I said, as I stepped out of the cloud and headed down the hill, toward Rivercrest. I squinted up at the sun, which was already halfway across the sky.

I jerked a stop. The city beneath me…it looked like a castle.

The walls had been reinforced with plates of copper and bronze, and the ramparts bristled with cannons. Guards strode up and down the walkways, and archers crowded the guard towers, surveying the lands beyond with elegant recurve bows hanging from their backs.

Ezzie said.

I said. I picked up the pace, having no trouble jogging all the way to the gate without having to stop to catch my breath, armor and all. The drawbridge click-clacked down to admit me, and as soon as I set foot on it, a series of prompts popped into view.
