The surrounding was filled with students gathering, there were no stop of sound pollution and land. I was in one of them, when everyone got their own friend circle, I was all alone, stuck in thinking. Just when I was about to get sick of waiting, the student council arrived and gave a speech of importance of club. I didn't pay attention much and we were departed to acquire some members or advertise our club.

For the club, it was only me and Hiromi-san, handing out the club papers. There wasn't any student willing to join our club and with that, we hopelessly waited for a student to show up on our counter to join the club whcih miserable failed. Just to be clear, I didn't asked Hiromi-San to help me, she came to help me by herself.

It was so awkward between us, we haven't talked for once. She stood up from our counter, and went somewhere else.

It is obvious, she must be bored.

"Maybe I should also stop for a day?" I whispered to myself when I head to the toilet. Coincidently I happened to witness, Hideki and Hina.

"Hina, please, listen to me, it is not like what you think."

"Just shut up! I knew it, she was the one you are talking about this past few days right."

"No, No, it was my friend-"

"You liar, I will never believe you, Never talk to me again."

Hina ran away as she wipe away her tears.

That's harsh, and it's even harsh that Hina doesn't know that Hideki is building a harem.

"Hina!"

Well, I better take a different route to toilet. Wait a minute!

"That's harsh."

"Kurai-Kun."

"Sorry for eavesdropping, I happened to hear it."

"It's fine, it wasn't much of a big deal."

"I don't know about it, you seemed pretty sad about it."

"Is that so?"

He tried to smile.

"Now you are making it worse, anyway, can you help me after school? I need a hand."

"Um.. S-sure. It is weird coming from your mouth, you never ask other for help."

It was refreshing after I left the toilet, without any hope, I left the finding of members for a day.

Now then, I better get to work.

"Kurai-Kun, I came as you asked."

It was Hideki, after the class, he came as I asked.

"Can you wait till all the students leave the classroom?"

"Okay."

"Meanwhile, I need to go somewhere, so you wait here for a while."

After a half an hour, I came back to the class.

"So? How do I help?"

"Before that, can we talk?"

"What do you want to talk about?"

"Well, I think you choose the great option, acting innocent to distance yourself from Hina so you can be free to talk to Hiromi-san."

"Huh?"

"Wasn't this your plan? Every boys do this once they get bored of their girl and beside you are handsome, it will be easy for you play the innocent role."

"You are crossing the line."

"No wonder Hina get played easily, she just need a handsome and kind boy to give her bit of caring and then she will just fall in love like that. Truly a cheap-"

I was dragged closer, his right hand was grabbing my collar and judging from his strength, he was truly frustrated.

"You don't get to talk about my childhood friend like that. You don't even know her very well, she is sweet, cute, sure, she is sometimes going overboard with her jokes but she is kind deep inside okay, unlike you who hide true nature, she is honest and never hides her true self."

"But isn't that why you get bored of her?" I grinned.

"You are wrong! I will never get bored of her, I like how she gets over excited when talking about her pets, I like how she greets me every morning, and I like how she blush when I tease her a bit."

"So cringe." I forced him to let go of my collar.

"Think what you think about it, but these are facts."

"Whatever."

I slide the door, before I left, I whispered," There you go, Hope you are satisfied." Hina's eyes were full of tears, rolling endlessly on her face.

Changing role here and there, it was tiring today, I wonder how people get through day by acting, Everyday people changed role at least more than 10 times, sometime they play protagonist, nerd, supporting, background character, crazy one, joker one, don't they even get sick of it? These can very much likely to cause mental breakdown, I am surprised that people are still sane. I don't think I can change that much.

I forgot to make her sign, I guess I will ask her tomorrow.

It was my turn again, I want to avoid it but thinking about the lunch money, I couldn't afford to avoid the shift. Today was silent day, not a single customer showed up, I would be reading a manga if I was home.

So did the bad lucky hit me, a girl came through the door, she directly came to counter.

"A girl is getting in the corner." She spoke quickly.

"That girl again!" I was prepared to run again.

"I found you."

"What?" Ah, I messed up, How did I not realize that she was the girl from yesterday.

"You saved me yesterday didn't you."

"No, I don't know what you are talking about." I avoid eye contact.

"You just said again didn't you?"

"Ugh."

"Thank you very much about yesterday! I owe you one." She bowed.

"You don't need to bow, I did what everyone would do."

"Nope, not everyone will come to help a stranger. Tell, what can I do for you?"

"I didn't do it for getting a repay. I just happened to be there."

"Still, if you don't request anything, I will feel like I didn't thank you so please!"

"I-If you insists, can you come to the stool room tomorrow? I need you to do something for me."

"Is it a dirty thing?" She smirked," Well, I did say I would do anything." Her face became red.

"No, Why would I do something like that?"

"Boys like that?"

"They do, but not every boy are like that."

"Hmm... You are a weird one."

"Thank you."

"Welp, I will see you tomorrow then, see ya."

That was a tiring conversation, It was supposed to be Hideki who should be helping her. *Sigh*

Another day of encountering problems, I need to pull myself together.
