautiful week. They remained silent, unsure what to do, waiting for someone to speak. “If your bums don't know what to do, let me advise you. We ride tomorrow!” Everyone stared at Miyana, who was standing there, pounding her chest like a wild beast.

She didn't know how clear she needed to be, she always just presumed they were on the same wavelength since they constantly went with her flow. “Let's take our bike to see our relatives at the base, during school, you dunderheads.” The kids all agreed with Miyana on a union.

Without considering the consequences, a student spilled the beans to the entire school that evening, and the group of five turned to at least the majority of the school, preparing as if they were going to war. Quickly, every grade level of juveniles came to the area, where the first five were meeting that morning. Everyone had everything they needed and remained silent when any adult asked as to what they were up to. Miyana waited as the meet-up spot kept getting larger and larger by the second.
Fortunately for them all, no adults were around to stop them at the crossing; the parents all assumed they were on their way to school, only for the children to slip out of the city in groups of ten to the desolate road that leads to just one destination.
Children ranging in age from third grade to middle school to high school teens raced their bikes or tricycles along the vacant road; others pulled carts with children who were unfortunate enough not to have pedals. While other wagons were generally loaded with snacks, bottles of water, comic books, and toys to keep them entertained during the journey. Not every youngster who tagged along had relatives in this particular location; others had relatives back at home, but they decided to tag along to skip school.
Miyana was overjoyed to have so many fellow students join her. Unfortunately, as pleased as she was, it wasn't the same back home. Since the school noticed numerous vacant seats. Teachers questioned the younger students who were compelled to stay behind if they knew anything, but nothing came out of their mouths since they, too, had no knowledge of what was going on.
The principal requested that every member of staff contact the children's relatives, even the janitors and lunch workers were forced to contact family members. Off-duty troops, police officers, and parents went out searching for the missing children, who made up half of the residential population in the city.
The disappearance immediately traveled throughout the city, eventually reaching the medical souvenir shop where Miyana's mother and grandmother were volunteering that day. She had a notion and simply hoped that she was both right and wrong about her hypothesis. It's probable that Miyana's grandfather is to blame for everything turning into a shambles. She remembered overhearing her father-in-law chatting to Miyana about surprising her father when he was out working a few days before. She didn't want to think Miyana had truly listened to that cuckoo's words.
She dragged her feet towards the closest pay phone, her palm over her face, after taking a few coins from her mother's tip jar for the hospital patients. She waited while she dialed her spouse and heard the ringing fade in and out of tone. She took a big breath, hoping she was both right and wrong about everything. As the phone tone faded, she recognized the man on the other end of the line. It was her hubby.
“Honey glaze. There is a slight possibility that your command center may be infiltrated by an army of toddlers today.” When she stated that, her tone of voice sounded resigned. Who knew she'd ever say something like that in her entire life.
Her husband seemed baffled, since he had never been instructed what to do in this sort of scenario, nor had it ever happened before. But. “Wow. Ok? I'll go investigate it.” When he hung up the phone, he was thinking about how a group of children managed to cross a road that should have been monitored to get to his location.
Soon after the call ended, Miyana’s father and a few others drove off to the only placement there is to where they were to the city. They were all hoping to run into a child eventually. Within thirty minutes, the crew discovered a group of youngsters playing along the river's stream. “They didn't even venture far out of the city, but they've been gone almost all morning.” Solider one chuckled. “I imagine they were too busy having fun in the water to notice the time; after all, it's a beautiful day to be outside in the water. Look, even my devious delinquent twins are having a good time,” soldier two motioned to her girls, with annoyance in her voice.
Miyana's father couldn't blame the kids for being sidetracked; after all, it was supposed to be the only good weather this week. He was just relieved he didn't come across a child suffering from heat stroke at this time. “When she warned me about an army of toddlers was coming to invade us, she wasn't kidding.” Both guards gazed at Miyana's father, who was donning the finest expression they'd ever seen him exhibit. “Commander?” Soldier one was amazed and glad he was able to witness fine beauty and weather today.
