After slowly managing to come to a stop again, I decided that before I go wondering at all this - admittedly suuuuper pretty - stuff, I should try to come up with a better way of moving around than, "not getting pushed".

So I'm floating here, thinking.

What if I tried just forcing it? No, I'd move super slow, and whenever I got distracted I'd go right back to being blown around. What if I twisted with the wind in the general direction I wanted to go? Hmmmm, what would I do if there was a strong wind in the opposite direction of where I wanted to go? Not that then. What if I made myself, angled? Sharper, more solid. Then instead of getting twisted, pushed, spun, and all that, maybe the wind would just go around me. Well, no harm in trying. I think.

I ready myself, and then I focus on my body. I know I can control it, or else how would I move at all? Now I just have to try to figure out how to do it better. With a thought, I try to move, but instead of moving my whole body, I try to change it. And it works, sort of. I stretch out some, becoming less of a blob and more of an, uh, oval-ish blob. Now I try to take the outside edge of my body, and just make it more defined. With a bit of focus, I've changed once again. Now I've gone from a shapeless outline to a sort of long-sphere-oval-thing, but with faceted sides. Okay, progress. Now if I could just get a liiiiittle straighter, and longer and- there, done. I have achieved my final form, and IT IS GLORIOUS. I look like, for lack of a better description, a really long, incredibly thin and sharp string. But that's not what's important. What matters is this.

I CAN MOVE! WHOOOOO!

The wind has gone from pushing against me, to sliding right around my thin little form. Yeah there's still some resistance, but it's barely even there! This is great! I weave myself through the wind currents, letting them pull me, and all I have to do is gently slide myself along the ones that are moving the way I want to go. It's a bit convoluted, but with so little resistance, moving from current to current is simple now.
