Life happened.

As some of you might know, I am military, and it is a full-time job. Calling it a job isn't fair, it's a vocation, a career and something i still LOVE to do on a daily basis.

On that note, I had heard rumblings that I might deploy, so, I prepared a while back just in case. While still holding out hope that it might go away like all of these rumors go, but after a week, it turned out to be official.

For obvious reasons, I never made any dates or any locations public, and by now I am already overseas, and I don't have much time to write, if at all.

Patreon has already been put on pause since the week before i left, so some of you might've noticed the complete stop of new chapters there, for that i'm sorry.

I HAVE to hiatus this. My career is more important than my hobby.

I had hoped that once I was settled I could return to writing consistently, but sadly it's not been the case.

I hate that I have to do it, but such is life. It is what it is.

All the chapters that were on Patreon have been posted now, and from this point on... this will either be on hiatus until I come back (Minimum of six months, maximum of 12) or dropped entirely, depending on how I feel about writing post-deployment.

I want to thank all of you who made it to this point and read through my journey as I tried figuring out how to write anything above 500 words, it's been fun and I love all of your TFTC.

Side note, all you negative nancies who want to give me your reasons as to why you don't like my characters, I do not care and unless you gave actual pointers, i blocked all of you and deleted your negativity. Your 0.5 stars were delicious, and I loved them. Stay mad.

To the rest of you who edited a lot of the early chapters, reached out, and constantly interacted with me over the last few months, thank you. You've made me experience something I never even imagine possible.

Oh and yall so easy to trigger. 3 side character deaths in over 300k words and your up in arms. Everything Tyler's done is in character for him. He is stupid, and experiments when he shouldnt. Not every part of one's life is nice and cozy. Much less in a cultivation world. The moment someone "dies" and it's not outwardly said they are alive yall just bitch and complain like toddlers. Truly amazing you think you are entitled to anything from MY hobby, and MY story.

Yall truly make some authors lives hell. I laughed it off but I know others who are deterred to write from your comments sometimes. Be nice. It's free content.
